Can you not see women having the same amount of legal representation as men is NOT equality???? I'm not positive what you're saying, but women having equal legal representation with men is equality.

Of course I see the difference: it’s the meaning of OP’s post. I am not even denying a double standard exists in such situations. I am saying the stories in OP’s post are different in more ways than simply being the man vs the woman. Also, it does not say she is making enough money to pay off the debt but chooses not to. You’re disagreeing without knowing the details. I carefully looked at this objectively and pointed out a flaw even though it doesn’t follow the narrative of this subreddit.

What are you talking about??? He did not say his debt was “mostly” student loan debt. He said it was student loan and credit card debt. Then he admitted to not being a careful spender. It says absolutely nothing about maternity leave. Are you thinking of a different post?

To be fair the situations are similar, but not equal. It was asked from different perspectives: the person who has the money versus the person wanting the money. In the example on the right the person wanting the money has an admitted, systemic spending problem, versus somebody who had student loan debt.

It would be okay if the population stayed constant. The whites aren’t “being replaced” by other races, they’re just not growing in number like most other races.

Typically adults choose child victims that are easily manipulated and too scared to come forward to an adult who can help. The whole idea of abusing the hot alpha is something unsympathetic people say to portray the rape as less of a big deal than when an adult male abuses a minor female. Also, saying “fucking” a kid instead of “raping” a kid is just like when an article fails to call abuse what it is. These teachers aren’t just “having sex” or “fucking,” they’re raping.
/r/PussyPassDenied23/08/19 11:58 AM

The news doesn’t show the victims. Are you basing this on anecdotal experience?

I am so glad you were able to talk to him without her there. Some kids don’t have anywhere they can go and feel safe. As a coach, teacher, or any supervising adult, you have a chance to give a safe place to a kid. Sometimes it’s their only safe place and you don’t even realize it.

Emotionally I’m inclined to agree with the death penalty for heinous crimes less than murder. However, there is little to no incentive for the person to leave their victim alive if they know they’re facing the death penalty anyway. In fact, the reasonable thing to do would be to kill the victim so they could not testify.

The jury found her guilty of several things, but not torture. Defense attorney is also saying she is motivated to be with her kids which she should not have custody of and only should have nothing but supervised visitation rights with.

What’s the story about sexual misconduct? Her boyfriend raping her is the only story I can find on google.

Thank you for your well thought out reply. I agree I agree, but keeping her from raping another child seems like a good reason to spend money. Same as #2. Also you could put her on a prison labor force. That’s an interesting fact. I wasn’t saying to keep her in to deter crime, but it’s good to know a high chance of getting caught is a stronger deterrent.

...rapists rape in prison all the time, so letting them out of prison doesn't change their chances. She raped a 13 year old. For child rapists it does decrease their chances.

I read it. But there are snipers who would do the same with their spouses and could still defend them against 3 armed attackers. Vulnerability does not negate your power or strength in other areas.

She seems like a sociopath. She listed only surface level reasons for liking him in the first place: none of them were about qualities like kindness, honesty, etc. I hope she breaks up with him for his sake. He’s much better off with a loving person.

She was on drugs or having a psychotic break. They should’ve immediately detained her. I can’t blame him for attacking her but I also have to say that it was not self defense to approach her after she had walked away.

I agree people are not object lessons and you shouldn’t get extra punishment on top of what you deserve just to set an example. But we don’t need to know anything about her life. It doesn’t matter if she helps people. I don’t understand why you’re automatically siding with somebody who committed sexual assault and laughed about it. We don’t know about his life either. Maybe his mom molested him growing up. It’s all outside of what she did. If somebody grabbed your mom or sister by the vagina I’m…

No I’m being serious. Am I reading this wrong? I read this to mean there’s a mental health problem which causes one parent to leave the kid: be an absent parent. How was that a men’s rights issue?

I would assume the parent with the disease is the one who leaves. If somebody is leaving their kids voluntarily it is different than losing a custody battle. What does this have to do with men’s rights?
