Women are not as mysterious or complicated as we sometimes make them out to be.

Thanks for that! What subreddits are good for erotica as you described?

When a woman is on top, she can control how her lady bits are getting stimulated. If she is orgasming without your help, let her do her thing. If you grab her hips and start grinding, she may not be able to go at the pace and get the right stimulation to orgasm. Ask her what she wants. She might want you to maneuver her. Or, she might want you to use your hands to stimulate her in any number of ways which will heighten her experience (cup breasts, pinch nipples, slap butt, pull hair, choke, care…

Yeah, sounds like he is hitting on female friends or acquaintances. He needs to be grateful for those social connections and enjoy them for what they are. Not fuck them all up by hitting on any women who shows an interest in him.

I agree, much applies to both. I am not waiting for eye contact or making too much of it is good advice. A couple small but I think important differences regarding eye contact and day/nightgame: An approach in a club/bar is pretty clear what is happening. It is an environment in which people frequently interact to meet others for romance/sex. She is dolled up and maybe feeling sexy and dressed to attract (whether she admits it or not). You can get to flirtation/escalation faster and easier if sh…

This really feels like night game (as I understand it - too old for that) - day game is different.

I remember, when a younger man, having that experience in Dupont Circle circa 1999. Less so in the Castro circa 1993, interestingly.

Improving day game and optimizing your attractiveness and opportunities to meet women IRL is probably more useful. But here's what I'm (55M) trying. I have a good, honest FB profile about who I am and a curated selection of travel, adventures, group shots from sport/hobby events, and judicious reposts of social/humor topics. My IG has less personal info (eg, no work info) but a dozen or so good pics that, I hope, are interesting. My overall strategy is to approach women in hobby/interest groups …

I will not take a womans first response as written in stone. Fair!

Interesting observation about women and boyfriends. I mostly agree, But I wouldn't mess with an older woman who's had a boyfriend say six plus months and the boyfriend has vacationed with her kids and there's group pictures on Facebook and all that jazz.

Since about 2016, a lot of women are gonna be offended by that lie, even if he is clearly just spoofin'.

Your frame/focus is wrong. You are getting nervous because you are focused on connecting with women. Mistake. Focus on being amused and having a good time. You are in the bar to have fun, NOT to meet women and stop the loneliness. You should have the perspective that you respect yourself and if a person is taking up your time that it should be of value to you (and you should, in the context of a bar, value entertainment/fun); otherwise, move on. Also, you should consider it a 2-way interaction: …

Sounds like you don't need seduction advice at this point. Checkout the relationship_advice, dating, and dating_advice subs for how to maintain and grow a healthy relationship. Of note, those subs can be pretty hostile to age gaps involving women under about 25yo. I don't think it's particularly fair, but echoing what another redditor here said, I recommend proceeding with caution. Men and women grow and change a lot in their early twenties and if she's drawn to you for your maturity it may not …

Let's say for some the reason... My bad, I missed that phrase. I'll delete my comment.

TL/DR: she is not romantically interested and is ignoring the obvious fact that you have feelings for her so that she can continue to get some of her needs (get attention, feel desirable, have someone drama-free and supportive/fun to talk to) met by you. Friend, think about the needs a person has, for sex, friendship, feeling needed, wanted, and attractive, have someone to listen to them, and so forth. Ideally, a romantic partner blends all those things together, typically with the understanding…

I was also thinking she was nervous/shy. You showed that you were fun, respectful, safe (to some degree), attractive, whatever, and warmed up to the idea of being with you. Others mentioned that in the craziness of the club, she also likely wanted to dance with her friends and stuff. Also, alcohol or drugs may have lowered her inhibitions as the night went on. Sounds like you did a great job!

I think the "safety" comes from him not being overly aggressive, not seemingly clearly focused on sex, and having the respect and impulse control to stop when she said stop.

Yeah, you really need to understand the definitions to understand the data how to properly report them. More often than not, I see them reported in correctly. Which is a shame because violence is a problem in which we should all be working towards solutions. The redditor who posted those stats, who claimed to be a social scientist, apparently deleted his or her posts, which is a shame.

Much less dismissing how serious SV can be in so many other circumstances? I don't think I dismissed anything. You phrase this like an either/or...This isn’t a zero sum game. I don't think I implied that, but to be clear, men could have such FB groups alongside women's groups. Men (in the US) tend to be lumbering and individualistic and have not done a good job of self-advocacy. Thankfully, I'm seeing a lot of women (not on reddit - more from trad-leaning YouTube types) actually pushing back aga…

Your citing of CDC data is appreciated, and you supported your point that sexual violence is more common than experiencing a plane crash. A small but important niggle: your responses have blurred terms such as rape, SA, and sexual violence. The latter term, as employed by CDC, encompasses rape, unwanted contact (eg, butt slap or kiss without consent), and verbal harassment (eg, cat-called). It doesn't sound like those women-only forums are really focused on SV-prevention per se, but a wide range…

Sometimes you just miss a text or get interrupted mid-read and completely forget about it. Double that possibility if you're older and very busy or younger and drink a lot. Missing a text is not a good look by any means, but at least for me, it's not a deal-breaker. Especially if they are apologetic and don't make a habit of it.

Give her a day or so to respond. If no response, I would give somebody the benefit of the doubt but it would certainly be a yellow flag. After the day or so, I would text again and mention something about how you are working out your schedule and need to know by x to get it confirmed. I do the same when A woman gives the "yeah maybe" response. Women who are playing games or just are socialized to believe they should not seem too eager will snap to and respond if interested when you are showing r…
