1	Marriage simply isn't worth the risk anymore The core issue is that marriage is cheaper than an equivalent private contract in addition to added tax incentives. I remember reading about a gay couple a few months back that attempted to arrange a private contract equivalent to a marriage contract and ended up paying thousands of dollars in fees. If the process of forming such an agreement were simplified, a marriage could be negotiated just like any other contract, rather than trying to fit every relationship into one-size-fits-all guideline…	/r/MensRights	08/04/13 04:43 AM
1	Where is the middle ground? Through that whole list they kept listing "Acceptable uses", and I kept thinking "Acceptable to whom and why should I care?", because I don't think that there's significant overlap between people who are offended by the word idiot and people whose opinions I care about. And I still maintain that "Has intellectual disabilities" sounds at least as insulting as any other way of phrasing it. 1	Where is the middle ground? I only ever responded to one post on SRS a while back. Someone said something to the effect that "anyone who imagines having sex with some one has raped them with their mind", to which I responded "Three cheers for thought crime?". 1	Applying to colleges, and (obviously) need financial aid. This was fun... I would be willing to fight in the event of a war I fully supported, especially if the US were actually in real danger of invasion. But if I were drafted or were in the military while a draft was called, I would murder as many of my commanding officers as possible until I myself was killed. I'd fight to protect freedom.
