You got guts, kid. I don’t know you, I don’t think you’re a loser though. I think it’s easy to overthink your way into thinking less about yourself. I know it’s hard to turn your brain off sometimes. I think meditation would do wonders for you if you don’t already practice it, just being at peace, observing your thoughts, and letting yourself dismiss them for five minutes a day can really help you hit the reset button

You’re way overthinking this. It’s not a math problem. Be yourself, project positive energy. Confidence is something you CAN acquire by taking baby steps. Just get out there and make yourself available. Compliment people you’re not sexually attracted to just to practice and make someone feel better about themselves. I mean it sounds like we have very different cultures at our workplaces, I’d straight up get fired for that, and besides if things went south with a girl I was working with, I’d be stuck with her still being around every day, it would be a total nightmare, but you do you.
