Why do you value physical attractiveness in women? I don't think this is something you could explain our justify in a meaningful way.

Do you think that maybe the way you ask has anything to do with the equation? Your online profile? This isn't enough information.

Should be called "19 things guys do which they'd be surprised to know I find hot"

Go to a bar before it fills up and make it your goal to chat with everyone there (men and women). You can even tell them you just moved in and how you're trying to make friends, it's a great excuse for being there alone. If you enjoy hanging out with them, tell them that! And ask them if they're doing anything later on in the week, and if you could join? It's important to leave the conversation before it get's stale when you don't know the people you're talking to, if you don't have that instinc…

You sound bitter dude, and she shouldn't become able to inspire that emotion in you for a long time. If she doesn't want anything, it's okay. Making it a big deal will only make things worse.

So is your main problem to do with getting the date after the number? To start parties, you need a core group of friends that you know will be there even if nobody else shows up. Even if nobody show's up you can still have a good time, or go somewhere else. Maybe this means making more/closer friends, which is probably as important in college as getting laid anyway.

I'm seeing an african girl right now; she has told me this at least 20 times, complaining about the random non-african guys that hit on her. I think that being interested in the culture will ultimately be a plus, if you don't come on too strong about it and let her discover it about you.

In India it's the left hand that's typically the "unclean hand." But no Indian could reasonably disqualify a white person for doing that in the beginning, especially if this is in the US. Shit test?

I wouldn't bring it up personally, but if they did I would open with "so aren't you curious what the stuff I read was about?" The guy who first told me about "The Game" borrowed it from his friend. His friend would leave it out on the table sometimes, in order to start conversations with girls about it. Apparently it worked!

I agree - it'd be important to use a joky enough tone if you're saying something like that.

Actually the person I would most recommend watching for talking about complicated shit and making it sound cool is Niel DeGrasse Tyson. Or Richard Feynman.

So you're saying you hate texting, but you had literally not even done it enough to know that your phone couldn't text? You need to give it a real chance, because although it sucks and has huge limitations, it's the best way to go from number to date by far!

I'm not in college but I do a lot of work in coffee shops for this reason, and also because I find that having people watching me makes me work more efficiently. Just take a break every now and then to say hi to someone (instead of going on reddit). One tip is that if someone see's you've been working hard, it's kind of disarming - they know you're there for work and just taking a break to talk to them.

I like to kill two birds with one stone, and do something else while I practice. Why study alone when you can study with that cute any girl in class? Even retarded questions may help you understand the subject better. Work in public places, where you can take breaks to talk to random people Don't bother too much with studying this shit - most of it won't work for you anyway. In field is the only way you can find out what works for you.

Yeah but she told me you have a tiny dick, so she left Yup, she's moved on to brigher and better pastures! But seriously puaCurveBall is right - when someone says something outrageous like that they're only making themselves look bad - you can stay alpha by simply not reacting.

I may be kind of invested in Andrea, but I don't mind becoming friends also. Hmm, I'll think about the potential for being a dick. I've been trying to put a little kino into my conversations with even my male friends - I think that human contact when you're talking to someone makes you feel a little more comfortable.

I have to say that I really love that women are posting here more often - I agree that there is a fair amount of stupid advice dispensed here (though I have limited experience myself) and I think you guys can help call it out. That said, I'd like to explain my reason for taking the "if you want to learn how to fish" advice somewhat seriously, and filtering what you have to say just as I filter the things men post on Seddit. Humans are notoriously bad at perdicting our future emotional states. Th…

Obviously depends how much work you want to put into it. I like to keep a moderately stocked bar to make cocktails of the older variety because I like them more than for women, so the alcohols I keep are: gin (bombay sapphire level) => gin n tonic, martini, tom collins, gimlet bourbon (makers mark) => manhattan or whisky sour vodka (smirnoff's ok) => vodka tonic, cosmopolitan, kamikazi shots, vodka martini rum => daiquiri - I don't really keep rum actually And the accoutrements you'll need: verm…

So you went a little overboard - that's natural when you're learning how to calibrate a skill. To recover from this I'd probably try something CRAZY: apologizing. Just say that you can sometimes be a little insensitive when joking around, and you're working on it, at least if that's true, but keep in mind that this one incident isn't a big deal even if she blows you out. If she stays angry after an apology I would not bother.

