Male Spaces Yes, Manosphere No!I've never seen anything in this sub that's incongruent with this definition of feminism. I've seen this sub described as "misogynists who want free healthcare". You can't make some of this stuff up! | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 23/06/26 07:40 AM

New Statesman UK survey on women's attitudes towards men and vice versaThe quote doesn't mean that my outlook is fuelled exclusively by my own life, experiences and what I think would be better for me personally. If there was a slow cultural shift that made women approaching men normalised, and the inverse odd, many unattractive men would be less inclined to do so. Creeps will always do whatever, and a little more than societal norms are required to moderate their behaviour. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 10/05/26 07:14 AM
New Statesman UK survey on women's attitudes towards men and vice versaThis isn't about me, and it's certainly not purely from the perspective of "women should do this thing because it makes my life easier". It's a win from the perspective of both genders. Women would have to reject fewer annoying unattractive men. Meanwhile, certain men would be able to enjoy more romantic success without putting themselves in situations where they risk coming across as creeps/weird/annoying. I do agree that for really unattractive men, things wouldn't change much. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 09/05/26 07:22 AM
New Statesman UK survey on women's attitudes towards men and vice versaDo you want to mention why you disagree? Or have you got some more barely applicable analogies in your arsenal? | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 07/05/26 01:47 PM
Only a third of young women hold positive view of men, new poll findsI completely agree they should walk away, although it's harder to make that decision when love is involved. Why these women don't walk away though is a complete mystery to me. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 20/04/26 06:32 PM
New Statesman UK survey on women's attitudes towards men and vice versaIt's fair enough to be scared, but I think the far right is past its peak. Trump's poor performance reflects badly on all of them considering how in-bed with each other they all are. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 20/04/26 10:10 AM
New Statesman UK survey on women's attitudes towards men and vice versaA gap exists. It may have been large at one point in time, especially around Trump/Farage enthusiasm, but this is waning on both sides of the pond. General Reform popularity peaked in mid-2025. I feel like bleeding edge data such as this is needed to account for the dramatic political shifts which have taken place in the past 6 months. The "bro-vote" is widely considered volatile. https://www.statista.com/statistics/1066274/uk-general-election-polls/?srsltid=AfmBOooql811SPKFYP-uTvmgVVaYZVk8TLYCi… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 18/04/26 01:17 PM
New Statesman UK survey on women's attitudes towards men and vice versaLook, I agree re the latter, I certainly wouldn’t deny that. I would also agree that men are generally slightly more likely to vote right. However, men can be deserting the left without necessarily flocking to the far right in the seismic way the MSM likes to bang on about. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 18/04/26 06:17 AM
Only a third of young women hold positive view of men, new poll findsIt'll be a bit of both. A New Statesman video on this poll discussed interviews of women who post online "femosphere content". Many of them were very disparaging about their boyfriends and frequently used terms such as "weaponised incompetence" and such like. This is obviously a small sample size, but these are content creators who are disseminating these attitudes outwards. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/04/26 07:03 PM
New Statesman UK survey on women's attitudes towards men and vice versaIt was refuted very recently in the attached New Statesman video. Furthermore, in America, Trump buyers remorse is highest amongst young men. No group has swung away harder from Trump since his election. His only base these days are elderly christian evangelicals. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/04/26 06:51 PM
Only a third of young women hold positive view of men, new poll findsYeah it's this double standard which gets me down. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/04/26 01:53 PM
New Statesman UK survey on women's attitudes towards men and vice versaSeems like it, the question is though, how do men navigate life in light of this information? I for one am a bit fed up of men getting told to approach women when the world would be a far better place if things were the other way around. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/04/26 11:17 AM
Only a third of young women hold positive view of men, new poll finds100%, and considering this, men need to decide how to navigate life in light of this information. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/04/26 09:03 AM
Only a third of young women hold positive view of men, new poll findsYes I was just over there. I honestly expected a little bit worse, considering how newly emergent men's advocacy is. Like you, a frequent theme I noticed is the denial of female-on-male violence. I was tempted to write a couple of comments in response to these. At the same time, will I change any minds? It seems futile when you're up against Goliath social media algorithms. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/04/26 09:00 AM
