I don't agree that is what the thread is about, OP never mentions family in his original post he merely compares male to female. That conversation may be happening in other parts of the thread but I was replying to the claim in the OP as in male vs female, family relationship irrelevant.

His study also refers to difficulty in methodology, it being impossible to find statistics that are reliable or complete for a ton of poorer countries, neonatal stats in many countries etc. methodology issues are always inevitable in studies like this.
