I'm telling you that I worked harder than any man I know, with very few exceptions. And I was paid less in my career, despite the fact that I'm one of the most senior and highest ranked employees in a primarily male dominated industry. It's not a myth. I have to achieve twice as much to receive half the credit as my colleagues. As a woman who worked 60+ hours a week, sometimes 14 hours a day, to keep a roof over our heads and food in our kitchen...while also being the sole caregiver to my disabled and dying husband: Go fuck yourself.
