Love me a Christmas Day debate on PPD
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/24 04:58 PM

As an elder Millennial, the longest-lasting hetero relationships in my demographic are the ones where it’s obvious that the guy is the more attractive (financially, physically, etc.) of the two. He doesn’t pedestal her, and she recognizes that he is her best-case scenario.

It’s fun going to a beta-buxx wedding and seeing that all the bride’s guests are women with plus ones and the groom’s guests are mostly single guys going stag.

As an unattractive man men, we need to accept our faith fate and acknowledge that we are not meant to have sex. FIFY

both men and women, be a lot happier if we understood that the values and personality we need in a partner to make us feel fulfilled and safe and loved is infinitely more valuable than seeking out the hottest, richest person you can find You were right in the original comment that touched this all off in that I am indeed bitter about things I’ve seen as opposed to experienced first-hand. I’m still in the phase of trying to score objectively attractive women, getting one for a few months, and fin…

I’m not blaming women for anything. I’m stating that women, by and large, have difficulty maintaining attraction to men with lower n-counts than themselves. The dudes in question were like me when they got beta buxxed: socially inept, kind of naive, and horny AF. They married recovering carousel riders who wanted many of the same things out of partnership (friendship, support, companionship, etc.) and were willing to give them a chance. But when their wives met coworkers who really got their jui…

I’m upset about the use of legally-purchased firearms at mass shootings at Columbine, Shady Hook, Parkland, and hundreds of other schools. Do you ❤️ how I’ve never experienced a mass shooting myself?

Famine taught men to build silos. In an era when exciting new dick is mere swipes away for most women, scarcity isn’t teaching lessons anymore.

Asian American men are often characterized as effeminate, especially in the pre-woke teen comedies that Millennials grew up on. As a hapa, I’ve had some early-morning “You were my first Asian!” conversations with still-drunk partners. None of them stuck around, in part, because being seen with an Asian guy diminished their stature within their social circle.

Here’s who: There was once a common understanding in our society among men that there are standards of action and behavior to which men should hold themselves. Men, the code dictates, among other things, keep their word, whether in writing or not, men do not take advantage of women, men support their children, and men watch their language, especially around women and children. The code of men is fading. — William J. Bennett, Reagan’s Secretary of Education and Bush Sr.’s drug czar. If you’re a M…

AWDTSG is a testament to how hetero dating culture in the US has devolved into soft harems. Hetero men in their 20s and 30s are either at the center of one (top 10%) or waiting patiently for a participant to [glumly] lower her standards (bottom 90%).

hoes Not loving that language, tbh. There’s nothing inherently wrong with being sexually prolific. Romantically- and sexually-prolific people (men and women) have always had this level of insight. Social media allows males with little first-hand exposure to women (teenaged boys, incels) to develop similar levels of cynicism towards them, albeit in a vacuum. I do think that women, in general, benefit from knowing what raging misogynists sound like behind closed doors. 🤣

Yeah, my limited experience with LTRs was even more ‘dating’: dishes, laundry, chauffeuring her when her German import was in the shop, curated weekend outings, all for semi-monthly starfish. I was such a simp, it turns my stomach a decade later. That said, a lot of my beta buxx friends are teetering near that in their marriages.

Also statistically men cheat more than women so you have less to worry about than she does. Ah yes, the “women good, men bad” narrative perpetuated by those GSS surveys. What really interests me is a more recent and focused survey targeting both adulterers and and jilted spouses. Of the pool of self-reported adulterers, 52% identified as female and only 37% as male (the remainder skipped the gender question or were non-binary).

Saying that men in relationships are getting a worse deal is offensive and insulting to women. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 It’s offensive and insulting to you because of how accustomed you are to hearing the reverse in the echo chamber of Western MSM. In the words of Brian Simms, the first openly-LGBT person elected to the General Assembly in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania: When you’re accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression.

I feel like being inexperienced actually leads to loving [women] less, how do you know you’ve got the best when you literally haven’t experienced anything else? This is the difference between abundance and scarcity mindsets. Men who rarely get sex appreciate the women willing to fuck us, so much so that we overlook a lot of flaws in order to enter formal relationships with them. Sex and intimacy is probably the highest thing on my list when looking for a LTR, so yes, the men that end up in the L…

Maintaining a formal relationship requires far more resources (time, logistical, financial, monetary) than maintaining informal/casual/ONS. And for most men in formal relationships, the frequency of sex decreases. So the guys capable of forming casual relationships or just spinning plates are literally getting more bang for their buck. The difference is that she loves the relationship guy - something, I understand to most men of this sub, is either impossible or irrelevant (as the only thing tha…

There’s some wisdom with starting your search among the audience most likely to accept you in the first place. Comedienne Issa Rae for caught hell for suggesting that hetero Asian men and Black women pair off because they are the least desirable demographics for straight Tinder users. She wasn’t wrong though. 🤣

As someone who has dated single, part-time moms, it’s not a terrible deal with your ex is solvent and sane. Of course, I want kids of my own and they wanted me to remain childfree, which is why they didn’t work out.

