Honestly I'm okay with this depiction. I've read stories of men that got divorced rape and would have to sell off possessions or live in their van and they report being happier that way. I would argue that people may use shaming tactics to try and discourage this lifestyle but it may be the most free way to live. You live for yourself and you don't have to own nice things in order to impress a woman or anyone for that matter. Surely that's the definition of a man going his own way

I think there may be some truth in this and perhaps ever more so over the next two decades. Woman are being told to be career women and how "the future is female" and be "strong independent women". What if a woman wants to go against the grain and just be a stay at home partner and maybe doesn't even want a career? I can't remember the source so take this with a pinch of salt but according to one study the majority of women said that they didn't want to be strong independent career women but fel…

Wouldn't work. For every man that isn't chasing tail there's one that thinks "great, I have better odds at standing out". Also, from a moral standpoint women shouldn't be punished for being woman just as men shouldn't be punished for simply being men. Yes the narcissistic self-absorbed nature that comes with women on social media is off putting but it's just a way of life for most at this point.

Okay, so awhile back I was talking to this lady on Tinder. I added her on Snapchat and it turns out she sells her nudes and posts sneak peaks to her story. Fine, you do you. Anyway I didn't instantly remove her and I'd often see her story when going through my friends SC stories. She was selling the same old pictures cheaper and cheaper with each passing post and it got to a point where I think she was offering 30 pictures for $5. A "bulk bargain" according to her. The reason I tell this story i…

Hey, brother MGTOW is a tough path to go down. It can feel lonely and empty at times but can also be empowering and free. Some advice I would give is to first accept that you're not going to be happy, at least not 100 percent of the time anyway. Second, begin becoming the best version of yourself. Start by putting your room in order as per J.Peterson's advice and then move onto other things. Read, watch webinars and try get into a new hobby. Third, do away with any negative or hateful feelings y…

Don't get upset. The stats show that only the top 1 percent of men are successful on those apps. Remember women want to date up and in this case they're aiming for the darn moon. You're probably an average looking hard working guy with a lot to offer but the issue is that's not enough to stand out on these apps. The pandemic sucks and you just have to ride it out, brother

There's a few comments here that are saying to cut down on your carbs and that I agree with. It's funny that this question came up because I've been doing the same thing and I put myself on the Atkins/Keto diet which basically translates to meat, veg and fats only. This Is a question I've been asking myself for years. Currently, it would go to no one but I would plan on leaving it to nieces and nephews assuming I have any. No one wants children in my family so honestly it could just go to charity

No plans on marriage, children or otherwise. I am very independent and wish to remain that way so as you pointed out it's just a money thing
/r/MGTOW228/06/20 04:28 PM

I've crunched the numbers and could probably pay off a mortgage in 15 years but it would mean allocating money from my holiday fund / investment bonds / savings account. I wouldn't mind paying it off faster so long as it's a good investment and I can keep it in good condition on my own
/r/MGTOW228/06/20 04:27 PM

I see what you're saying in regards to renting. I would argue that while you are throwing money into a hole in both scenarios at least with renting the money is capped and risk limited. I do want my money to grow though, I just haven't decided where to allocate it

When I want someone out of my house I'll let them know. Usually it's because it's getting late and I want to go to sleep so I can hit them with the "thank you for coming over, I'm going to get some rest." This seems to work however, you want to get someone out midday. I suppose one could suggest using the phrase above but replacing 'rest' with something of your choosing. You could even pre-emptively tell them that they can come over for a few hours because you have stuff to do at X o'clock. Once…

I've been there, it's got to a point where I now negotiate my time with others. "Yeah I'll help out, but it'll cost you" Them: "I thought we were friends?" It's interesting to see how often people will play the friendship card when it benefits them only.

The gentlemen on this sub are more rational and engaging, in my opinion. You can quite often see members politely disagreeing or at least coming to some new consensus on a number of issues. There's a difference between being constructive in a dialog and simply attacking women outright.

