I wouldn't put LSD down or even say one psychedelic is better than another for introspection and self-analysis. Almost all of these types of effects are subjective and vary a lot depending on the user and a multitude of other factors. For example, I myself find Psilocybin a lot more 'confusing' or 'stoning' which makes it harder to focus on things (most likely due to the increased nausea I experience from shrooms compared to acid). Personally, I prefer LSD and its analogs for introspection. To m…

You just regurgitated what my problem is in your own words dude. I can kind of understand why they don't show up or are late. Maybe I wasn't clear. Im just looking for advice on what to do to in order to make myself less needy and how I can stop feeling like I've lost out when someone flakes me off. To me, someone saying "you need to work on your social skills" is like saying "don't be depressed" to someone with depression. Theres nothing from advice like that one can utilize.

I do meditate and I do enjoy being by myself and have no problems when DO end up being by myself if something like this happens. I feel I just need to do what your second point talked about: Plan things myself and invite others. Thanks man!

Alright cool, thanks for the reply. This makes me feel less stressed about it haha. Usually I do have stuff planned to do on my own so I am fine most of the time, but sometimes the idea of it escapes me and such. Ill keep this in mind for now on and always have a productive backup plan for when/if this bs happens again.

Ahh, I see. I think this is where i'm messing up. I usually try to stay away from my phone when talking to people (since I notice that a lot of people seem to get stuck in their phone instead of socializing), but using it like this seems like a really good idea. I'll give it a whirl this weekend and see if it helps! Thanks a lot for the advice! The only thing I don't really get is the whole 'teasing' thing. I understand the concept, but how do I find out what sort of things I should 'tease' the …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
