You’re forgetting, white men can’t be discriminated against because of all the privilege that comes inherent with being white and male. /s

I don’t agree with you there, I don’t think the feminist movement was a bad thing, just that it’s time has passed, women are in every conceivable way equal to men in the modern western world, the issue is they don’t want to give up the attention and privilege that being the “oppressed gender” gives them, and so to keep up the facade they’re enforcing the perception that men are the embodiment of everything ‘wrong’ with society, while women embody the good.

Feminists just use toxic masculinity to deflect blame for their wrongdoings and pin the blame on men for issues that affect men. It’s basically just a phrase feminists use to avoid actually taking the blame for any of men’s issues that arguably are worsened by feminism, and it perpetuates this whole idea that traditional masculinity is inherently bad whilst femininity is inherently good.

They go out of their way to make it so that a mans life can be destroyed for an interaction with a woman… and then have the audacity to complain that men are avoiding them because they don’t want to be falsely accused of sexual harassment?

Kind of a tangent but all this talk of male privilege from feminists is ridiculous, in this day and age there’s more of a female privilege than a male privilege, women get jobs for diversity, women get easier sentences for the same crimes as men, meanwhile men are treated like shit in many areas of society while at the same time being told they’re privileged and to blame for all of societies problems.

The stronger gender that protects them and then is constantly blamed for their issues

This honestly disgusts me. They’re basically rewarding women for domestically abusing their partners because their legal system is so stupid and misguided by feminism it can’t recognise that men can be victims of anything nor women perpetrators.

Indeed, and worse still, men can’t speak out against the blatant injustice for fear of being denounced a sexist woman hater, or worse.

Exactly, they’re just gonna make men’s lives a living hell. They’ve already successfully made men “the enemy” in the eyes of society. Then when men try to argue back or defend themselves against the constant accusations they just point at the years where a patriarchy did exist, and even though almost no men today were alive in those times they act like we’re still the privileged ones. They play the victim and pretend like they’re still the oppressed ones

Your analogy of an abusive relationship is actually an accurate depiction of modern feminism and that’s truly depressing

I have a feeling that if all of the nominees were women of colour they wouldn’t have a problem with it, because diversity has lost its meaning, it now just means as few white men as possible. As long as the nominees were nominated for their scientific ability and not their gender or race why does it matter what that gender or race is? All this shows is that this year more white men have made contributions to science than other groups, and the way to fix that isn’t to totally disregard the achiev…

Men aren’t one constant entity like feminists seem to think. Just because men years ago abused women doesn’t mean present day men can be held accountable. It literally has nothing to do with us that women in the past were abused, yet feminists act like just because some men decades ago were abusers, that all men are. But then again I guess feminists don’t care about their arguments making sense, they just care about finding a way to make themselves the victims in every situation. It’s nonsensica…

So you’re telling me that, legally, if a woman hits her man under any circumstances she’s always acting in self defence? Self defence against what, the man existing?! And I’m guessing if a man hits out of self defence he’s the perpetrator anyway since that seems to be the trend here.

Yeah I understand why feminists want to frame it like that, what I’m wondering is why society has allowed them to do so and completely ignored any evidence to the contrary.

This is feminisms hypocrisy showing itself again, because you know if men had a bunch of subs dedicated to woman hate the feminists would throw a fit.

If the evidence exists that both genders are equally victimised and offending then why have feminists been allowed to spin this fake “only females are victims of domestic abuse” angle for years?

they’re the toxic ones for calling him toxic for celebrating a woman’s success. The hypocrisy of feminism once again rears its ugly head.

Why are the feminists letting the courts imply that they are too weak to handle the same sentencing as men? Surely that goes against their goal of ‘equality’? /s

Victim blaming, as with many things, is only a problem when the victim is a woman as we all know. /s

Why is ‘patriarchy’ and ‘male privilege’ always cited as a reason for men to be discriminated against, as if the privilege of men in the past totally justifies discriminating against men today, who never experienced privilege for their gender.

Feminists want to be catered to, and know the best way to do that is to be the minority who society hates and need support. Henceforth it would be counterintuitive to acknowledge that society has become more biased against men, or that there has been any progress whatsoever.
/r/MensRights19/07/21 07:58 PM

Well of course women are most affected, the men have no money therefore the women can’t live off of them and have to earn money themselves. Who cares that the men can’t afford to live? /s

Society as a whole is less likely to recognise sexism towards men and sometimes requires the genders to be reversed in a situation to realise that a man is being discriminated against.
/r/MensRights18/07/21 07:26 PM

There’s a massive double standard that’s for sure, the worst thing is society conditions everyone to not see it as a problem when it happens to men. The fact that reversing the genders is necessary to realise that it’s assault is indicative of something very deeply wrong with society.
/r/MensRights16/07/21 12:41 PM

This is screwed up. Imagine if the genders were reversed.