From the IDF's own website - which is cited in the wiki article as a source: Women also make up 3% of the IDF's combat soldiers and 15% of technical personnel. http://www.idf.il/1086-14000-EN/Dover.aspx Admittedly not a lot, but still.

Care to give any evidence to support that claim? When I hear soldiers/military leaders complaining I'll start paying attention. I'm not convinced that you or the author of this article is qualified to make these statements which contradict the success the Israeli Defense Force has had with women in combat roles: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women_in_the_Israel_Defense_Forces

This guy admits he hasn't served in the military, who the hell is he to say women in combat "profanes something sacred?" Played too much Call of Duty? If anything red pillers should be thankful that women are trying to take up one of man's traditional burdens in society. If this experiment fails it was still worth a shot.

If you think of negging as more of playful teasing then it's really not that bad to be called out on. "Ooh, someone's a little insecure about her handbag" Most seduction terminology has equivalent real world words kino = touching neg = teasing HB[0-10] = girl / cute girl / super cute girl

Exactly - this can really be a win win relationship. If you're hanging out with your friend that's a girl it becomes SO easy to go talk to other groups of girls, especially if she's kind of hot.

I talk about the things that were the most exciting to me when I learned them, such as the existence of multiple types of infinity (nobody believes me when I tell them this, but I explain what I mean and a very basic outline of the proof). I talk about how math is more than numbers - to me includes all of the information you you can really abstract from the world. I talk about how since I know math I could go back to greek times and blow the minds of their greatest thinkers, because math is the …

Great advice on number 2. Just because your interests are nerdy doesn't mean there are things about them that you can't share with anyone. One of the things I talk to girls about math, because it's something I'm super interested in, and I emphasize parts of it that are accessible. Sure, some girls get turned off, but who cares? As if I would fuck a girl who can't get interested in math!

Awesome, loved the TLDR at the end as well. Basically you just joked around with her and didn't put her on a pedistal. You didn't chase too hard but completely destroyed shit tests by not giving a shit about them... Definitely taking some stuff from this.

She clearly wants to practice some more with you, so maybe seddit is not the best place to learn this :) I would try to temper your eagerness to please with having fun and basking in the glory every once in a while. Yeah, so you might need some kissing lessons - it's not a deal breaker and it sounds like she might even think it's cute! You have no reason to feel bad or embarassed - you're cool despite your perceived 'flaws'. PS. No shame with asking her how she likes things. I like to do it afte…

What's helped me with putting girls on pedistals? Hooking up with less hot girls, who I already don't put on a pedistal, and trying to treat hotter girls the same way.

/r/seduction25/03/13 10:56 PM

Escalate the situation, but in a sexual way not in an "agree and amplify" way. Talk about the things you like about titties, preference in nipples, opinions on small breasts? Ass vs boobs? So many things to talk about, and once you're talking about sex for a little while, it's all over. Why do you keep being turned on buried, when she's probably trying to turn you on by talking about getting with other girls?

Definitely going to try this key lock technique with the (thanks partially to afc texting skills) only girl I'm still messaging from the past week or so. I like the idea of adding value with texts - I think before I was rushing in too much for setting up the date.

