Yes I think they are. But sending a woman to the front lines to fight it would be nuts in most cases. You would spend most of the soldiers time taking care of them.

If it was a silly war like Vietnam. I would say no way. But if it was ww2. Or fighting for our freedom. I would go too.

My annoyance is at the outlook upon men In OUR society. Not the women in another society. And I think that the argument is one of words. I would not want young women to go to war just because other women somewhere around the world are feeling entitled. And if it were my daughter I would say no way.

All men potential rapists. I remember that from 30 years ago. And I hated it then. Like every dog is a potential threat and every Jew is a potential cheapskate. Every black person a potential thief. Every woman a potential gold digger. Every Mexican is a … and onwards and onwards. Bigotry dressed up.

What a fucking insult. See how everything negative we do is because we are men and everything negative women do is because they are individuals. Fucking perfect example of bigotry.

Women in the dating years ( maybe longer for some) don’t see us as people. They see us as having a purpose for them. Looking for that perfect mate for themselves. But they forget we are doing the same thing. Not for sex but for emotional connection. Who would want a mate you can’t connect with?

I think he is good as in he has an extreme view which is part of a larger conversation. But I would not want to follow him and I hope that my son would never follow his views. His type of masculinity is definitely the wrong direction.

I think we may be living in a matriarchy in relation to the media. Not in everyday life. But media yes.

Ya why do you think there are so many trans people all of a sudden? Vagina gets you out of a lot of trouble.

I get what you are saying. Women working has really caused a lot of pain for the community. In the thread about tradcons there was this grandma talking about how women were softer and kinder and tuned in to the community and I think most of the younger men here don’t remember it and don’t know what we are missing. If a woman is good and kind and loves you and your kids. You are super lucky to have her stay home.

This is the comment of the day. It’s really what I miss. Women like that made life worth it and a lot of these guys don’t see it cause they think it’s freeloading. It’s sad in a real way. Having a good wife is wonderful. I am going to appreciate mine more after hearing this thread.

Sorry I don’t understand. Who? Could you elaborate please?

I heard the tradcon everyone in the media was talking about. She just seemed like she was better suited to home and family instead of career. And said so. I don’t know where people are getting all this political stuff from regarding her. Am I missing actual words they are saying?
/r/MensRights02/10/23 01:34 PM

Lol. Thanks. But I think it was true. I think women were kinder then.
/r/MensRights02/10/23 04:11 AM

Sorry to hear that really. Women were softer. And you kinda took care of them. And they took care of everyone. Older guys! Can you tell me. Am I remembering wrong? Cause that’s how I remember it.

I think it’s silly to say they are the same. Tradcons want to make a home and family happy including us. Feminists well they… come on you know it’s not the above. Besides I miss the women of old. I miss the kind and caring moms that were everywhere when I was a kid. If my mom wasn’t around. Some other mom would help me if I got hurt. And they did it with love. Honestly I think that’s what most of you guys here are really complaining about and with good reason. Does anyone else remember the way w…

Ugh. Women like men with good jobs and good temperament. They may have a slight preference either way on this issue depending. But who cares what they think? Really think about what I am saying. That goes for penis size too. Got a size queen who like it either circumcised or not and it’s not you? Try and find out fast and dump her. If women said they preferred blue eyed men who you sit around thinking “oh I wish I had blue eyes!” ? Nope.

Ya 32 was way harder than I thought it would be. 40 was a breeze compared to it. Dude the world is pretty hard on people. But like someone above said. Next decade. Heck even a few more years and things will become more clear.

If you don’t know why she did it then you should either ask the woman why she did it and tell her that it made you feel uncomfortable. Or go to the manager and tell him it made you uncomfortable. Is there something that happened at the other gym you wanna talk about?

Wow. I am sorry to hear what you have been through. This is why I think shaming men for not being “manly “ is so wrong. Not everyone is the typical “man”. And honestly it’s super unfair not to hear how you were feeling about it. Now if you are gay everyone would cut you a break. But het men are not allowed to be sensitive and that’s not fair.

I live in canada. It’s raining. There is no sun. The car is cool. And it’s big. So it’s impossible for her to get hurt. And it’s boring at home. She sleeps Too much and doesn’t get stimulation. It’s better she is out with me.

