I’m in a similar place. My 2c, it might be weird but GO anyway. Just tell them up front, “looking forward to it, it’ll be great to socialize with everyone outside the office. As you know I’m divorced and not currently seeing anyone, so if you have a non work buddy you want to invite so as to not throw off the seating, please do!” Bonus, you might be offered leftovers!
