Yeah this is the same as a fad diet or the new years resolution, bound to fail because humans don't have that much willpower

Don't dwell on it. You now have the "perfect" response if you ever hear it again.

So the root isn't really fully understood. You can name a few "attractive" traits, but how they are witnessed and received is a personal experience. The good news is you don't need to understand it. His last line, "we need confidence" is what we all need to thrive. Going with that is about 80%. The rest is either uncontrollable or atleast not going to work all the time. And the great thing about confidence is you can constantly practise it in everything you do.

So what's your plan? You are here so I know you aren't giving up. Tell us where you will be in a year, and how you will get there.

Well you have just pointed out what you need, which is a good thing. Just learn to chat to people and the rest comes naturally. And the good thing about this problem, is there is literally unlimited material on helping yourself. From books to videos, there is a huge wealth on stuff to try out. Go have fun!

You should start doing weights if you want that. I recommend nsuns (you will find it in Reddit). But it's almost besides the point in what you want. Use this fitness drive to get you what you want. Sign up to social clubs that involve this, maybe running clubs, climbing or cycling. Anything that will get you to just meet new people. That's your first step. When you can make friends in any situation that's when it starts to become natural to talk to girls. Natural is easy, and easy comes across w…

I'm guessing you are a teenager? You mentioned grade, so I'm assuming high school or similar? So this is a great time to start learning this, and a great experience at rejection. Sure it hurts and I'm sure you wish you could change it. But I promise she isn't the "one" she isn't the only girl ever. So pick yourself up, look around at what else is going on in your world and learn to move forwards. Personally I'd say try and be her friend. Only do this if you can truly move on and not be bitter (I…

Try to get people's numbers, that way you have a little more control over the flow of the conversation. In this case, be your normal fun self when you see her, sure if she asks for help on work then help her, but just chat like you would anyway. Then if you are getting along well ask her out. It's always better in person when possible, as you can read it so much easier than a text. Other than that, take her on a date if you get the chance. If there isn't a "spark" then just see it as a great nig…

This is really all you can do. Is she flakes then it sucks, but constant texting is odd at this point.

Definitely agree. Not that it doesn't work in the UK, but you definitely stand out and can verge into being brash quite easily.

It's probably the same (internal) conversation he had that lead to the text. "Would it be weird if I text her again, see if anything happens?" If you want it, then go for it (I'm almost certain he just has), the worst that will happen is that you won't talk to each other again, and sounds like you just had that. Only way is up!

What you are thinking about is mad. Everything ends, but why concentrate on that? Do stop yourself getting in a rollercoaster cause you know it's going to end? Do you stop watching a TV series, playing a game, seeing friends, starting a job, going to sleep juts because these things end? No, of course not. If you wanna be single forever then sure. Carry on worrying about endings. If not, live in the now. Have fun in life at quit worrying. (Isn't there a Disney film with this message?)

Smiles are a damn powerful tool. Reading "How to win friends and influence people" and they have a chapter all about smiles. Personally I really have to change my humour by text as I feel my jokes pass when I can show a grin alongside them.

Man 9 months is a long time... If you are naturally enjoying messaging then try and continue it, and maybe it will go somewhere? If you are really keen maybe try and call or Skype or something. But best advice is probably to move on. Find someone closer.

Go for this. It isn't normal that people are upfront about how many people they have slept with. If it goes terribly then maybe after confront it. But at the same time, there could be a ton of reason someone doesn't perform. Just go for it, no point putting on any further pressure.

The weekness here (and what sometimes this sub focuses too much on) is that charm is not restricted to women. Practise talking to people, question them, learn anything and everything about them. This could be friends, strangers, a person working at a shop. Anyone. Have genuine interactions with anyone and everyone, and soon it will be just as normal to "charm" the stranger on the street or the women in the bar.

It is a painful side to this sub, when I feel like what would really help those guys is just a couple more years of life and experience.

Agreed. There is a reason why most new year's resolutions fail, and it's because people all of a sudden go full in. Going cold turkey on one of these things is enough to set yourself up to fail. It's great that you have decided these things are what you want to change, but just decide a few steps and a few targets. Any step is progress.

I think I could look 9/10 if... You said it all here. Why are you posting on here? You say you are 19 but it could be written by a 15 year old. You need to grow up. You really want to flirt with girls, then break up with this gf who you obviously don't care about and only want sex from, then go out and learn how not to be self-obsessed.