You are tiresome. You are defending her by saying I am acting like a woman. And frankly it’s a stupid thing to say. It’s illogical. And it’s the shit about us men that infuriates both men and women. You are not the kind of man I want to emulate. You are doing men harm by using shame to shut up other men. You have a right to disagree. Why do you think it was hot outside? Why are you trying to find something hidden underneath in my character to show that I am actually a terrible person? Would that be easier than saying “hey I am responsible for my feelings”?
/r/MensRights25/09/23 12:03 PM

I hear you and I thank you for your comment. I think one of the worst things about woke culture is the idea that one’s feelings are being confused with real circumstances. It was 11 am on a crowded street. I did not in fact cause her to FEEL a certain way. SHE felt that way. It was not actually something one could predict. And what I am saying is that it’s a fine line but there is a line. And it’s an important line. Men are not responsible for women’s feelings. It’s kind to care in obvious situa…

I think we are aware of the common wisdom. We are concerned about the messages that we are sending to boys about their gender which is a difficult matchup. You are going to be a man but they are not to be trusted. Therefore what you become is not to be trusted. Also there is this idea that women can be better trusted and I suppose to a degree that it’s true when it comes to sex. But not as true as people believe as there are many more female abusers than is out into the commonly held viewpoint I…

I see your point. Yes I am all hurt boo hoo. Except I am not. I don’t care. I was insulted not hurt. And bringing it to the men here was (to borrow an overused term from the women’s movement) really empowering. They really got it that it’s not my feelings that are important here. What’s important is the political messages that lead to the political environment that lead to her actions. Most people here get that. The constant messages that we are all potential rapists and potential misogynists. T…

I know. And some people don’t think that not being able to talk to 1/2 the population isn’t a big deal. But many of us think it is. Feminists said “the personal is the political “. Well maybe they are right. Maybe it should be for us as well.

I think this is the most reasonable sub I have been on. And it’s the only place men get only a little bit of roasting not a lot. Woman do alot more ya you suck cause you are a man. But gotta remember that most of those women are probably young and have not lived yet. Or feminists who think women are the most blessed thing on the planet.

Ummm you really don’t understand that the “man” attitude, that you think is “man” is fucking us and Our young sons. Think. Being “the man” means we dont bind together and think about what is fair. We just ignore everything that happens around us. And let feminists create our reality. You know what ? It’s been fucking 40 yrs of listening to women chip away at what your view of “man” is. And where r we? Hows it going? Your view of “man” is more lonely, anxious, pissed off and isolated. Isolated be…

Every one is creepy to someone. But the comment reminds me of what feminists teach. That underneath there is a shitty man hidden under there somewhere. Or for the woke set, there is a racist just waiting for a dog whistle.
/r/MensRights24/09/23 08:52 PM

I agree with that. But I guess it’s part of the issue huh? I am 57. Ya I am married. But if I wasn’t I would need a good conversation, connection and time to meet someone. Look I think when you reach almost 60. I am not in “the game”.
/r/MensRights24/09/23 08:49 PM

Hahaha that’s funny. You got a point. We had male spaces and clubs. And big leather bound chairs. And cigars. And I guess if we were working class we had the boys at the pub.

I didn’t want to treat her like a child. She is an adult. Should we treat her like that at 11 am on a busy street in a city where the people at the gym know me and my address and my wife? Sorry it’s time they grow up.

Dude. My kids are grown. I was stay at home dad for a few years. My daughter says I am still her friend’s favourite dad. And you know what? It’s weird now. I can’t talk to the kids in the courtyard. Some are so afraid of strangers that they stare up at me like a big monster. When I was 4 I had this neighbour. I used to run over to his and his wife’s house to see his fish and his bird. I was there sometimes by myself and him. Lots and lots of times. You know what happened? Nothing. I still miss t…

Yep. And that’s why men are lonely. They want to be our equals but we can’t make small talk without being a creep.
/r/MensRights24/09/23 04:10 PM
29

Yes and they are going to internalize it. I was talking to a young mother the other day. Telling her ok you are teaching your kids to be afraid of strangers right? Ya she said. We’ll be careful how you do it. Because you have to be careful not to make the boys ashamed of growing up as men. The thing everyone is teaching their kids to be afraid of. Before people jump on me. I am not saying strangers are not worrisome to kids. I am saying to her be careful in how you convey the information.
/r/MensRights24/09/23 03:58 PM

It is offensive. Can you imagine teaching people that it’s the worst thing to possibly be. But then telling them to not be offended when people think that’s what you are?

