Lemme apologise homie. My comment was unnecessary and didn’t contribute nothing; negative energy isn’t what I’m tryna put out. Keep up the good work.

I got a challenge bud, try stayin off Reddit for 6 months. It’ll do you wonders. This energy can be much better spent at the gym, social gatherings, a business, the list goes on. Your post is sidebar info mixed in with terminology. Reddit ain’t the place you wanna be when hittin old age.

Why don’t you put this energy into a job or something?

Great post brother. This resonated with me far more than any of the recent posts, your last two paragraphs especially. People truly do not want to face reality and their own problems even if it’s the way forward to achieving success. It’s depressing to see and i am sure every one of us went through such a similar stage, only to find the constant illuminating light at the end. Flaunting such happiness and success makes the 95% of people resentful and that tends to be projected towards you. I’m 17…

I don’t fucking watch porn. Haven’t in years let alone masturbated to it. It’s like half of you didn’t even read the post. She just didn’t turn me on. Shit happens.

Viagra at 17 and quitting porn. Are you that far up your own ass your ego tells you that’s quality advice? Read the post then decide whether spewing out autist shit is a good idea.

Mediate regularly and I mediated before I met her to get rid of any intrusive thoughts like you said. Shit worked but when I think about what happened, I genuinely think it was a lack of attraction for her. She had her top off and my shit was still limp. I’ll mediate to try get rid of any pressure I was putting on myself and remind myself to enjoy the moment. Thanks.

I owned that shit 100%, she even got concerned asking if I needed a minute and took the opportunity to relax for a bit. Still, the problem was I could not move on, as if this was a dead end. What’s SGM?

What do I gain out of him telling me how he had an affair, told it to my mother’s face, then proceeded to divorce my mother, leave her with four children and have his own children. If only you saw the pain on my mother’s face when she told me this, you’d realise this ain’t a simple case of “learn to forgive and forget”. Imagine how’d you feel to have your own blood father tell you that he can’t father you because he has his own new son to take care of. You don’t realise the shit this puts you th…

If you’re into autobiographies and seeing how people’s young adulthood shaped them into the person they are today and learning from it, then it’s worth it. Really gives you an insight into how Goggins became himself.

Legal age of consent over here is 16. I’ll revisit it when I become 18 as well.

Discipline yourself, stop the porn and don’t masturbate all the time. In that order. This led me to not care and realise life is way bigger than girls. Luckily I didn’t have as big as a problem with porn as some of these guys but if you do, better to cut it off now than later. Every time you’re about to search up porn, put the phone down. Based on personal experience, all masturbating does for me is get rid of my personality for me. Have you ever noticed that before and after, you socialise less…

To be honest, since I have so much free time now, I’m using it all to it’s max. It hasn’t drained me yet but if it does I’ll make sure to change the schedule. I’ve been lifting for roughly 9/10 months, I’m bulking because I’ve accomplished my goal of losing my skinny fat with lifting guiding it and a calorie deficit, which worked about 75% but now I’m trying to become as big as possible before school starts due to the free time I have. I prefer to work out each muscle groups, so even when one mu…

Very true. Right now, It just feels so normal to me that it kinda scares me now to go back to my old ways of staying indoors and playin console all day. I’m glad it’s normal. I live in a medium-sized town and lack of people my age and like me, while it’s expected, is scary. I see so many people with crazy potential and I give advice every now and then but sometimes it falls on deaf ears and I just have to watch potential get away. I just accept it and move on. Can’t do anything else.
/r/askTRP05/08/20 12:35 PM

I’m glad that’s true. I see so many of my friends making females their main priority and it kinda makes you question whether you should as well you get what I’m sayin? But I always remind myself to stay on the journey, I’m young and everything will come with time and patience.

I have began to notice signals every now and then but I’ll prefer to move to uni to get a clearer image before making any conclusions, as im in a town and girls are sort of scarce. I don’t want the signals to get to my head and fuck up my ego.

A lot of time. It’s just the pressure to lose your virginity at an age like mine that’s the problem. I can deal with it, it’s just overwhelming sometimes. I’m doing everything I can right now with my current situation. Mindset is crazy important to me so I’m improving it every day. Being extremely humble and grateful also helps. I think that’s exactly it. I need to wait for my hormones to kick in. Due to past experiences, I couldn’t force myself to put girls as my main priority anymore. My goals and mission are too important to me now to have anything overcome it. Thanks for the comment. Really helped clear some of my concerns.

Thanks for the comment. That’s my main goal, to work hard In these years when I’m young so I’m able to thrive later in life. Even at 16, I can see how far I’ve developed myself mentally and physically and I can’t be more grateful for it. I hope it does come with age. Thanks again.