New Statesman UK survey on women's attitudes towards men and vice versaFairly simplistic questioning sadly. Just “do you have a positive or negative view of the opposite gender”. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 16/04/26 08:17 PM
Oh boy. Ana Psychology saw the Netflix manosphere doc.To be fair, she's an educated and popular online psychology-content creator, and hence should know a bit better but doesn't. A random misandrist online wouldn't be worth this sub's time. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 01/04/26 08:00 AM
Dear Louis Theroux: we are the manosphereYeah, I mean I'd probably agree with a lot of that. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/03/26 12:51 PM
Dear Louis Theroux: we are the manosphereChris Williamson was called a "looksmaxxer" the other day. It goes to show how unfamiliar the MSM are with the terms they are using. Just like manosphere, its just become a catch-all term to refer to anyone deemed to be standing up for men's issues. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 16/03/26 01:48 PM
Vent/Rant Post: Severely depressed over gender warsYeah I see that sort of stuff and just assume that women won't want to interact with me in day to day life. Its massively affected my behaviour. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 03/02/26 09:06 AM
what do you guys think of this video made by leftist youtuber Adam Something? "The Left Created Andrew Tate (by Ignoring Young Men)"I think it certainly played a role. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 21/12/25 02:02 PM
what do you guys think of this video made by leftist youtuber Adam Something? "The Left Created Andrew Tate (by Ignoring Young Men)"I didn't even know he was in a boxing match! And that's probably the same for many young men out there, despite what The Guardian, Vox etc would have you believe. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 21/12/25 07:55 AM
Bernie Sanders on Men's issuesYes biology is the base layer, if you will. I'm not sure temperamental differences always are the same. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 28/10/25 08:50 PM
Bernie Sanders on Men's issuesI'd say social conditioning can exacerbate or downplay innate differences. Certain temperamental differences exist across cultures definitely. I'd say the magnitude of these differences vary across cultures though, which is probably the result of social conditioning among other things. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 28/10/25 01:41 PM
Bernie Sanders on Men's issuesMen who don't conform to stereotypically male behaviours or external appearances. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 28/10/25 12:47 PM
Bernie Sanders on Men's issuesPrecisely, I should of said that LGBT+ and gender non-conforming men are key exceptions. Although probably not for centre-right libertarian types. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 28/10/25 12:35 PM
Bernie Sanders on Men's issuesI'd say the right offers men more attention and recognition than the left, even if their prescriptions are ultimately bad. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 28/10/25 09:32 AM
Hot Take: The tone of this sub is starting to head in a concerning directionI'm not too engrossed in this sub. However, one thing I'd say off the cuff is that there are thousands of hours of videos online exposing the grift of the likes of Tate, Fresh and Fit, Iman Gadzhi etc. While Destiny and TYT give cursory criticisms of feminism from the left, this sub is only only place i've found where these or similar critiques are profoundly substantiated on. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 23/10/25 07:32 AM
Opinions on Sam Seder and the Majority ReportSorry for digging up an old thread, but some of his video titles are so self-indulgent its hilarious. "Sam Seder SMACKS DOWN xyz in DEBATE". They are the main left-wing participants of the "destroyed" industrial complex, almost on par with Shapiro with regards to this cringe. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 06/10/25 12:29 PM
I spoke to an incel expert about Netflix's Adolescencecompletely agree, normies and the MSM are keeping Tate on life support | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 23/03/25 10:35 AM
Opinions on Sam Seder and the Majority ReportGood to hear someone else is in almost the exact same boat. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 20/03/25 03:22 PM
Opinions on Sam Seder and the Majority ReportYeah the constant women have it worse thing epitomises her zero-sum mentality. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 18/03/25 02:27 PM
Opinions on Sam Seder and the Majority ReportThe best you'll get from these guys are the "men are hurt by patriarchy too" schtick, which while true is the only thing they are willing to concede. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 18/03/25 09:00 AM
Opinions on Sam Seder and the Majority ReportYeah it's a shame really. Seder certainly didn't need anything to bolster his smugness before the man-bun guy came on. The hispanic capitalist guy (Jorge?) was one of the few intelligent people on there. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 18/03/25 08:55 AM