Pt 2. I want to say more one this. I am terrified of crazy women. I work with the public. And there are times when I have brought my wife or my daughter to be with me because I was afraid of what you talked about. One time I get called to job. And it turned out I was alone in the basement of an empty house with this very nice woman. I turned my phone on record for the whole time and put it in my pocket. Another time I literally gave this woman $100 worth of product because she was visibly mental…

Thanks. You see, the dudes that called me weak for this didn’t get just what you said. Exactly. Now I have to watch my “perv” back FOREVER with this woman. A few words to anyone else. The other women or the coaches and I persona non grata. And for what? Talking and walking the same direction ? This is why it’s a men’s issue. So basically men can’t talk to women on the street without risk. See this is why we need a few female allies here. Thanks.
/r/MensRights24/09/23 02:31 PM

Whoa. That sucks. I never thought about that. So your argument is that they are asking for equality but treating every interaction like it’s a power play? Hmmm food for thought.

10

What do you mean act like a man?
/r/MensRights24/09/23 01:55 PM

You guys are right. Women don’t want to accept aging and losing power thereby. And they go blame men for “being invisible “ and men for creating beauty myths because “men run the magazines” . Which we don’t. Fuck it’s all our fault for them getting old. I seriously think we need a manifesto on what we are no longer accepting as our responsibility. Starting with the above.
/r/MensRights24/09/23 01:48 PM

Well that’s the thing. I guess we all have the right to interpret things differently. And I get it. Why take it personally right? But this is the problem. Feminism teaches them to take it personally. And after 35 years of being raised in the feminist era, I know exactly what she is doing and why. And one has to ask a question. How is acting like a typical male going for us?
/r/MensRights24/09/23 01:38 PM

Yes. She just gets sleepy laying around all day at home. So I bring her. She is this kinda messed up pitbull who was terribly abused. Sweet as you could imagine to us the family and friends. But terrified of other people. I think men are like pitbulls. Totally judged as a whole because a few of us are dangerous and mostly those ones were mistreated too. The other similarity is people complain about them being dangerous right up until they protect you. My wife used to be scared walking around at …

Thanks for this. You are right. Can you imagine if she made a complaint to the gym ? Who do you think they would believe? I bet they would talk about getting rid of my membership. Ya that’s why this shit is a men’s rights issue. It’s not one woman. It’s her and anyone else she tells that “I am weird”. Its a power issue. She has the power and I don’t.

I have some things to share about the work out. Is there a protocol for conversing with you? “ I am not hurt by it. I wasn’t hurt when she ducked into the store. I think we need to ask what is the toll on us to be constantly watched. To have societal rules that we are not sure about. I told my wife and daughter about it. And they were upset. My daughter said she wanted to go with me next time. Which is great to have the support. But then you ask yourself… is that where we are? The only way we are not creeps is if we have women with us? Are men who are alone sus? Can you not take a picture if you don’t have a woman next to you?

Be careful in Asia. You have to meet the right women. Some of these “gentle” women are scary. Gotta take your time and meet the right people. No this one is close to my heart and if you guys want I will back up my argument after lunch. It’s because we were programmed by industry to be both good consumers and not to join political factions. We are taught to “make our own way” so we don’t join other men and have a revolution against our masters. Our masters are very very cunning.

She is an amazing Ally to us. We need women speaking for us. She is right we say anything and we are misogynists to the world. That’s the biggest problem in our movement. Men are too independent. Thinking they can solve things if they can just try harder. And not trusting or taking help when we need it. We need women on our sides. Women who will speak for us. I know as I write this I feel sad to know that that’s how messed up we are. Not because we need a woman to help us. But because we are so …

What’s the deal with this circumcising talk? It’s out of control. I mean the women that like me like that I am circumcised. So they say. But what WOULD they say to me? They are too polite to say otherwise and would find someone like you if it was a big problem. Is this really an actual thing. ? Or is it just Russians trying make us argue?

You are the one claiming that it’s not one. I made no claims except that we are a group of men talking about men’s rights. We are not a movement where we speak in unison.
/r/MensRights19/09/23 11:55 PM
2

Don’t be silly. We are a group of people who speak on a topic. You are speaking as though we are all one movement. And we should all have talking points to work with. And I think you are kidding yourself. He is getting to be a big deal. And NOT a capitalist by any means.

