A male child of royalty is called a prince. This is also taught in elementary school.

A lot of men like big ladies.

MAL’s top-rated romance manga of all time, none of which is what you’ve described. Harem garbage exists and gets adapted a lot into anime, but that’s because you can translate a lot of different love interests at once for mass market appeal. It’s the definition of a cost-cutting measure.

Yes, and that sentence means something, and I wouldn’t have to ask what it meant, because context clues are enough to derive what each word means in conjunction with another. It’s called reading comprehension. It’s taught in elementary school.

Oh, no need, since they do actually make sense grammatically.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/25 05:34 PM

If you understand the words, you can decipher the sentence. It’s not complicated. You’re sounding evil. That’s what happens when you strip down the polite language from the core of what you’re doing. It’s vile, yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/25 05:21 PM
2

None of those words are complicated…and women on here call themselves the more literate gender… The basic point is that women shouldn’t use their body as a bargaining chip AND be offended when men give them a counter offer, find a work around, or cheapen/commodify what’s on the table. It’s hypocritical and dumb.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/25 04:52 PM

Nuh-uh! You only think so because it ruins women’s monopoly over childbirth because some women prioritize their own financial wellbeing over some women feeling secure in their femininity. And wrong again. We’ve moved past it as a society because it was barbaric, but women were once treated as nothing but their wombs in exchange for shelter, protection, and comfort. Some men try to push that idea from time to time and get pushback.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/25 04:23 PM

PPD Women constantly hold the fact that they have a womb and we don’t over the heads of men as a bargaining chip in relationships but then balk over men treating relationships as transactions for having children. They also balk over men paying for surrogacies to cut out the middle man. You can’t have your cake and eat it too, you know.

I think this distinction is absolutely vital to bring up initially though. It isn’t that men are disinterested in romance or that they’re disinterested in labor, it’s that they want their labor reciprocated. That’s the ultimate fantasy. There’s a famous romance manga about the premise of renting the “girlfriend experience” without any of the physical intimacy (to protect the actresses), and the main character and the girl he ends up renting end up developing some sort of feelings for each other.…

Yes, that’s being forcefully reminded of someone’s internal monologue. People don’t like to acknowledge it. There’s not actually any extra labor being done. It just feels uncomfortable.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 06:02 PM

People don’t like to be reminded that others are human beings with their own inner dialogue. Your actions need to be as effortless and fluid as possible to put people at ease. Visible thought is the enemy; never show hesitation or doubt.

I can’t offer looks, so it’s not a priority for me in a relationship. That would be hypocritical. The red pill is about realism in dating at its core, yeah? I don’t particularly care about weight, personally, high or low

Do your past experiences collectively detract from your happiness more than your current relationship adds to it?

Almost all of my comments in this thread are at neutral. I’m asking a lot of questions because I’m interested in the experiences of others, and also because what’s the point of a thread like this without follow-up questions?

You could always ask. Admittedly, you probably won’t get many good faith responses from here or from men, given all the resentment around nowadays. But a women’s space for loneliness might be able to shed some light on struggles that come from not having the connections that you did, and you can extrapolate that against your own life story to form a picture of what it would be like for you. That’s if you wanted to understand. Obviously, you’re under no obligation to go through that effort, and i…

The lie being going back to a time where you weren’t aware for the sake of living with an extra pep in your step. So she was special in a way no other girl was or has been since? What about her captured your attention?

Know thyself, know thy enemy lover, and take care that you choose your enemies lovers wisely, hm? I feel like this wouldn’t be out of place in the Art of War. I appreciate you taking your time to put this together. I hope you find something that contributes positively to your overall happiness.

In your opinion, would you say you are more or less happy than someone who doesn’t have those relationships? Supposing they’re in a similarly stable position to you in life.

Thank you for your perspective. Knowing what you do now, would you ever try again? What would be your advice to anyone trying now for the first time?

Do you ever get curious what your life would look like without your relationships?

That would be a huge help, yeah. Be the worst you can be for your own sake. No need to put on a polite front, just go all in. The world would honestly be a better place if everyone stopped pretending.

Because this is a debate sub? The whole point is the argument, and you’re wrong, but you won’t let yourself be wrong for some reason. Being wrong is half the fun of debate. I won’t repeat my answer until I get a solid answer out of you. I’m not a fan of spamming the same reply over and over.

I’ve already answered your question. You know, I think a lot of gender issues would be solved if we stopped constantly looking across the aisle for answers and just asked each other what the biggest problems in our lives were. Like, top 5, because the first couple would probably be the same.

It’s important to also acknowledge how the stigma around breastfeeding affects new mothers as well. So many end up ruining their mental health over their body not cooperating with milk production through no fault of their own. It’s truly sad.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 05:17 PM
1

Breastfeeding is good for an infant’s health, but it’s not everything, and people get by even without being able to breastfeed. There are resources available for parents who would like their babies to have breast milk available to them even without being able to produce the milk themselves. This is regardless of the gender of the parent.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 05:13 PM

That’s why milk banks and wet nurses and stuff exist. You can admit you just forgot that there are women out there who have lactation issues. Women’s issues aren’t 100% caused by men, you know; they’re not that one-dimensional.