I like some love songs, the book of love by Peter Gabriel is a personally favourite as I find it has a soothing melody. It's just an expression of ones self, the same with any other emotion. The only difference is since going MGTOW I'm desensitized to them. I can hear lyrics like "I love you and will do anything for you" and I can't help but think "well, I'm sure that's not entirely true, everyone has their limitations and that just doesn't sound like a very healthy thing in general". It's also …

Making lists Plan out your day and write everything you want to do down. Yes, everything. Some common things might include: Getting out of bed Making said bed Getting dressed taking out the rubbish walk the dog do the laundry It doesn't matter how small or insignificant you think the task is; WRITE IT DOWN. You need to understand that it's far too easy to waste a day in bed and so acknowledging something as basic as getting up is very important. Once you complete a task be sure you cross it off …

Kudos to you for structuring your post in such a well thought out and constructive manner. Yes, everyone experiences problems with the opposite sex and having a dialog is definately the more productive thing to do. A lot of men and fathers just want equal representation in and out of the courts and so talk is cheap to most but it might just get the ball rolling. I am sad to see the ever growing tension between the sexes and the fragmentation we see in traditional families. For the time being I s…

First time I've read something with similar viewpoints on the "king" thing. The problem I have is that women who refer to themselves as queen often come across as narcissistic and entitled and I don't want more people adopting that mindset. Unfortunately, you can't have it both ways. Being a pornstar was probably an excellent short-term strategy but not so good when considering the end game. Maybe she made a mistake when she was younger, which I empathize with, but you have to carry that with you. No amount of tears should change how people see you. A registered nurse is a much more respectable figure in the sense that it takes dedication, patience and empathy to do what they do. A pornstar on the other hand is arguably an easy car…

Let's assume the average man has this injection by the age of 18, that means it will last until you're 31. The age women begin to lose fertility and there's a change in the power dynamic. This, I imagine, is one of the reasons women are against the idea of male birth control

In my experience it's mostly men that get criticised for acting petty after being rejected by the opposite sex. We need to start holding women to the same standard as right now if a women is rejected she will argue that the "Guy is gay" or "he's not a real man and he can't handle me meh-meh-meh". You, regardless of sex, are not entitled to the love and attention of anyone so stop acting like the world owes you something.

I believe Jordan Peterson said something along the lines of "we see a trend among female doctors where the more females you have the more doctors you need." Essentially, women want to work fewer hours because of family and children so more are needed.

Social media is a serious addition, whenever we get a message, like or an upvote we get a hit of sweet dopamine. In moderation this isn't a bad thing but when you become dependent on it you start having serious problems, even more so once you become addicted and then take away those dopamine hits. The way i see it, this girl is no better than a junkie trying to get her next fix and she is experiencing serious withdrawal symptoms in this video.

Bags; plural. She wanted me to carry all three and the meal was to say thank you because I took time out of my schedule to help her at home. Regardless of your take on the above I'd argue that it wasn't my responsibility, I didn't spend £100-200 on crap.

I know someone that was having relationship issues with her partner. One day she told me, in confidence, that she would be happy if she fell pregnant just to spite him because he made it very clear he didn't want a child. Guess which couple is separated and have a kid? Reading that back it sounds too messed up to be real so I hope you can take my word on it. Nobody, male or female, should have the tenacity to use children as pawns.

Ever heard of the fable involving the scorpion and the frog? Basically, the scorpion asks the frog to help him cross a river. Worried that the scorpion will sting him the frog is reluctant to help but ultimately decides to go against his better judgement. The scorpion hops onto the frog's back and they begin to swim across the river. Half way across, the scorpion sinks his stinger into the frog and they begin to drown. With his final breath the frog asks "why would you do this?" Whereupon the sc…

Just give comedic answers to everything serious. Some examples I use: Q: "What do you do for a living?" A: "I'm a spice salesman." or "I work in the circus." Q: "What are you aspirations?" A: "To become the first cowboy space ninja." Q: "What are your hobbies?" A: "I collect garden gnomes." Usually, they'll tell you to stop kidding around but if you stick to your guns they just shrug you off because they can't get valuable information out of you.

Dating apps in general seem superficial; we judge one another on appearance alone. Perhaps I'm speaking for myself when I say people have more to offer than looks alone, or maybe that's just what ugly people say and in which case, I am fucked. Now the hags we see in this video are doing what most users do and there's nothing necessarily wrong with that. On some level I imagine we can all relate to being visually judgemental; perhaps when looking at pictures of our younger selves and critiquing o…

Hey brother, "I've never hung out with a guy that hasn't hit on me" I find this hard to believe especially if she's in her forties. Is it possible she was just adding that to perhaps justify her asking whether or not you're gay? We do after all live in a PC world now where asking such questions off the bat might be considered "insensitive" or "offensive". I'm only pushing this as a possibility, I would assume she's gauging you though. Maybe she wants you to fuck her or maybe she wants to manipul…