The disconnect with a lot of guys on here (including me) is that sex is inherently scarce, so we’re gonna keep it on a pedestal no matter what belief system we follow. I agree in theory that emotional labor and sexual access don’t have to be fulfilled by the same person, but it’s pretty hard for us to obtain the latter without performing the former.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/24 08:50 PM

We come here asking women to acknowledge their hypergamous nature and she’s obliging us. What would you have her do? She’s saving the time and energy of guys who aren’t into that. Her lifestyle is wild by my standards too but she has the decency to be transparent, which is all we can really ask for.

Why can’t a female SW enjoy intercourse with a male client who cannot find a sex partner via traditional courtship? It may be unlikely, but so is a 30+ n count woman remaining monogamous but we can’t write that out! As usual, BP worldview defaults to villainizing romantically unsuccessful men…

Y’all say some wild shit whilst drunk or post-cordial. The dudes that come up then are exactly why proto-beta guys like me bail. Also, “you should have met me in high school/college” is something Chad never hears. Because he’s the one she’s talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/24 03:02 PM

I’m being sarcastic and hoping she takes the bait. Women care about concealing their body count, but when we do it (specifically in the context of hiding visits with SWs), the past somehow becomes everybody’s business. u/attendquoi wants to minimize her chances of falling for an LVM average man.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/24 07:06 PM

No she’s for past partners (AKA one’s body count) being nobody’s business. And hopefully, STI checks and paternity checks being mandatory. I could live with that.

Oddly heart-warming anecdote for PPD. Good luck to the both of you!

Based. Women choose to go on dates. We must earn them - there are marked thresholds a guy must cross (height, income, race, neurological) before actually participating in the SMP instead of watching from the sidelines. Are you approaching the conventionally ugly women? You’ve got to build momentum somehow - try going NoFap for a few weeks; it’ll make you thirstier than a Marine on shore leave. You won’t discriminate and you’ll be a lot more pragmatic about your cold approaches.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/24 07:39 PM

Even women who don’t have any tattoos like them. There was a guy who used to hang around here (jax006) who said he got a sleeve and it upped his SMV instantly. The way he described himself was kind of like you - professionally successful, but reeked of beta due to years of rejection in his teens and twenties. EDIT: Saw OP’s history - he admitted he’s in poor shape. That’s the first hurdle.

The AI tech you need is to detect women who are showing interest in you and choosing signals. The glasses let you know who to talk to, not, and when to give up, or ask to exchange contact info. A lot of pickup game is choosing who best to waste your time trying with. …users found that their units only worked in remote Myanmar and in the Darien Gap, despite both being regions with spotty mobile data.

Despite being a LVM, I’ve been able to pull it off 2X with women whom I subsequently attempted to court long-distance (and failed). It’s really awesome for the guy. More often than not, it sucks for the woman since she’s had better. More than that, no small part of a guy’s SMV comes from his ability to recruit partners. Since virgins-by-circumstance have never been chosen, their SMV takes a huge hit - and some women take it very poorly when they find themselves linked (physically or socially) with a low SMV guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 08:55 PM

She’s not wrong that these outcomes are possible. I am exactly what she’s talking about. I guess it is misandry, but it’s an area of improvement for late bloomers. We don’t need to wear our shame, frustration, and loneliness on our sleeve IRL (although it’s cathartic doing it on Reddit). Frankly, a lot of us in the global West should just start saving for a week in Nevada and leave it all there.

Like any other participant in the SMP, we have to highlight our upside and minimize (or outright conceal) any downside. Learning “game” (or whatever the kids call it these days) is how men like me feign the experience and instinct of more prolific men, at least in the motions leading up to the bedroom. Your guy’s eccentricities aside (whining - wtf?), sex - let alone sex with a woman towards whom we are attracted - is scarce. So blowing (figuratively) a promising first date by asking for it doesn’t feel like much of a risk, since a getting rejected would still feel like a typical weekend night.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 11:32 AM

Option 2 easily. If you’ve spent most of your life jumping from dry spell to dry spell, the prospect of consistent and high-quality sex with an attractive woman is enticing. Sure I may be missing out on a rewarding, loving relationship but I don’t know what that would feel like since I’ve never been in one. What I do know is that I have a great network of friends through school, jobs, and hobbies. In this hypothetical scenario, I’d just keep doing me while forking over some of my paycheck to thi…

A privilege that the actual victim did not get to enjoy. Bucks County is aggressive on rape charges (generally against men) because they want potential offenders to think twice. You would think that they would want false rape accusers to think twice, too.

