But say that the average rapist (who actually faces his actions) gets 20 years in prison. Should she also get 20 years for lying about it? 1	"what my actions have consequences?" You could still argue that it’s solicitation to an officer. Thats why I said she was lucky he wasn’t a stickler. It really depends on the officer’s interpretation of the statement, not the intent of the suspect. She really could be asking if there’s something she could do to make it right. But as long as the officer takes it as a different meaning it doesn’t matter. It’s not right but that’s the American Justice system.
