Are you trying to argue that she's average?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 07:03 AM

Everything. I can always make more money, but I can't buy myself more time.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 05:30 AM

I'd give up orgasms easily. Good sleep can carry you through a whole day while the best orgasm only lasts seconds. Plus not being able to orgasm doens't mean you can't function enough to please others, and that's at least half half the fun.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 05:24 AM
1

Thanks I think
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 05:19 AM

It's a little of both if I'm being honest. The latter of which I blame on the beers.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 04:59 AM

Isn't that what we're all here for?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 04:42 AM

What weight do you give to what people say on social media?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 04:21 AM

Ignorance isn't really bliss for me. I just feel stupid about the times I was ignorant.

Women are the ones complaining about men's standards supposedly being too high, and the majority of women value being relationship material over just being fuckable, ya?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 04:06 AM
1

If you can't get what you want and don't adjust accordingly, you prefer holding out.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 03:56 AM
1

You're right, I made the assumption you valued relationships more than just being fuckable and started to argue based on that. My bad. I got ahead of myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 03:55 AM
1

That doesn't matter at all. I can't "afford" what I want, but I'm okay being alone. That's all that matters.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 03:45 AM
2

Some dudes for sure will fuck anything, but that doesn't mean their standards for a relationship are high. There are plenty of dudes in relationships with women I wouldn't fuck with my worst enemy's dick.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 03:41 AM
1

Ignoring all else, having higher standards than you can afford doesn't mean you have high standards.

There's no men in between?

Since it seems to be a theme lately: Q4W: Do you actually believe the men here have high standards when it comes to looks?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 02:59 AM

Did you make the post expecting people not to react to it? That seems foolish.

It's just a preference sweetie

It's gotta be the true crime one. Mycologist is so niche I don't even know what it is, and being a piano teacher is believable enough. You're one of the 5 women on earth who isn't into true crime.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 02:02 AM
3

I agree with the logic, and you're probably right, but at the end of the day thinking you have control over how someone else is going to act is hubris imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 01:55 AM
4

I think that's a catch-22 because it's just as likely if he told her no more often she'd say he neglects her and doesn't care about her wants and needs.

Ok

You greatly overestimate the impact your words have on my emotional state

This is why you men should never let the opinion of women bother them because there are damaged ones like this out there.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 12:34 AM

It's a combined bachelor and hens night so it's gonna be half women. The women are asking us to like dress according to themes. Eeeeewwwwwww

Some dude said it once (probably just meaning she's not his type) and now it's what we all think

If you won't just eat blatant disrespect to your face you're just insecure bro
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 09:44 PM

Why do women here try to "uplift" by trying to gaslight them into believing they're not seeing what they're seeing? I'm not short nor am I sensitive to women talking about how important height is to them, but it's absolutely everywhere. It's most definitely not just in RP content.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 05:48 PM

Says who?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 05:19 AM
1

Women can settle at any age for any number of reasons. For example, she's settling because she feels pressure to date within her race by her family. Thinking you can only be bux'd because she's been ran through by hotter dudes is just jealousy.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 05:18 AM
2

Just because a woman chooses a man, it doesn't mean she actually likes him all that much. You're being awful polite here, so I'm not gonna press.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 05:06 AM
1

Being "chosen" by a woman doesn't mean shit
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 04:54 AM
1

So?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 04:50 AM
1

The reason you're settling is inconsequential to me. If you had your way, you probably wouldn't be dating your bf.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 04:45 AM
1

So the guy you really want can't be brought home to mom and dad.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 04:32 AM
2

Why the hell would you try to set him up with someone else when you liked him the whole time?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 04:29 AM
6

Depends on who's saying it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 04:22 AM

My problem was I kept trying, hoping for a relationship where I wasn't being used. Took me a while to get the message.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 04:12 AM

I'm not fat and I'm childless. Why am I obligated to seek out women who fat and/or have children?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 03:28 AM
5

Women take it personally too. I've have women completely lose their shit because someone as unattractive as I am would have the gall to turn them down. And no, I don't enjoy it. I'm glad I don't have to do it often.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 03:25 AM

If you're actively going to perpetuate toxic behavior, you have no right to criticize men who make fun of fat women.

I don't believe you can purposely change your personality. Not really. It may change naturally, and you can pretend, but you can't wake up one day and decide to be someone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 11:57 PM
2

Oh, and I wasn't personally offended by what you said. I just wanted to remind you that you have no room to talk about anyone else's appearance.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 11:54 PM

You should be able to have intense feelings for someone and being able to control your urge to smother them would be growth. A lack of intense feels is just a lack of intense feelings.

