I think the fashion, makeup and fitness advice from women's magazines are coming from women writers, but the male patriarchy gets the blame somehow for this. I have noticed that a lot of women when they are amongst themselves or on social media don't seem to repeat what these magazines are saying, but seem to give compliments that I don't believe are entirely sincere. Does the lady who tells her very overweight friend, thats she's beautiful the way she is, truly wish to be beautiful like her? I …

I thought women were nice to other woman in public when they don't see them as competition. They can be jealous as fuck and vicious towards each other in private. If a woman sees a skinny blonde with a big rack walk into the room getting lots of male attention. She might turn towards her group of friends, or boyfriend and say something disparaging. This might not be the case if a woman feels she is in the same league and not a threat. Women can easily tell you what qualities are desirable in a m…

My theory is that women want a man that will keep them safe. This implies they want a man who is capabale of being violent in order to protect her. Being violent or aggressive is a sign that you are a bad boy.

Is there much difference between a poor woman who uses sex to get access to a mans resources and a poor woman who sleeps with a man because she is a dependent on his finances. Can the woman be the predator...ie taking advantage of a man...and then later become the victim...a dependant being used for sex. Not here to argue, genuinely curious on your perspective.

Horses are expensive to maintain and require lots of physical work which is often done by men (bucking hay, cleaning stalls etc.). Most men who have them usually have them as a work animal which provides them a living, rather than as a hobby.

Yes feminism taught women that they weren't valuable if they wanted to stay at home and raise their children. Being a full time mother is being at the bottom as you put it...and you are off by a couple of decades. Their happiness peaked in the 70's.

The happiness gap between the sexes has grown larger, not smaller since the '70s. So it's not everyone, it's specifically women that have become way more miserable.

It hasn't even made women happier. " The paradox of declining female happiness " Women are more miserable relative to men since the 1970's despite increases in standards of living and more opportunities.

Let us vacuum live babies out of the womb, because those who find that morally abhorrent don't really care about children. Stop controlling women? It's about the loss of life, so stop making it about you. Make better life choices, and if you create life don't kill it to avoid responsibility.

Feminism lies to women and convinces them that they are always the victim.

Id agree with that, but unless we are talking about rape it is the female who decides when to initiate sex. She chooses which male's genes and traits get passed down. If I had to guess that is why men are generally taller and stronger then women, simply because women prefer taller and stronger men. Tallness and strength may be indicaters of healthy genes. I am a male and don't pretend to even fathom the female mind, but perhaps this peacocking they do is to increase the size of the pool of peopl…

It is women that are the gatekeepers of sex, not men; so sexual selection affects men. Look at birds and the sexual dimorphism between the sexes. The male bird will be brightly colored because the female chooses that trait, while the female will likely have coloring to camoflauge her so it is survival that determines her appearance.

So going long with your comments on sexual selection and females being the gatekeepers of sex... would that explain why men are generally much more taller and stronger than women, because women are selecting those traits?

It sounds like self flattery that a woman would say to herself to explain away why men generally avoid long term relationships with her. It's not because I'm irritating, boring, or unattractive, it must be because I'm so smart. Yeah that's the ticket!

I've known several women like this. They really think they want things, until they get it. Honesty, until it makes them uncomfortable. Responsibility until there is blame. Open emotions from their male partner until they realize they need you to be emotionally strong so you can be their support.

I haven't visited that sub, and I'm not interested in the gender wars on this issue. It was more of an observation and a curiosity about the psychology behind when and why men and women include themselves in photos. It's obviously for attention seeking but beyond that I don't understand it. Perhaps men do it because back in the hunter gatherer days, the best hunters were respected since they brought back the most food to their tribe. Maybe women include themselves in attractive ways to show they…

The only time a man wants to be included in something that he is taking a picture of; is when he has hunted something or caught a fish. Perhaps this is because they want to show proof that they were the ones to catch/kill it? IDK to be honest.

Look up divorce rates for lesbians versus gay men. They are almost always about twice as higher no matter which country.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divorce\_of\_same-sex\_couples

Feminine, talented and intelligent but but with a dose of humility. Knows that a man sometimes wants to be alone and respects that.

Obviously not, which is why a woman's strategy to not care for the children of a rapist and pass his genes on is to choose a sexual partner who is strong protector.

I believe women have sexually selected certain traits that men in general have. Traits such as being stronger and taller, while also being a provider and protector. Women have literally shaped men, while feminists complain about the end result.

I always assumed it was popular fantasy with some women was because they wanted to feel that they were completely irresistible to men's sexual urges. They want to feel desired, not raped.

I think women need their male partners to be an emotional anchor. Men are supposed to be the shoulder to cry on, the one to assure them that things will be alright. Its a double standard sure, but if you appear emotionally unstable then they don't see you as a solid support which they can lean upon. You are more likely to hear Man up! from them or have a women explain to you how she thinks her problems are much more difficult then get sympathy or a solution.

If that's true, then why are divorce rates for lesbians higher than gay men in virtually every country that allows gay marriage. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divorce_of_same-sex_couples

Men should learn to fix their own issues instead of just being envious of the so called "Sisterhood" It's not envy it's just tiring hearing the perpetual victimhood bullshit being peddled by first world feminists. Men and women are different and often times so are their difficulties and struggles. But you are right in one way, men aren't organized in society, because the patriarchy is a fucking myth made up by first world feminists pretending to be oppressed.

This. Women are rarely good at helping men resolve their issues. We have to be the shoulder that gets cried on, and seen as a unmoveable support to our partners. So we go to male friends for support, and thats usually just to share our bad experiences with them.
