I'd be happy if the MTA found women deliberately sitting in the aisle seat and putting their purse on the window seat next to them - especially on a bus they know is going to be crowded - half as important as the apocalyptic issue of men absentmindedly sitting comfortably.

Agreed. Sometimes things are good, other times they're not. Look at it this way. If you want to be a marathon runner, fake being one by living the way (eating, exercising, and building up your run time) a marathon runner would. Sooner or later...

Hmm... I don't quite agree with the wording of this. If you change your behavior, the rest will follow. Too many people sit around waiting until they "feel like" they have the confidence or ambition to do something. "Fake it until you make it" works for a lot of people.

There is a difference between criticizing immigrants, and saying that the United States cannot logistically handle an influx of immigrants at the moment. Trying to lump together and insult anyone trying to make that point doesn't change its validity.

But why should legal immigration be easy? Every nation has an obligation to its taxpayers to give them the best life possible. If there is low gainful employment in the US, and the cost of social services and education are rising, then why should the government take in more immigrants at all? This isn't a racist or xenophobic view, just a logistical one.

It seems the Empire propaganda machine has rewritten history, so it's possible the bad guy doesn't know that. Also, I've never bought Lucas's lightswitch "good guy / bad guy" bipolar Katie Perry / Jack Chick view. Vader was a bad guy who chose the life of his son over a guy who had treated him like a dog, and had just ordered him executed for the sake of upgrading. A lot of murderers experience remorse on their deathbeds, that doesn't make them suddenly good guys.