Needing to be cool on social media is very unattractive to me. The only girl I thought about proposing to wouldn't have agreed because I didn't have the money at the time to buy a proper ring. I think on some level the ring supposed to be indicative of how financially stable/able to to providie you are.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 08:53 PM

Yeah, I think those women are just trying to flex on their friends. I'd probably reexamine the whole relationship if that's the type of person she is.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 08:39 PM
2

Yeah, I don't know a single woman who is engaged or married that isn't sporting a diamond
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 08:37 PM

Good point. Now that you mention it, I do often disagree with people on this site when it comes to finances.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 08:22 PM

The diamond ring discussion below is one of the best indicators that the women here are not normal. Half don't want a diamond or even a ring at all? That's definitely not representative of the average woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 08:12 PM

Nope. I would suddenly become very environmentally conscious and start biking/walking to work.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 07:50 PM

Even women who are saying it the first way usually think it's a compliment. They think you should feel honored that she wanted to be with you enough to compromise on physical attraction. This is why many women say things like "looks matter less" and "priorities change" when they're getting older and looking to settle down. They even say it to reassure men struggling in their 20s that they'll "get their chance someday." Most women will trade a great sex life for a mediocre sex life within a relat…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 07:15 PM

It is indeed probably fake, but women really do think what she said is a compliment. It's been discussed ad nauseam.

Keep in mind that the average woman in America/the west is dumpy.

Australians are better looking than average around the world, and even among the anglosphere
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 05:40 AM

He's 36 and not fat with a full head of hair. In America that automatically makes him above average. Plus she's probably busted as shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 05:10 AM

I meant that you believe their description of a guy as average.

You really believe their bullshit, huh?

If it bothers you that much, why not get involved in crime yourself? You get women, and on top of that it's very lucrative.

Oh, carry on then
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 04:15 AM

Repectfully, maybe women do have a point when they say dudes don't try that hard to look good and then complain.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 03:36 AM
1

They want to talk to you. You might end up making them uncomfortable, but that's not a crime, it's just the way things go sometimes.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 03:29 AM

Based on what I've seen people here kinda run the gamut except there aren't really any truly beautiful people here.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 03:24 AM

Chad and Stacy are 8 and above. Pretty privilege starts at 6 and above. As a 6 you'll get some pretty privilege benefits at least occasionally (this is more true for women than men). The more attractive you are, the more benefits and how often you receive them increases.

No, but based on how they tried to fix their mistake, I bet you're gonna have a bitch of a time getting anything of value out of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 01:23 AM

It's because men and women both don't care about men. A lot of us don't even value our own lives all that much given reckless a lot of us are. It is what it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 01:17 AM

Because one disgusts me and the other doesn't.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/24 09:25 PM

It's just genetics. I have full coverage, but it's not as thick as I'd like to to be. If I try to grow it out is just looks scraggly. Real men have a good jaw and are clean shaven anyways.

Now that's what I'd call shallow
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/24 07:57 PM

You're telling me if you met a guy was capable of having interesting conversations with you, you'd reject him simply because he doesn't have a degree?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/24 07:33 PM

Graduated college I'll nitpick this one: Why does this matter? What if he never finished college but he's still successful professionally (in a white collar capacity)? What if he graduated with some bullshit degree and can't get anything much better than waiting tables for a job? I'm guessing your standard in this regard (and others) isn't as simple as you make it out to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/24 07:22 PM

No shit. Those are the only women desperate enough to go to an event like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/24 07:07 PM

Based on the lists of standards I've seen women come up with, they're all settling. The perfect guy they come up with their heads doesn't exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/24 07:06 PM

Yes the relationship will be just terrible if he has average sized hands instead of large hands

/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/24 09:07 PM

That's been mostly my experience as well. Someone posted a thread from another subreddit further down about and there are tons of short guys saying women openly rejected them because of their height. That's not to say they weren't rejected for their height, I just don't think women are actually telling them that.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/24 08:36 PM
3

Q4M: When you get rejected, do women usually give you a specific reason? Yes or no will suffice.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/24 08:02 PM
2

The closest I've seen a short guy with a girl the same height.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/24 07:31 PM

I take it a step further by not wanting to pass on my own genetics for that reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/24 07:28 PM

Idk, I see it expressed a lot. What's your point?

