Yea I get your point now. But don't you think that US politics stagnated a lot? The last time the federal minimum wage was increased is 11 years ago. If we have an annual 1-2% of inflation than that minimum wage should increase as well accordingly. There aren't any policies in place for stuff like this and that results into the current situation. If you ignore a problem and let it grow this much, your actions to tackle the problem should be as big, don't you think?

UK isn't part of the EU lol. They probably have the least pro EU policies of any European country. There's 2 extremes. You can look at Scandinavia for instance where a minimum wage doesn't even exist. They simply have their tarifs for each profession and don't underpay employees. Or maybe Luxembourg where its double of what UK pays. As I said, it really depends on which countries you look at. That's why the EU pushes for an EU wide minimum wage.

When was the last time minimum wage was ever increased? Its not like a policy like this is discussed every year. Once increased it'll stay like that for decades probably. The US always manages to fuck itself over. Most European countries do an annual increase of a few percents and over time it adds up and also counteracts inflation.

It has become worse than TV. 16 seconds at the start of the video, then 16 seconds 2 more times during the video and at the end 8 seconds.