Maybe they feel intimidated by all the stuff that you're saying. I've noticed on a date last saturday when I was feeling really in state and dominant in the conversation that I later have difficulty getting her to open up. Unfortunately I think she might have felt like she didn't have much to offer in the conversation. For what it's worth I would try just letting the silence build up more after you've already shown her you're funny/initiated kino. Once you've hooked her, let her hook you. But I …

Did you read TofuTofu's last field report? It had a kind of similar situation: The girl smiles and starts talking when the two guys in the back start AMOGing from peanut gallery. "Come here little girl, I have candy in my van outside," they say mockingly. Now, most guys would be intimidated by such blatant attempts at AMOGing and either shirk away or strike back but I'm not most guys. I smile and completely ignore their comment and invite them into the conversation. "Seriously, did you know thes…

I find that being quiet can actually work out for me quite well if I am actually curious about the girl I'm talking to. A lot of girls will be all too happy if you let them drone on about themselves all night, the trick is to find interesting things about them to make them talk about (which you do by actually paying attention to the things they're saying)! It's kind of a win-win when you meet someone who will fill the silence with bullshit that you can just filter out and respond to as you like;…

I would just pull a funny dance move involving pelvic thrusting (fuck you in dance talk) Just like any other shit test, you pass it by not caring and assuming she's just teasing. Tease her back! Obviously the worst shit tests are the ones that are true, but owning your flaws, not caring, and still being confident is a big DHV. Also, I wouldn't call her out on being a worse dancer if she's clearly a better dancer than you, but at least it can show that her joke didn't affect your frame.
/r/seduction18/03/13 05:26 PM

yeah, for me it's like find parts of yourself appropriate to the situation that you can share with people instead of making it up as you go. Definitely don't talk about needing to get laid, but do orient the conversation to things you find interesting instead of pretending to find boring things interesting.

Take it easy dude, the fact that you're thinking about it and trying to improve yourself is more important than the outcome in the beginning, and you'll be fine. It could be something simple, like that the girls have seen you being rejected in the past 5 minutes. Try taking breaks between approaches, and starting to talk to guys in between. That way it looks to everyone like you're just out making friends with people, and if you get rejected by a girl or group of girls in your quest who cares? G…

only sensible advice here - don't date your roommate! She's coming towards you as a shield because she doesn't want the guy to hit on her, not because she wants to hit on you, and she probably doesn't want to lose that.

This is one of the best qualities people can have! Definitely keep doing it, but maybe change tactics. One easy way you can do something nice for someone without them feeling in any way like they are using you is to think of a genuine compliment for them. If you think for a few minutes and find something you actually like/appreciate about them, and tell them, it will definitely make them happy. It doesn't cost you much time at all, and will probably make you a nicer person anyway. It can feel aw…

If you've been working there for a while and she already knows you it's probably too late for her. Meeting the right person is a numbers game, try to find someone else!

Go for more of a discreet FWB sort of thing, if you think you feel mature enough and she's nice. It would be kind of weird to actually date someone that much older when you're so young. To demonstrate such maturity you could just ask her directly if you can ever get a chance to see her alone - she'd probably be a lot more cool with that than a girl your age.
/r/seduction20/02/13 06:09 PM

If you otherwise think she's interested treat "I would never go with YOU" as a joke.

I'm not sure what's controversial about saying it's easier for women not to objectify themselves than for men not to objectifying. Obviously one of the main goals of game is to think of every person as a normal person, but there will always be little bits of body language / inflection you might not identify correctly because you're objectifying, or trying too hard not to objectify.

I think you have some great points and criticisms of seddit here, but to imagine that these are the reasons people don't like it is to assume most of reddit knows more than they do about the types of things posted here.

I've wondered this myself. I think the vast majority of people who hate on seddit have never read anything on seddit, so their opinions don't reflect the community here but rather their impressions of pick up in general. They characterize pick up as the use of gimmicks and lines, lying to women, and generally not being yourself for the sole purpose of getting laid. After reading a bestof post to /r/socialskills, I asked them what they thought of seddit. Only got two responses, but you can see a …

My default is the basic two-step. You don't need to go crazy on the dance floor, just concentrate on enjoying the music and feeling good. The most important thing, however, is to SMILE - even a good dancer will look douchy if he looks like he's taking himself seriously.
/r/seduction26/11/12 10:43 AM

Excellent distinction - I agree. It's ok as long as it's clear it's a joke and doesn't reflect some inner insecurity.