/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 06:43 AM

Nah. It's something very rare that I wanted to buy that came up for sale, but it'd be financially reckless if I bought it before I sold some other stuff. The thing I wanted appears to have sold, and it's unlikely anything similar will come up for sale any time soon. Sorry for being vague, but I'm hold out a little hope it didn't sell and the seller will re-list it.

What do you mean by what they read and watch?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 05:39 AM

I don't think it's ED problems. It's more various sources are convincing men they need to have a concrete hard dick at all times.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 05:28 AM

I'm allergic to nuance, but you think I was literally calling your friends morons? It was just a figure of speech. You know what, if you are as you say you are, you sound pretty cool. I think preselection matters to most women, but good for you for not really giving a fuck what other people think. I can't really argue you're not how you are now can I?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 05:00 AM

Lmao, great point
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 04:20 AM

That's kind of a mealy mouthed answer, isn't it? Sure, if you think he's perfect to the point where you start to think your friends are morons, you'll continue to date him. It does reflect well on him if your friends like him, though, does it not?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 04:17 AM

I can't speak to how other men feel. It seems to me a lot of men are starving for any sort of positive feedback, but Idk. I'll also be the first to tell you that I'm not normal in a lot of respects.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 04:12 AM

Well it's hard to argue with that. My experience tells me the approval of her friends matters. 🤷🏻‍♂️
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 03:55 AM

Hmmm, that's interesting. My 10th grade english teacher brought in a friend who was an aspiring actor to talk to the class. He said Springer was completely scripted and fake. I always took that at face value. Maybe or maybe not my bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 03:54 AM

Would you choose a guy none of your friends like?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 03:46 AM

You think Jerry Springer is real? Everyone on that show was an aspiring actor.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 03:40 AM

The only way this happens is if her SMV/RMV is even lower than his AND she's desperate to be in a relationship regardless of the quality.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 03:38 AM

Nah, not really. If someone compliments something about me that I already believe to be a positive quality, my internal reaction is basically "yeah, no shit." If someone compliments something about me that I feel is lacking, I feel like you're shining me on for some reason. Basically, I feel like I'm faking appreciation either way, and I don't think I'm a great actor. I feel bad about that. Same goes for gifts.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 03:22 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/24 11:23 PM

Why is there this sentiment that men have any control over other* men's behavior? Men who aren't slaves to their dicks are a minority. No matter what we say, they wouldn't listen to us. I know this because men do embarrassing shit all the time just for a crumb of female attention. They don't care. They can't see the forest for the trees.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/24 11:19 PM

Obama wasn't choosing a wife solely based on looks and personality. Even back then it's highly likely he was considering women based on whether they'd make him more favorable to voters. Michelle was a great choice in that respect.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/24 10:55 PM

I've only seen three guys post pictures of themselves, so men win by default.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/24 10:22 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 08:11 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 07:55 AM
1

Where are you getting this “to me” from? You're not the person I original replied to.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 07:45 AM

The first sentence certainly doesn’t imply that an exciting sex life is only to be had after settling down. Again, you're the one who implied settling down was boring. Not me.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 07:44 AM
1

Nah, he always would've been killing it. It's just a TV show.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 07:18 AM

What about if a man has a rocky relationship with one of his parents? How about if he's a child of divorced parents? I've seen many women cite those things as deal breakers.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 07:15 AM

The first sentence on it's own doesn't really say anything besides the fact that one can mature past being young, dumb, and full of cum. When paired with the context of second sentence, it absolutely says that being "young, dumb, and full of cum" means having an adventurous and exciting sex life. To her an adventurous and exciting sex life means having multiple partners. To her, maturing means prioritizing things other than an adventurous and exciting sex life.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 06:45 AM

Men shouldn't develop crushes regardless

You need all 3 dummy.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 05:22 AM

If you asked you about you standards, none of them involve a man's past?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 05:20 AM

Being young, dumb, and full of cum doesn't mean that person is incapable of growing, maturing, and having different priorities as they age. I'd much rather he have a past in which he had a sexually adventurous youth and then settle down, dreaming about an exciting sexual past he 'could have had', The implication of these two sentences is that an adventurous and exciting sex life is only to be had before you settle down.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 04:58 AM

The implication of your original comment is that having frequent new sex partners is adventurous and exciting while settling down into a long term monogamous relationship is the opposite. You realized you acknowledged the guy you have to settle for is boring to you sexually and then tried to walk it back when I called it out.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 04:39 AM

Nice try
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 04:16 AM

Lmao at "dozens" being scandalous, how fucking sheltered are you? Most women here argue the average for both men and women is well under 10.