Hmm that is always tricky. Luckily my good friends grew out of clubs. Try and get a happy medium (understand this is hard due to location) but there are a lot of "bars" that basically have a club as a part of it. What I'm saying is that other than a basic bob, you can hopefully avoid it being a big part of your game.

Why do you need to dance? To go to clubs? I'm assuming if you can't dance it's because you don't like it, and if you don't like dancing why go to a club? I have never really enjoyed clubbing, so rarely do it and never feel like I'm missing out. So why not skip the club? Aim for bars instead.

Great ted talk about rejection in everyday life, but easily applied to seduction. Touches on being social aware through asking "is that weird" and how he desensitized himself to rejection.

Of all the other points here, this is the truth.

I see what you are saying, and its true, it is a super easy way to connect. However, it will probably end there because of that ease. Imagine if a guy was picking you up, and for what ever reason you aren't interested, it's so much easier to give out an ig (and a another follower to add to the number), than to say no or even to give a number. What I'm saying is you are right, but i don't think having ig will lead to more girls.
/r/seduction07/10/18 11:23 PM
2

Do you actually think it will benefit you? If you are making it for pickup, I'm sure there are far, far more productive ways you can use that time. Build your life, then live it. You will meet far more people this way rather than trying to fake followers on ig.

Love these series. Maybe not good advice... But funny nonetheless.

Never underestimate the placebo affect. It's been proven time and time again to aid even physical suffering. Heck, even knowing that you are taking a placebo can still help due to believing in the placebo affect. The mind is fucked up, but is damn powerful and able to over come a lot.

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis "the seducer"? I thought not. It's not a story the /r/seduction would tell you.

\Numbers game, yes. But not sure of the scripted part. Other countries are often pretty open with dinner invites, and it didn't show how many people were there - could of been a big gathering.

Exactly what I wanted to say. He is just a person, talking to other people. And looking at it doesn't seem weird or awkward, just chatty and friendly which seems to work.

Yeah for sure, and I guess they could of cut it out, but from the video no negative opinions on it. It wasn't like any of the girls turned around and said he was creepy or a weirdo.

Iv seen what you mean, but with club photographers. The guy I see, is well known, and is used to being around girls in the club and casual about it. His confidence is what is attractive.

Ask her out again. Either she says no or says yes... The only extra complication is that you need to make it clear it's not a relationship, obviously don't say this when you ask her out, and it may not even need straight up saying.

Could be slight anxiety or nervousness. The first time was just that, a pretty girl and a part of you was nervous and eager to perform and suddenly the pressure got the best. This only gets worse cause the second time, not only are you nervous to perform, you are thinking of the last time. Try not to put it all on the line, if it doesn't happen then be honest with her, and at the same time don't let things end. Just cause you can't get hard remember that there are two people. Less you is more he…

In an odd situation myself, been trying to see this girl whos (kind of) in a friends group im in. One of us have been busy or away so rarely seen her, and shes invited me to her NY party... Could be a chance but at the same time im not going all out on her. Will see who turns up.

Iv been going bald since I was 16, and when I was 17/18 i decided to shave it all off. Im now 22 and agree with a lot of what you said. It is about accepting it, and becoming happy with the way you look. I know now that with my hair all off, I look better than i ever did with long hair. For anyone balding, cutting it all off isnt a bad look! And will probably be better than the alternatives.

I agree this video is more of an intro to build stuff up. Check out the longer video I posted above. A lot more info to help out. I mean it could happen after just this, but actions like you mentioned or your hand on her back or leg would be better steps.

Just have fun, if its the difference between standing doing nothing, and having conversation with someone its obvious which to pick. Also remember that girls mostly have girl friends.

Sounds good buddy, and sounds like you already understand what you are doing wrong. The other day a thread was posted in here and also linked to this video. I think it could definitely help you out with what you need, it is a little lengthy, but watch Atleast half of it to get you a good sense of how to improve. Mostly its all really straightforward once you realise.

Nice work, how about adding a compliment to start or just adding in some physical contact as progression.

Feel like I read a lot of myself in this. Definitely come to realise that I have no idea about the dance bit - let me know about the correct move for the ass dance bit? - but had more luck just like you did sitting around chatting at bars. You should of definitely asked for her number!
