Deleted in 2018 and never looked back. Couldn’t be happier away from the endless scrolling and narcissistic rabbit holes I found myself in. My GF now is on it frequently and I can’t help but cringe on what’s on her timeline.

Thanks for this. It makes a lot of sense. I’ve had problems finding that balance of a good listener vs making my intentions clear. Your response provided some clarity. The second paragraph is on point and way too real for me. Just last week a girl I know got laid off suddenly and she was clearly upset. Great post. Very true and unfortunately very common. Can you speak further on empathy? How do you express it without becoming a friend? What are some good questions to ask when a girl is sharing her feelings? What should be a guy’s mindset when expressing empathy?