When/if you did, did you overestimate your activity level? I try to underestimate and adjust my calorie intake based on what the scale tells me after a couple weeks. To gain 9 actual pounds in a month you'd need to be consuming 1,050 excess calories a day. Even if half of that 9 lbs could be chalked up to natural fluctuation, that's s…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/24 09:12 PM

Eh, I attend mixed gender social events regularly and I haven't met 10 single women that I find attractive in the last year that way. I think you overstate how much I have in common with a friend/sister/cousin of my friend or his wife/gf. I'm not advocating putting all your eggs in either basket. I've never really cold approached a woman nor do I have any interest in trying to.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/24 08:13 PM

Of course
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/24 08:02 PM

I wouldn't call it anger, but I do have contempt for people whine at others about the consequences of their own bad choices like this lady.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/24 08:01 PM

The guys cold approaching aren't approaching just one woman, they're approaching women constantly. Unless you have an abnormally large social circle, the people trying to date exclusively through common friends are the ones hinging everything on a small number of potential interactions.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/24 07:15 PM

Should yes. I do wonder if it's the norm, though. I'd bet if the guy is the one who ended things his chances of getting the ring back are lower than if she ended things.

I found a lot of those type of assignments to be more exercises in creative writing than anything. "Based on a true story" if you will. They don't really care if the traumas are real, they just care that you can correctly identify them well enough to make them up if needed.

Clearly it is, because you're clearly taking a comment that wasn't personal, personal. You're so blinded by rage you can't even calm down enough to read what I wrote. Have a nice night.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/24 11:59 PM

No, you incorrectly inferred that. I didn't say anything about high n-counts one way or the other. I was just pointing out that I don't need someone to tell me about their sexual history in plain English to make an educated guess about it based on other things they will tell me about their past.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/24 11:32 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/24 07:53 PM

Negative
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/24 03:45 PM

Probably true here, but feminism has a lot of loud female supremacist voices within it which is probably what a lot of men react negatively to.

/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/24 03:25 AM

I don't think anyone really argues with the fact that men outside the top 20% get into relationships. There simply aren't enough of those men to go around. That doesn't mean the women who can't get a top 20% man are happy about having to settle and don't treat the men they settle for accordingly.

The most interesting part of this, and reading posts by cheaters in general, is how they claim to love their partner despite being duplicitous pieces of shit. They are two separate kinds of loneliness. Every time this topic comes up I become more and more convinced that women are just fundamentally incapable of understanding male friendships because they're so different from female friendships.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/24 04:10 PM

We both know men who describe themselves as being lonely are doing so because they lack a romantic partner, not because they lack male friends. One is not a substitute for the other.

So, reviews on dating apps might be helpful. Maybe not like, entire written reviews but a little snapshot. Choosing some qualities from a premade list of what this person was good at. Things like on time, good conversation, polite, had fun. That might be a little too on the nose for treating people like products, though. It'd ultimately be useless because people would get a lot of bad reviews just because they got rejected/didn't get what they wanted.

The concept of I will stay with a person that I am not sexually compatible with because they only have x type of sex is stupid. It doesn't seem stupid when your options are accept the sexual incompatibility, breakup and have no sex at all for god knows how long, or try to get her to come around (this is a fools errand). You're not wrong, it's just an explanation.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/24 02:14 PM

I'm genuinely curious how many women actually employ this vetting strategy though? Idk, but it happens. I was made to wait 2 months by a woman who had had a lot of casual sex. It's not. If most men aren't interested in making new friends past a certain age, it's not really about how hard the men who do want to make friends are trying. The unfortunate reality is they're fighting a losing battle.

That's kinda my whole point. Men don't value or seek friendships with men they haven't formed a strong bond with, and that bond is only formed only under specific circumstances. Women call women they've barely said 3 words to friends. It's harder and maybe even impossible past a certain to form more than superficial friendship after a certain age as a man.

What women consider loneliness and what men consider loneliness is laughably different. I could go years without any meaningful interaction with another human being if I wanted. I could say I'm lonely and people would blame me. If a woman says she's lonely people RUN to make her not feel lonely. They don't care about anything else about her, they just don't want her to feel bad.

