Im not necessarily agreeing with her use of the term male privilige, but privilige is only loosely conected to blame - if at all. The words she used triggered you. Made you feel blamed as a man. I get it. Im just trying to point out that pretty much all social interaction in society is gendered. That is, we learn to think gender matters and to adapt to others expectations of us - expectations partially based on our percieved gender. To answer your question: inderecly, to a degree, YES i do blame…

I knew i had to sort by controvercial to find something i agree with in this thread.. The point is that these things, like "who feels like they can wear what" are social constructs. Even though it is likely mostly other women shaming women for it, that is a toxic social construct that is culturally bounded and best understood in relation to a broader context, that includes men.
