Like others said, find them in your classes or in the library. You're describing someone who's either going to sit at/near the front or at the very back to avoid people. Approaching in lectures gives you an automatic common topic—the class. Approaching in the library is harder, but just ask if a seat is taken, see what she's studying for, but ultimately she's there to do work, so for me it's been hard to find the balance of not being a huge distraction, but getting her to laugh and be comfortabl…

Been thinking about this too and honestly I'm fine with being friends. Unfortunately she doesn't have any hot friends, but she started as a time filler for me until she asked for my number. So, you're suggesting dial it back and if she makes a move she does, if not I've lost nothing and she's a cool friend for what it is—life is still the same.

I wouldn't say flirting with me, but still giving me signs like she is attracted to me; acting the same way she has since we initially met after saying she's busy. Which is why I've been thinking she genuinely is busy. I've made sure to not come off as needy or desperate, after she says she's busy I've never texted her after or anything. I think asking her straight up like you mentioned is a good idea
