That's fair and I agree with this, but I do think that the compromise stuff needs to be balanced out. I'm at a stage in my life where people are starting to make serious long term commitments and the decision about what's worth compromising on is really important at this time

To be fair though, it's sometimes tricky to tell from up close which of the issues are things you need to be a grown up and compromise or work around, and which are the ones that are real warning signs and that you might consider leaving over. Just because you're a bunch of years or more into a relationship doesn't mean you need to sacrifice your happiness because upheaval would be too hard.
