Counter point: No. You should be able to cancel the ride as a passenger at anytime, it goes both ways, both parties should be able to say "Hold up I don't like this" and end the ride. Sounds like they knew they had no leg to stand on if they argued from a technical standpoint so they threw a hail mary pass saying it was sexism to appeal to the 2 women on the 5 person panel and then they hoped that just 1 of the men would be swayed. Heard is a C level actress and is a side character in DCs franchise and they're only thinking about replacing her after damning evidence surfaced. It's ridiculous. No it works as an entrance too, they swipe their cards and it unlocks it, why would you design it to work as an entrance with a card reader instead of installing a cheaper exit only turnstyle? That said he reached the gate first and she should have let him out before tapping her card and plowing through him.

It's both, those turnstyles will only unlock to enter if you swipe your card, they will freely turn to let people exit though, he reached the gate first etiquette is to let people out first before entering.

They do have to drink in an awkward stance that does leave them vulnerable to cope they try to drink in groups and take turns so one is always standing guard. Other animals tend to drink with them for that reason because they don't have to look out for themselves.