That’s why I’ll be forever grateful for this subreddit. It has truly helped me defeat my anxiety and matured me into ways I never thought I would. All of that combined helped me essentially lose my stutter. To pick out medicine as a course, you essentially have to master it to excel at it. It’s a subject that’s complex in so many ways. If you master the craft, you’d be confident in what you tell your patients and they’ll be able to pick it up from there. I’m sure they teach you communication wit…

Good point. Communication will be key in supporting patients. It’s also the part that could decide my downfall. I have a stutter. It was severe when I was younger but with a combination of speech therapy and advice from this subreddit. It’s hardly noticeable now and I’m able to control it much better. Although it comes out when I speak to new people. I’m working on it and I’m sure I’ll have it completely under control by the time I get to university let alone my career. I always think my stutter…

I know. But it’s the fact that I despise maths to a whole another level. It’s difficult enough doing it at a GCSE level, let alone A level. I still have 6 months to decide so I’ll see if my mind changes. Then I’ll consider maths. I’ll see if I’m able to afford tuition and ask if I can be placed with a better teacher. My current math teacher is awful and I learn mostly nothing at her classes. Unfortunately, my school has a bit of a teacher crisis due to student behaviour. I’ve seen teachers cryin…

From what I know, to become an orthopaedic surgeon, you specialise in orthopaedics for about 2/3 years. Prior to this, every surgeon is required to learn general surgery then picks out a speciality that he’s interested in like lungs (cardiothoracic), heart (cardiovascular), etc. Now that I think about it, it’s extremely flexible. You could be a sports surgeon with bone-related injuries in sport fields. You could be working with a dentistry to make sure the jaw and surrounding areas like cheek bo…

Orthopaedic surgeon. Highly competitive and difficult to achieve. Two factors that make me want to pursue it and steers me away from it. Also time-consuming which if I do pursue it and end up not liking it, would be my worst case scenario.

Psychology was always just a subject I would’ve liked to do. Biology and chemistry were the ones I needed. Most universities require that as a minimum and i don’t want to do another year of maths let alone two. If medicine doesn’t work out, Finance was always my second option. Would picking biology, chemistry and economics work out for me? Edit: psychology is a subject universities take seriously. For example, University of Manchester takes psychology as an accepted subject for medicine along wi…

Any specific engineering? Would bioengineering be feasible? Analysis and science would be my strongpoints but unfortunately maths is definitely a weak point of mine. I’m pretty sure they do. I’ll check after Christmas holidays are over. I actually go to an academy. Because of this, they have more freedom than government secondary schools. For example, my school is specialised in business and has connections with Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes, etc and multiple other big companies my city. Because of this, there’s many opportunities over every school year to do something business related. The sixth form holds even more opportunities as they’re able to speak with m…

You’re pissed because I’m asking questions about your advice. I’m asking you because you gave me the advice. Is it difficult to see that? You could’ve easily made this a productive conversation but you had to be an asshole didn’t you. But don’t worry, I hope a 16 year old didn’t hurt your “experienced man” ego bro.
/r/askTRP26/12/19 02:38 PM
1

I should’ve been more clear. It goes high school, then you have a choice of sixth form or college, with sixth form being available if you have high grades. A levels is the exams you take after you finish the two years of sixth form. Year 11 (10th grade) is the last year of secondary school (high school) then you have the two years of sixth form (11th and 12th grade).
/r/askTRP26/12/19 02:07 PM
1

I wish it was that simple.
/r/askTRP26/12/19 01:58 PM
1

I doubt it as well. The fact that it’s a huge commitment and involves working hard all the time steers me away from it while also pulling me towards it. I don’t think I have time for a gap year. A levels basically decides the fate of my university life. And I’m going into sixth form by next year September. I need to decide by A level subjects by next year august or earlier. I can pick out my subjects right now if I wanted to but I’d rather use all the time given to me.

Universities are places to gain knowledge and learn about a subject. It isn’t about getting the best subject for money. Might come off as naive but I’m trying to learn and gain knowledge about a subject I enjoy. Explain to me how you’ll be financially independent when starting a business. There’s so many factors that could decide the fate of the business that it’s a gamble. The funds needed to start it up, among many other factors. Tell me how you’ll manoeuvre through these obstacles while becom…

I’ll research courses and see what interests me the most. I’m thinking of picking biology, chemistry and psychology for A levels. It should help narrow down the courses to ones that interest me. What universities would you say is best? Would international studying be a good idea?
/r/askTRP26/12/19 01:17 PM
1

I’m asking this question because the subjects I pick at A levels will impact what I’m doing in university. If I pick subjects like biology and chemistry at A levels, I won’t get accepted into subjects like finance or engineering and only get accepted in medicine, biochemistry, etc. But I do see where I went wrong. Degrees in, for example, biochemistry won’t limit me to one job and probably do the opposite.

Thanks. I’m in the UK so most therapists are free and covered by the government. Won’t hurt talking to one. Also what’s a rut? Google can’t seem to make up its mind on what it is. My fault. I didn’t mean to make it seem like I self diagnosed. Just the assumption that it could be. Again, my fault.
/r/askTRP21/11/19 05:41 PM

It’s not a diagnosis. I never “diagnosed” myself with bipolar. I just implied that a lot of it matches up with what I’m going through. Saying symptoms match up doesn’t mean I’m saying i have bipolar disorder and need treatment. Thanks for your input. I’ll see a therapist.
/r/askTRP21/11/19 05:36 PM

This post really opened up my eyes. Now I realise that 90% of women I’ve been with are bipolar. They’re toxic, crazy etc. Every single person who stumbles across TRP should be told about this. It’s really fucking important for your mental health.