And furthermore.. no we don’t want this definition of masculinity. Because it implies that we are broken and we need mama to come fix us. And with all the women I love in my life. And there are plenty. That’s the one thing I dislike about women today. The idea that they believe they are the ideal wonder that we men should aspire to be. Women are not perfect. And they are becoming a shadow of the kind and gentle beings that raised so many of us. You go girl. You can do it. Girl power. The future …

Are you male? If am getting the feeling you are not. Because I am starting to find your logic annoying. The idea that toxic masculinity is simple because it “toxic” and “masculinity” mixed together is rather simplistic. Who is to say if something is “toxic” or “masculine”? The definition in the dictionary is just as you stated above and is “back to square one” because it does nothing to actually define which traits exactly it is referring to. Which is just the way cranky feminists would like it.…
/r/MensRights19/09/23 09:21 PM
2

Yes I can see your point. I guess it just irks me too much for me to use it. It’s too laden with female expectations on our behaviour.
/r/MensRights19/09/23 05:15 PM
6

Yes it’s a troubling definition isn’t it? It seems that they needed to dictionary define it because people were using the term. But it’s even less specific. I don’t think it is an actual definition as it says anything that is normative but not good for you or society. Back to square one
/r/MensRights19/09/23 05:13 PM
4

Look I don’t want to be argumentative. But I would not think a term can be defined by examples. Meaning this behaviour it toxic and another is not toxic. Because it is subjective. If you ask enough people every masculine trait would be toxic and the term would be useless. So please define the term you think exists. Toxic masculinity is. …… what?
/r/MensRights19/09/23 03:32 PM
2

Yes but… the term is used to shame men into questioning their behaviour. Which is fine if we do it to ourselves. But when used by the media and feminists it’s insulting and disrespectful. It puts our entire nature into question using a blanket statement.
/r/MensRights19/09/23 03:29 PM
8

I think you are both missing the point. Toxic masculinity is not defined by feminists. It’s become just a way to shame us for our actions that they don’t want us to do. So I see your point but there is no definition of the words to misunderstand. And they like it that way. And also I think you are correct in saying we DO have things to work on. Another example is many men’s weird homophobia towards other het men. Example is I should be able to tell my best friend I love him without worrying he w…

I can see your point but I don’t think it exists. Can I tell you why? It’s like patriarchy. It’s simply means that the names and wealth continue with the father to son. And yet the feminist view is not that. It’s complete control. Patriarchy is simply an anthropological term. But the feminist use of the word does not exist. Toxic masculinity is the same thing. Is our masculinity toxic sometimes? Ya it is. Is the feminist use of that term correct? No it’s not. The feminist term toxic masculinity …

Now they are going for the rest of the men with the woke left shit. Where all you have to be is male and white. Mass shootings. Mass drug addiction. Mass incarceration. Suicides through the roof. I have been thinking lately that maybe the emotionalism that is being pushed on men may not be good for us. So I was thinking that if we constantly check our feelings and delve deep. Always place your penis close to its cozy destination and ask her if she wants to put you inside her. She has to make the conscious decision. Never fuck a drunk woman. You can do lots of stuff. But I do want to add to this. Fear is an iceberg of a human emotion. It’s the thing men dont like to admit they have when they do. But also it’s a psychological force that has to be thought of when thinking about equality. People mistrust what they are afraid of. And women would be fools to not sometimes fear us. I think this fear is at the heart of the uglier side of feminism.

It’s funny. But it’s kinda true. When shame gets past what person can carry. They go rogue and end up not caring. I firmly believe that a lot of criminality comes from that.

Appreciated. I think the problem isn’t us. It’s the media and the constant representations of men. If you look into the past you see men’s self concepts being born out of movies. Like outcast hero’s and stand alone maverick men. That’s not who men are. They are characters we unfortunately learned from. What I am afraid of is that the character we get to see now are all deflated, weak, stupid and the feminist portrayal of us. Pedos and rapists. You can’t make good men out of those types of charac…

“ It wasn’t designed for privileged white males who already conform to their own traditional ideas of masculinity (duh); it was meant for those of us who often feel invisible and unworthy because we don’t fit into patriarchy’s white supremacist definition of beauty.” Whoa. I think spellcheck doesn’t help you write better if you can’t think. There should be an app called thinkcheck. That gives you alternative choices when you write something entirely stupid.

