A) They chose these boyfriends (B) Who fucking knows the other side of the story C) There's something inherently dysfunctional about talking about your relationships online, even if it's anonymous. A complete and utter lack of accountability for their own poor, predictable choices.

You're correct here. "Feeling Safe When Out At Night" - if you're more vulnerable, you need to make further precautions. This is just sensible.

Schools are optimized for kids who just sit down and follow instructions, like little drones, so well-behaved little girls tend to do a lot better. Boys often need to be taught in different ways, to capture their attention and maximise their potential. Girls go into puberty earlier. The part of the brain which makes you act 'responsibly' (hand your homework in on time) develops sooner in girls. This makes big difference in the relative performance in boys and girls.

Hit-Nail-Head! The occasional 'faux' concern about the living standards of women who aren't in their direct peer group is absolutely nauseating, and doesn't fool anyone!

Not sure why I'm being down voted here. It's definitely true that society doesn't give a flying fuck about men's mental health.

The stats are legit. Women attempt suicide more than men but use less lethal means, so succeed less often. That said, is it often a cry for help?

Feminism, has, and always will be, solely concerned with increasing the status of already very privileged, white western women.

We're living in cesspit of increasing female toxicity, masquerading as light-hearted fun. Power, does indeed corrupt...Especially hive-minded individuals who have no ability to have an opinion that hasn't been spoon-fed to them directly from morons on TikTok.

Fair enough. Like all of the guys on here, I'm incredibly disappointed how men are relentlessly belittled and vilified by the media and society in general. I suppose I try not to make a big deal about the smaller things, so as not to distract from bigger issues. But to be honest, very, very few women are willing to acknowledge these issues, so it's a moot point, anyway. Women face some discrimination, for sure, but isn't publicly 'sanctioned' and normalized in the way misandry has been. I

You're disgusted at those who SIMP, as am I, as it nourishes further narcissistic behaviour in women and makes men look weak.and pathetic. Educating men is the key. Making them understand that their SIMPING will not get them the 'reward' they're after, it will just make them a target for further manipulation. They need to better themselves, then choose to target their attention at women with higher integrity.

There's 'some' truth to what you say. But realistically, most male and female actors are naturally particularly attractive. I get it, that getting 'muscular', requires more work than just being 'in good shape'.

Feminism's problem is they want to mould women into pseudo-men. Bizarre how they've decided that the default human behaviour should be masculine. Then when men object to these masculinized women, we get told we're 'intimidated', rather than disgusted.

The relentless attack on men is abhorrent! Men aren't doing well, but I don't think women are doing well, either, when it comes to relationships. The aim is to find a reason for this...and yes, they know who to blame...

A lot of wisdom here!!! Yes, monogamy was established as way to form a stable society, which didn't have unpartnered young men running around causing havoc! These days, unpartnered, young men, sedate themselves with games, alcohol or other drugs, so don't pose the same threat!

When my mates make terrible choices, they acknowledge that it is fundamentally their own fault (eventually!).
/r/MensRights28/06/23 08:11 PM
13

I'm aware you genuinely think this, but you're so, so wrong. Most men are aware of their 'place' and expect someone of similar 'value'.For the record, I don't think most women are after 'perfection' or the three 'sixes'.
/r/MensRights28/06/23 07:58 PM

It didn't used to be like this! It's astounding what has happened to society! 'Shame' existed in society in order for men and women to make better choices in future. But all 'shame' has been irradicated for women in the west. Instead, poor behaviour is actually being encouraged and actually celebrated.

I may have misunderstood the post from the OP. What I'm saying, is the 'pragmatic' approach you're talking about isn't necessarily as pragmatic as you think. I.e. instant, overwhelming initial desire isn't necessarily what leads to long- Lasting relationship. People, often, don't give potential partners enough of a chance, especially when they're distracted by a wealth of other opportunities.
/r/MensRights28/06/23 07:22 PM

I take your point. But it's not 'quite' the same thing.

This was how it was in the past, and people respected each other enough to behave in this manner.
/r/MensRights28/06/23 06:30 PM

It's not a 'relationship' at this point, but a 'commitment', of sorts, to continue dating to see if you can both move forward to a a committed relationship.

Exclusivity, for most guys, is the person they're dating not talking to other guys and DEFINITELY not sleeping with other guys.
/r/MensRights28/06/23 06:24 PM

That's a massive, massive part of the problem! The number of women who make terrible dating choices, but don't blame themselves (whatsoever) for making said choices is un-be-fucking-lievable. Accountability is their kryptonite.

Absolutely spot-on! If I guy likes you, he'll celebrate your success, because it makes you happy. But it's not fundamentally attractive to a guy that his partner is successful. The other issue is entitlement, arrogance and narcissism that some people with success (both men and women) develop. An intelligent, educated guy (will typically) want to be with a similarly able partner who he can have interesting conversation. However, he's generally not that bothered about the exact nature of her job a…