In a westernized SMP, phenotypes common in Asian men are less likely to attract marital partners. Conversely, phenotypes common in Asian women motivate heightened levels of mating interest among heterosexual men.

Since when is sharing anecdotes ‘pushing a narrative’? On a post in another sub, you’re complaining about how your career isn’t respected by people of your culture since it isn’t dependent upon a college degree. As a Asian American, I get that. But using your own logic, that’s ’pushing a narrative’ too. INB4 ‘looking at my post history is creepy.’ It’s not - it’s how we hold each other accountable for coherence and intellectual consistency.

40M. I’m in a large running club in a DC suburb. Overall it’s wonderful but the Red Black Pills come at you fast and hard: while most of the members are already married or in relationships, pretty much all the single guys are East-, South-, or Southeast Asian men. I’ve been in the club for two years and the only single guys who ‘met’ a teammate running were tall white guys.

Sex positivity is usually a green flag, and in a Western hetero SMP, that attribute generally correlates with higher n-counts. The men who are vocal about a preference for lower (or nonexistent) n-count partners generally come from a place of fear: their own sexual performance will be deemed inferior to that of a previous partner(s), the memory of whom may undermine the current relationship or worse, render them a cuckhold. While some women obviously feel similarly, the preferences demonstrated …

No, but larger forces in the SMP drive individual behavior. My Hinge profile is incredibly popular with single moms ranging from early 30s to 50+; no other demographic displays the slightest interest. 99% of women will only sleep with a guy if they’re open to a relationship with him, however unlikely it would be for him to commit. For women in their prime, of course that’s Chad, which is why they endure situationships with him. Women who have high body counts and have had a lot of casual sex, but have never pursued a serious relationship by their late 20s/early 30s are pretty uncommon. Agreed, and no shade on them. The distinction I’m making is that casual sex is an option for most women in that age bracket and always with men of much higher SMV than themselves. Serving as Billy Beta for a Stacey nearing her Wall is about the best RP indoctrination you can have. Bottom 80% men know that a sexually adventurous woman can land men 4-5 pts above her, at least for an evening. While I love that thirst, I know that my turn only comes when the fun is over. Well stated. I too was always confused about this issue until I understood the difference between a woman’s sexual attraction and the pool of men willing to date her. Women quietly (or maybe loudly) play a status game against other women around who is with the most exclusive catch of a man. They want their friends to find their man extremely desirable, but also very choosy, and remain faithful to her - making her very special. A winner. This is why many women feel very torn about dating a decent…

Men like myself and OP are invisible to sexually enlightened women so they’re not gauging us for shit 🤣. When my female friends tell me about their slutty phases (one got Eiffel Tower’d freshman year), they do it for shock value and because, in their eyes, I’m just “one of the gals.” If they tell their fiancées, more power to ‘em, but those dudes are probably BBs. The truth would destroy them.

Well, you missed out on a very liberated woman. Whether or not that’s your cup of tea is a personal decision and there are tons of downsides besides STIs

Then I found out that she had been in multiple threesomes, had sex with at least 30 people that I'd known about, and very likely more than that. Did she tell you about the 3-ways? If so, you never had a chance with her in the first place. Women don’t admit to shit like that in front of guys they like. If you heard about these exploits from someone else, how do you know they’re a credible source? You don’t sound like someone who would be able to elicit that info out of her girlfriends.

MBA from an M7 is A+ networking, but you’ll be a decade older than the rest of your cohort. And you’ll get into six figure debt. Invest in yourself with personal training, therapy, and whatever else you need to pass for an easygoing, fun, and fit silver fox. If you build him, the single moms will come.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/24 02:37 PM

Women ignored me until I was in my mid 30s. I pay for premium Hinge and Bumble for lolz, and most of my incoming likes come from women my age or older. Judging by the inevitable kid in tow, they chose someone else before deciding that I deserved a shot. By and large, I decline to match.

Political parties in the global West offer radically different visions of how men and women should co-exist in society: - pro-birth movements seek to hamper women’s economic freedom by yoking them with unwanted children - fourth wave feminists leverage historical grievances to create de facto wealth extraction from men through affirmative action in scholarships/college admission, “diversity” quotas at work, and automatic presumption of guilt when SA and DV accusations are levied against men Righ…

waited too long OP may be correct that dating is unlikely in his immediate future. 63% of American men between 18 and 30 are single. As opposed to 34% of women in the same bracket. My point was that he needs to discover himself while he waits for his turn to participate in the SMP.