They’re not comparable, which is why they’re protected and compensated on different scales of magnitude. People agree to those terms, most often in similar situations to people who agree to sperm donation: people who happen to be down on their luck financially and are okay with using their body to make money through official, legally protected channels. While I don't think a man should be shamed for adopting, the conception comparison (sperm bank vs surrogate) isn't similar. Conversely, does tha…

Men can’t breastfeed so they shouldn’t be allowed to be single parents. There are women who can’t breastfeed. Should they be allowed to be parents?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 04:29 PM
-2

Bad people who violate their contracts or dumb people who don’t read their contracts don’t mean that those protections don’t exist. Bad parents are always going to exist. Wanting to be a single father is not indicative of being a bad person. In fact, those cases you linked were all involving women or couples.

There are plenty of women who cannot breastfeed or cannot breastfeed sufficiently. Should they be disqualified from motherhood?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 04:17 PM

Literally all of those are covered through any reasonable surrogacy contract. A solid chunk of surrogacy fees are legal for a reason. What happens between two consenting adults is none of your business, right?

Rizz is not the ability to qualify yourself when you’re unqualified. It’s the ability to either prevent yourself from being disqualified when you’re already qualified or to make yourself stand out from a panel of qualified candidates. Think job interview skills.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 02:16 PM

This is not naivety, it’s rationalization. They’re choosing what they think will bring them happiness at great personal cost. It’s a conscious choice, they’re not ignorant of the facts. Presenting them with the facts won’t change anything in that state. You’re the naive one here, and you’ve convinced yourself otherwise in a bid to look down on other women.

Ability and capacity Physical ability and moral capacity. I should have specified. My bad. I still don’t think that’s common. No one wants to treat the person they love as less than. It’s whether love is there in the first place. I don’t think it’s hard to tell when it is and when it isn’t. Making people wait for physical intimacy is fine. It’s only an issue if the standards differ from person to person.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/25 02:46 PM

They would have to be outliers or the entire system would collapse. In what world do guys commonly have the ability and capacity to pump and dump at will? Guys being settled for would be a rare occurrence. Men, en masse, would be the ones being competed for. You’re still only thinking of a tiny subset of men. The rest of us are just out here, choping for one person—one person— out there to genuinely love us so we can love them back. No one would care if people actually stuck to their rules. But …

I don’t. It’s not a common phenomenon; the quantifiers that were left out are important to the discussion. I think on some level, the dude who gets settled for knows he’s being settled for. I’m not going to have sympathy for him. I’m also not going to have sympathy for women who wanted to play the game and lost. That’d be an insult to their intelligence. Of course they broadcast it; not in their words, but in their actions and their history. Yet these outliers rely on a constant stream of willin…

There might be a small minority who think they’re invincible who see things that way. It’s a learned behavior; there must be positive reinforcement coming from somewhere. Naturally, it takes two to tango. They wouldn’t exist if their existence weren’t purposeful. So why do they exist if women don’t want them to exist?

I think that's a lot of what makes people uncomfortable about past partners in the first place: comparison. It doesn't matter if you're at the top of the leaderboard, the fact that there is a leaderboard at all means that there is inherent comparison. You're inherently an option, even if that means you were one of the better options. It must feel scary to be in such a precarious position all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 01:21 PM
3

Appearance or whatever isn't a priority for me at least, but genuine love is. The moment you're an option or less than ideal in their eyes, I don't think that's possible. For some reason, both men and women treat just having access to a woman as this end-all-be-all luxury to be grateful for, and like, really? That's sad.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 01:06 PM

You’re proposing a one-dimensional relationship. It’s not hard to imagine.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/25 11:05 PM

If someone’s first solution to any and all relationship problems is physical intimacy, I’d be immediately concerned. If someone’s proposed method of deepening the relationship is always physical intimacy, I’d be turned off entirely. If the only connection another human being is offering me is physical, I wouldn’t be interested. Men aren’t as simple as you think.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/25 10:50 PM

I wouldn’t go near someone with that philosophy, no matter how touch-starved I am or end up becoming.

/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/25 11:47 PM

Is it not just the difference between unreciprocated giving and unconsented, unexpected taking? I feel those are fairly standard terms in the English language. We could go deeper into the nuance if you wanted, agency, cost, benefit, etc, but those are fairly well understood within the context of the discussion.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/25 02:57 PM

If sacrificing for them wouldn’t be fulfilling, you shouldn’t put them in a position to be sacrificed in the first place. That’s just using people.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/25 02:46 PM

Seek your fulfillment and don’t sacrifice it for someone else, but also don’t sacrifice others for it. Having to add that disclaimer is concerning, yeah.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/25 02:39 PM

If you can even imagine leaving a partner of 50 years and see fulfillment arising from that rather than from being together with them, that’s gross, yes; that’s what I said.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/25 02:22 PM
17

If you don’t consider being with someone in their old age, or when they’re fragile or weak, fulfilling, you probably shouldn’t be with them as a life partner in the first place. Sacrifice shouldn’t come into it. That idea is gross.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/25 02:04 PM

You should never sacrifice your fulfillment for someone else. Likewise, you should never sacrifice your fulfillment for someone else.