Again, both naturally ugly and naturally attractive women put more effort into their appearance than the average man and the average man would absolutely do better if he put as much effort into his appearance as the average woman does. If you are unwilling to put effort into your physical attractiveness to the same level, then that’s your personal choice and that’s fine, but you can’t be surprised when people don’t find you attractive. /r/PurplePillDebate29/07/24 11:34 PM

The average man does not possess the genetic gifts to be considered physically desirable by women. No amount of "trying" short of plastic surgery will change this. The only reason the average woman in the US is considered desirable is because men on average have a much wider range of what they're attracted to and lower standards. When I see an ugly or fat woman who takes good care of herself, I respect that she at least tries. It does not make me attracted to her, though. I'm much more likely to…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/24 10:26 PM

Lust is defined a "very strong sexual desire." Saying one can have a little bit of a very strong sexual desire is an oxymoron. The grey area you're looking for is between lust and revulsion. Men have sex with women they're not particularly attracted to just to get their rocks off. Women have sex with men they're neither lustful for nor repulsed by to secure a relationship.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/24 08:20 PM

The majority of men have no idea how to be sexy and then act shocked women don’t desire them. Women don't give men who aren't already sexy the opportunity to be seductive. Women actively avoid situations where they might encounter men who might try this. It does not appeal to them.

This idea of men not wanting to "raise another man's kids" is so gross. Love and family isn't about biology. I personally believe raising and supporting another man's offspring is a form of cuckoldry, but I can give a practical reason not to do it: If you grow to love that child like they're your own, but down the line you break up with their parent, you will lose the child too. I understand sex tourists. I do not understand the men who bring one of those girls home with them. If women don't like you at home, foreign women won't either.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/24 11:16 PM

I think a lot of that is just bitter women lashing out because they know dick size is a source of insecurity for most men. I'm not saying women don't care about dick size, because they do, but it's not that high on most women's priority list and if you're average or above you're probably fine. Men should be far more insecure about their face, hair, height, frame, and body fat percentage.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/24 10:07 PM

They're probably at least half-way feral.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/24 09:23 PM

That's some projection by those women.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/24 09:20 PM

Did this really happen or are you making it up?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/24 09:04 PM

I would think so, but the amount of women who complain about dating and fucking dudes who didn't wash their ass makes me question it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/24 08:37 PM

The funny thing is I think a lot of women already do. If you can't find a woman to at least settle for you as a guy, that's rough.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/24 08:27 PM
2

So you want a guy to come along and pay your bills, but what do they get out of it? You sound very cold so it's not gonna be companionship and warmth, you don't like fun, and you don't like sex. I'm not trying to insult you here, I'm just not sure why even a guy who was desperate would go for this.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/24 08:21 PM

Most guys are not getting attention like with any sort of frequency.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/24 02:49 PM

if anything the average guy would discover he is no ones type. Couldn't agree more. More men need to discover other interests and put dating aside.

Yes, the ROI of effort for most men in the SMP and RMP is quite poor.

If they have to jump through hoops to get laid, they're still losers of the sexual market places. At the end of the day, women don't fuck them for free.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/24 04:30 AM

the unbalanced relationship is also causing more single ppl. How do you figure? People settle for unbalanced relationships out of desperation, not because they just didn't wait long enough.

You said I missed the ones that are really questionable and I'm telling you I didn't. I don't really give a fuck what you think you're discussing.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/24 04:22 AM
1

That wouldn't really lead to more balanced relationships. It just leads to more people staying single. I'm fine with that personally, but I don't think most people are cool with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/24 04:14 AM
-2

Uh, no, I didn't. I just focused in on the ones that are non-negotiable for me personally. A good BJ is not high on my priority list, I don't need someone to cook clean, or do my laundry for me, and I don't want side chicks. I'd definitely prefer she have no/few guy friends, but it's not an automatic deal breaker.

So every other quality is realistic? I never thought my standards were all that high, but shit, they truly are in the gutter.

is 100 percent faithful to you/no drama. I guess a woman who doesn't cheat on me and pick random stupid fights is too much to ask. My bad.

I think that's pretty rare.

Here's how I think about it: 41% of first marriages end in divorce. Can we assume the remaining marriages are all happy? Nope. Are enough of them unhappy to reach greater than 50%? I'd bet on that.

Haha, I tried to tell ya.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/24 03:17 AM

No, I really can't. I pretty successfully avoided all content like this for the last 2+ years, but what women say online really tracks with how I've been treated most of the time. Before, I thought I just had bad luck. Now I know they feel contempt towards me because they feel they're lowering themselves by dating me.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/24 03:04 AM
1

Yeah, maybe. I've felt smothered because of it, but thinking about doing better is antithetical to the way I think. Do you think this imbalance is avoidable? If so, how?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/24 02:44 AM

Nah, she just has time to reflect on how she probably could do better because this loser worships the ground she walks on and she feels kinda meh towards him.