I get your point. What should I do to change that mindset?
/r/askTRP10/09/19 09:41 PM

So I should be leading conversation and be relaxed?
/r/askTRP10/09/19 08:06 PM

Personally, I don’t feel awkward, but I feel like I’m perceived as awkward. I feel fine whenever in a conversation. Could also be fear as I’m more sociable with friends than new people. Now that I think about it, I might be using awkwardness as a scapegoat for not being able to continue a conversation beyond 5 or more minutes or a combination of both.

Yes you can do that. But girls shouldn’t be his primary goal. Girls will be a byproduct if he gets high SMV like qualities (good job, working out, etc). Although that isn’t all of it and social skills are part of it, the qualities sure help lay the foundation of getting girls.

Sort out your life. By the looks of it, you need to improve your speaking skills. Other than that, work on everything else. Plus you’re too young to be caring about girls. Girls will always be there. Focus on your grades, you only have a limited time to get them to the best you can get them to.

I have definitely improved my social skills. 6 months ago, it was really something else. Now, it has improved greatly. Not worth ruining my life over pussy. Got it.

Exactly. Yet my father decided to start his own other family and managed to give me 4 half siblings. It destroyed me knowing that he’s raising his other sons while being oblivious about me.

To be honest, he didn’t contribute to it but if I did have a father figure, then it would make things a lot more easier. I would’ve liked a great relationship with my father but I doubt the fact that it’s shitty contributed to it.

To be honest, I really don’t remember much. It seems that I got it when I moved schools, but when I got in touch with some of my old friends, they said they always noticed a stutter in my speech. I went from being social and had great friends to be the quiet kid in class. Really damaged my social skills, and the stutter was a side effect of that. Although I gained back my social skills, my speaking skills deteriorated quite a lot. My relationship with my mother was great but not so much with my …

It wasn’t. I was tired of not getting results from this girl so since I was gonna next her, might as well do that.

Well I did today, had her laughing, applied kino and started to feel up her thigh, she kept saying get off my thigh but I kept it going. I started acting distance since she went from being energetic and happy to quiet and not speaking. I said out loud “I’m leaving, you’re annoying me” And now she’s texting me saying I’m sorry. Unsure if there’s still potential or to next.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t done my research and it’s based off stuff that gets told by growing up. I’ve learned from my mistakes and I won’t make that one again.

I’m not trying to grow up being a midget especially at my age. I’m doing it on a beginner level and working my way up.

Thank you for the self respect part. I’m only a teenager but so many my age drink and smoke while not having any self respect and not knowing the consequences it could have physically and mentally. More people need to learn self respect.

Helps you wake up. Or at least that’s what I use it for. Also increased testosterone, helps you sleep better and speeds up recovery for muscles.

Turns out it was oneitis. I had several urges to run back to her but thank god I didn’t. It takes a while for me to get a hold of myself after situations which is what I really need to work on it. This is the one time in a long time I was considering running back to a girl. If she runs back to me, I’ll just pretend she doesn’t exist, I blocked her so I’m halfway there. I’ll follow your advice about the jealous part because i started talking to this girl when I was still a beta, comforting her an…

I would never take her serious all she is, is a plate. But just a plate I would rather have around. I’ll give it a few days, I’m sure she’ll come running back.
/r/askTRP08/10/18 05:28 AM

So if she does come back, should I accept her or not? And I know what she’s like, she’s way too insecure to randomly go cheating. Shit here I am making excuses.

Thank you for this post seriously. I’m quite young (probably for this subreddit) and this subreddit kind of helps me see what type of future I want to have. I’m doing everything I can to do things I want and more. I volunteered for my local hospital, went Army Cadets and even did Duke of Edinburgh Award this summer while my friends stayed home and played video games all night. I’m going to get friends my mindset or just me if it benefits me, but in this generation, can you really? Anyways, thank…

I read your first two sentences as “would it be a good idea to learn how to game girls before going out in the real world and actually doing it” so it’s a yes.

One last question, what’s a freedom unit? (It’s probably a country thing) and thanks for the post, it’s probably the most informant weight loss post I’ve read.
/r/TheRedPill11/08/18 06:14 PM

So overall, eating less than your TDEE and checking every month to adapt to your new TDEE? Does it matter what you eat? Theoretically, if you eat chocolate bars and candy but it equals to less than your TDEE, you still lose weight?

If someone is doing IF, should they eat then fast for let’s say 14 hours or fast and have small meals along the day? (1 or 2)

Fuck, I always try and keep that in mind but I don’t know how to continue with her without emotional investment. Fuck I’ll try and do that next time.

What do you mean by testing her shit tests? Would the shit test example about height and the response count as testing her shit tests?
/r/askTRP08/07/18 05:33 PM

So a shit test is for a woman to see how you would react to criticism? Basically something like that?
