There is zero way to know all sides of the story. It is entirely possible the boyfriend was abusive and or controlling. You can have whatever option you want on cheating, but there is no way of knowing if the boyfriend was a piece of shit. Also in my (albeit limited) experience people who air personal matters on social media are no angels.

It’s all gesture politics. The last time the US had a draft it was so unpopular you had like a dozen active insurgences in the USA and like multiple bombings a week. Beside the all volunteer force is a great tool for silencing dissent. I’ve heard many times any opposition from military members get shut down with saying “Well, it’s what you signed up for”

It’s wasn’t until 2016 that women were allowed to choose any role they wanted to pursue in the USA military and their was a ban on women in direct combat roles until 2013.

Y’all realize this is all part of the patriarchy right? Men are expected to be aggressive and masculine leading to men tending to be the perpetrators of or respond with violence. Most physical work isn’t afforded to women, I worked in warehousing and food production. 99% of the workers were men.