Yes, I can tell from personal experience that the lifting of the veil will kill any optimism and love you had for men. I'd had some pretty terrible experiences, but I still had a lot of hope I'd find my person one day until I started reading what women say about men online. And for me, there's no going back.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/24 02:02 AM

I appreciate you and your comments here. You handled this discussion much better than I did.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 11:56 PM

How often do you go around gassing up men who've done nothing for you? I'm gonna put my money on never since you openly identify yourself as subscribing to a misandrist ideology.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 11:43 PM

Respect and appreciation aren't the same thing. I never said women don't deserve a basic level of respect. Everyone does. Why is not praising women equivalent to "fuck em?" It's more just ambivalence to most women. I appreciate women who do things for me. I'm not here to make women who've done nothing for me personally feel better about themselves. Women aren't doing so for me, nor do I expect them to.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 11:29 PM

You're not really holding them accountable for their actions if they don't know what they're being held accountable for.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 10:41 PM

If a woman laments about how little women are appreciated for things that we are expected to do, assume she is being genuine about her experience and try to sympathize. Doing what's expected of you (whatever the hell you mean by that) is the bare minimum. No one's throwing a parade for men who do the bare minimum, either, so why should we appreciate women for doing so?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 10:23 PM

If a woman uses a guy for his money or treats random men badly even when they did nothing wrong, I and other women who aren’t similarly shitty women would hold her accountable. I have never seen this, so shitty women must be the majority. What I have seen a lot is women defend and even encourage other women when they're being shitty because "she's a woman and he's a man so he must've done something to provoke her." For example, when women cheat, according to women it's always the boyfriend/husba…

I started dressing well in my mid-late 20s after not really giving a shit to that point. I regularly get compliments on what I wear, and the (limited but never non-existent) attention I got from women stayed pretty much the same. It's not nearly the difference maker women on here always make it out to be.

Maybe not in the us Yeah, this is the problem. In the US the cute woman you described is highly sought after.

I could be misinformed, but if a man is not married, the mother is going to find out you have suspicions when you don't sign the birth certificate. If you are married, you're automatically assumed to be the father and will be on the hook for child support regardless of whether you share DNA with that child or not. I'm talking about the US. YMMV in other countries.

You're either being insincere or you've never visited any female centric subreddit. Women are just as vicious in expressing their anger, bitterness, and hatred of men.

My friends would describe their partners as attractive and hot Would they? Have you actually heard them say that? I'm not hot and no girl I've ever been with would have described me as such. I also see a lot of women online describe guys they were or are in relationships with as only somewhat attractive or even downright ugly. Seems to me women often end up with partners they don't find hot.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 06:54 PM

It was the opposite for me. When I became unafraid of them leaving, they left.

You're right, on Tinder (I doubt it's much different anywhere else) the average woman swipes right 7% of the time. It's in the "how you measure up to others" part of the report.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 06:29 PM

Well that and to slander men they've never met of course.

Most couples meet online, so no, definitely not the minority.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 02:17 PM

No, it's the same 20%, it's just that not every woman finds every top 20% man attractive. Most individual women will tell you they only find about 1% of men they encounter attractive. Individual women who've posted their data from dating apps usually swiped right on less than 1% of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 08:35 AM

If your only goal is to get laid, sure. We're talking about relationships here. People who are single in their late 30s are single for good reason and are the absolute bottom of the barrel.

Frequency doesn't matter. Can she envision herself in a situation where she might want to wear heels? Yes? Any guy she dates needs to be noticeably taller than her in heels.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 06:10 AM

Can they? I know an awful lot of guys who are their wife's bitch. I've even been through that myself. I knew I couldn't do better than her, even years later I still haven't, but eventually I started telling her no and a few months later she left me for another guy. How many guys are willing to risk dying alone to maintain their standards?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 05:48 AM
1

Why would you assume men's standards being too high is what's preventing them from finding relationships? Numerous polls say far more women than men are single and not looking. Women can't stop talking on social media about how men ain't shit and about how happy they are alone. Many of the large investment banks predict more and more women will remain single longer and longer going forward and are betting unfathomably large sums of money on it. It's far more reasonable to believe it's women who …