This will spell the end to the men you have known and loved. Maybe not soon. But someday if this doesn’t calm down. Good men are created because of good treatment of them. Without that, the constant distrust will make us weaker and question ourselves and our belief in taking charge in a moment when people need us. I am afraid to live in a world where good men are few and the don’t have the belief in ourselves to lead and do the right thing.

I can’t believe I missed this remark. “Even though huge lips look ugly to me personally”. And you say I lack compassion? Why would anyone make such a remark about a woman’s body like that? That’s exactly the point I am making about how this is talk is not helpful. It reminds me of the bullshit remarks feminists make on Reddit saying men suck. I happen to love women. And I wouldn’t make a comment like that about body parts. It’s derision. That’s why you and I will not agree on many topics.

My son got uti s because of a defect in the ureter. We were told circumcising was barbaric then because he had the issue circumcision was medically suggested. We brought him to have it done. But I looked at the procedure and grabbed him and left. So you actually don’t know what you are saying. I am very empathetic. I just get annoyed by people who only see things their way. And hearing you make it sound like female circumcision is no big deal is just off putting. It’s just not the kind of thing …

I don’t know if this applies to you. But once you see it. You will see it applies to most people especially the downtrodden. Shame isn’t for something we have done. It’s a method of control that keeps us in line with societies rules. It’s self imposed by placing ourselves in hierarchy. And depression is what that feels like. The moment I truly realized this is the moment I started living.

That is so stupid. Think for a minute “it’s simply a small part of the clit”? If someone took the head of your penis off you wouldn’t say “it’s simply part of the penis”. You know what? Men’s rights doesn’t mean tit for tat. We have to express our understanding and compassion towards the women around us while we look at changes to how we are treated. And the idea that we are to make the men’s circumcision as equivalent to women’s is absurd. I have heard stories from women who it happened to. The…

Just pay for your dates. If you don’t you won’t get alot of good women. I don’t think men’s rights is about equality. It’s an illusion. We just want to stop being maligned every where we go. I have decided that feminisms main fault is to not accept that we are ALL products of nature. And that nature is brutal and sometimes heartless. But they divorce themselves from any animal qualities and project them on us. So we both DO the dirty work and become DIRTY by it. Feminist Women see themselves as keepers of another class of righteousness because we do what they are either too weak or morally above to do.

I am afraid that men are not seen as individuals. We are a group called “men”. So instead of hating the rapist, like I do, like the boy who assaulted my daughter. They see it as all of us. And they call it a culture. To be fair though, most women have had their share of bullshit treatment so I get it. I asked my friend if she thought women secretly hate us. She said no.. we fear you. A big problem is that feminist groups are often run by lesbians who don’t have any reason to like us or even be around us. So they make claims as to how men should act in heterosexual interactions that don’t make actual sense.

I think we have to separate good people with jackasses. If you are on a date it’s because you think you are with a good person not a jackass. So pay for her. Don’t anticipate that she is sexist before she is. Paying for your date. That’s the way the world works so just be generous and do it. If she turns out to be entitled then you can complain. But being a man means you pay for the first date. Just is. This is my opinion anyways

Culture is made up in anyway. If you think about it. It’s a belief system that is agreed on and whether it’s true or not isn’t important. Feminism has infiltrated the culture so much that it frames every instance of bad behaviour by men as a confirmation bias. Men are not as kind, polite, caring, giving, thoughtful etc as women. It’s bullshit. It’s shaming people by telling them they are not as good as another person. And they can’t change it. You will still only be “one of the good ones” when y…

Look I think it’s great to have people to support each other in this world which is askew. But we have to understand that women are truly afraid of us. They are afraid for their safety. Just imagine you live in a world where everyone is twice your weight and 4 times stronger and you have a big bag of gold hanging off your belt. I believe it’s this fear that drives women politically and why we will never solve the problem ever. They will always have a problem we can’t solve.

It’s weirdly true and untrue what you say. It’s true because the feminist movement has been taken over by radical mostly lesbian feminists. I know because I remember seeing it happen in the late 80s. I remember walking for anti violence protests when I was 20. But I was terribly turned off when I saw that the movement was high jacked. I ask you? Yep. I agree re the right and left. The media impressions of both sides are infantile and combative. They teach argument instead of taking different ideas and incorporating the best aspects of each.