As an average guy, I’m a human doing. I’m not attractive enough to be lusted after, but I get value by being useful. Women are human beings - we appreciate them for merely existing.

People, both male and female, who aren't top tier for their social class have always had to make lifelong compromises [on] what they really want in order to accomplish major goals like financial security, marriage and kids. You're probably not going to have the sort of car, house, job, spouse or kids you really want if you're second rate. Maybe you can have one or two things you really want…scarcity is one of humanity's major drivers. You desire the thing that is better but scarce. But it costs.…

Guys know that for the most part, Lefty is a poor substitute for a partner. As such, we only engage her when there’s no one else. There’s a direct and inverse correlation between Lefty’s workload and a guy’s love life.

In my experience, both genders want to be: - treated by partners like investments (i.e. have our flaws accepted, have our potential as individuals get recognized and nurtured, and be held onto for long term) - introduced to partners like prizes (i.e. “I have such a great personality and/or rich inner life, therefore I deserve Chad/Stacey despite my shortcomings.”)

Cause he’s not a car? He’s a person, arguably he’s increasing with value with every year and the experience and knowledge that comes with it. When my fiancé finds out that I boosted my n-count through several debauched weekends at the Bunny Ranch (which cost so much that I could only afford a cubic zirconia stone instead of a diamond), I hope my friends defend me similarly. If this is how you truly feel about people then he dodged a massive bullet Damn right I did!

I built up my superficial qualities (career, finances, body) in order to better compete for educated, non-obese, and childless women. Where I live, that particular demo can afford to have all the icks they want.

AI humanoid gfs are the next step in OnlyFans-esque parasocial relationships. AI will construct the perfect performer based on your vidya history, and the avatar (onscreen or physical) will be more responsive, compassionate, and low-maintenance than her human counterpart could ever hope to be. Thank God that Biden is rebuilding our energy grid to accommodate all the extra server farms needed to keep American men in some simulacrum of romantic fulfillment.

It depends on how effectively UBI + progressive taxation are implemented. Middle class occupations are going to be wiped out, at least in the Global West where white-collar professionals are overcompensated relative to the value we add. A lot of us will be working the last jobs left to be automated: delivering babies, wiping asses of the elderly, and putting up buildings. A good UBI scheme would allow women and Gigachads to keep sport fucking one another until they both hit the wall. A century f…

My “starter girlfriend” was fatter and less financially successful than I was/am. She got to be with a smart, fit, stable guy who just happened to be too Asian for most women in Arlington County (VA) in 2008. In most cases, the “starter girlfriend” is getting something out of it. And if she put in as much work to keep him around as she would for Chad, maybe her trial period wouldn’t have to end 💡

But at certain age if a guy has never dated or even had sex it's basically too late. In your opinion what age is it over for inexperienced guys? If by “over” you mean “impossible to develop a physically intimate relationship with a looksmatch who isn’t a single mom yet,” I’d say 25-29. Plenty of women will date a virgin who is fitter and lighter than they are. Plenty of single moms will date a virgin, especially if he is fitter and lighter than they are. Plenty of women will date a virgin if the…

Some single mothers understand this. That’s why they date guys they would have otherwise not dated. FIFY And the rest could be paired off with financially stable, kind, and visually uninspiring men if they accepted that getting the first two attributes means she’ll have to “suck like a Hoover” in spite of the third. Also ironically, men who aren't married and start wearing a fake wedding band, start getting more attention from women than if he wasn't, despite nothing has changed about him. When you point it out women will swear up and down that it's some intrinsic essential part of him that changed that women can somehow sense, when the reality is that women have a massive pre-selection bias and will go after men who are already in relationships, because mate-poaching a guy who is already in a relationship …

People have inherent value - there’s no question about it. That’s why Westernized nations place such importance on “human rights.” Unfortunately, access to employment or to sex are not human rights. As they are finite resources, we allocate them through the labor marketplace and the sexual marketplace, respectively. And in those marketplaces, relative value becomes readily apparent. Digital nomads and passport bros are doing the same thing: leveraging a lower cost of doing business (rents or soc…

A lot of social conventions around approaching hetero women in Westernized SMPs assume that men know understand who’s in/ below our league vs who’s out of it. For instance, “Hi, you look great tonight. My name is [Tobor Xes], what’s yours?” is friendly and inviting if you perceive me to be a HVM, or harassment [“Why can’t I just drink with my friends?”] if you perceive me to be a LVM.
