RP Advice on Attraction/ConversationWell for me, if I was that attracted to someone I’d probably be down to marry them at some point lol. But like you said, you’re gonna have to decide for yourself | /r/RPChristians | 01/12/20 06:41 AM
RP Advice on Attraction/ConversationThat’s what I think. I’ve been out with girls that I was like “dang I want to kiss her sooo bad” and then I’d also gone out with girls I was kinda like “eh, I don’t really feel much of anything”. I just think that God have us our feelings of attraction for a reason. | /r/RPChristians | 01/12/20 12:44 AM
RP Advice on Attraction/ConversationTrust me I know exactly what you’re talking about | /r/RPChristians | 01/12/20 12:42 AM
RP Advice on Attraction/ConversationWell, I believe at some point you have to take a step back and evaluate your own standards. First and foremost, lots of guys and girls are pretty delusional about who they can pull. Plus, with the rampant porn consumption going on these days, many (primarily guys) I believe develop unattainable standards. | /r/RPChristians | 30/11/20 07:16 AM

RP Advice on Attraction/ConversationI believe a lot. Otherwise just marry a girl that you find amazing personality wise. The reason that Paul tells us to marry is essentially if we can’t handle being alone, and dealing with lust, etc. This suggests to me that a huge reason that determines whether marriage is the right option for us is that attraction/infatuation factor. I personally have a very active social life and plenty of friends, but I long for a wife because there’s a level of intimacy that marriage and all the things it en… | /r/RPChristians | 29/11/20 05:39 AM
| -1 | RP Advice on Attraction/ConversationLove is a choice, attraction and infatuation are different. God gave us those feelings for a reason. I love my best friends like brothers and sisters, but I don’t marry them because, among other reasons, I’m not attracted to them. | /r/RPChristians | 29/11/20 04:10 AM |
RP Advice on Attraction/ConversationI’ve definitely been in situations similar to this one. I know it’s super hard to break off a relationship, particularly one where the significant other agrees with you on so many fronts. I would recommend that you ask yourself a few different questions. Are you comfortable marrying this girl and knowing that you will never have sex/be intimate with anyone other than her? If you knew that she felt the way you’re saying you feel about her, would you want to marry her? Would she still want to marr… | /r/RPChristians | 29/11/20 04:03 AM

How to Stop Watching Porn (A Christian Perspective)Hey man!! It’s awesome that you shared your story! I enjoyed reading it! I go through phases as far as feeling lustful looking at girls in public. I only wish I had an outlet. I don’t have any experience in this (being unmarried and a virgin). But I would say one of the greatest weapons you have at your disposal is sex with your wife. I took this from an article. Cor 7:5 (NKJ) Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time... 1Cor 7:5 (Wey) Do not refuse one another, unless perhaps it… | /r/RPChristians | 07/10/20 05:53 PM
How to Stop Watching Porn (A Christian Perspective)I stopped for roughly 3 or 4 months at about the start of the year, had a brief relapse where I struggled on and off again for 3 or 4 weeks and then I feel like I’ve really kicked it this time! It’s always something I have to watch out for though! I can’t be complacent and let my guard down! | /r/RPChristians | 04/10/20 04:14 AM
How to Stop Watching Porn (A Christian Perspective)Definitely I try my best with all of these things! As far as Physically, I'm a former college basketball player, and I play a LOT of basketball, as well as lift a LOT. So I don't ever feel like physically I'm putting myself in temptation's way. Emotionally for the most part I'm doing pretty well, though I will occasionally go through a phase where I deal with anxiety (Those are usually the times that the temptation is at its worst, although I can get over it pretty easily these days). Faith wise… | /r/RPChristians | 03/10/20 08:11 PM
