It doesn't matter what job you have, you answer to someone. Even CEO has to answer to shareholders. I work in IT. I am the gate keeper between someone able to do their job or not. My job is extremely important. You can internalize this with any job. As long as you internalize this and exude the resulting confidence, getting women should be no issue.

Hold her to a higher standard, and then just call her on it when she doesn't meet expectation. For example, when she says "I wanted to do X but didn't because....." I ALWAYS respond with "sounds like an excuse to me ..." Insert sly grin. It lets them know that you aren't easily impressed and they'll have to try harder.
