Being a bad listener is killing your game. Here's how to be a good listener.I like to get other people to tell a story and then occasionally instead of saying "yes" or "uhuh" I like to reframe what they have said like I'm asking for clarification to highlight something funny or a point they have made. "So wait, he ate the whole thing?" "So you didn't speak the language at all and you were alone there for how long!?" Seems to show that you are paying attention and allow people to highlight the incredulous parts of their story. | /r/seduction | 27/02/16 03:44 AM
Haven't seen this tip on here, so I'll share it with y'all: Take girls on dates in the rainI use my tinfoil umbrella, grab her by the waist and tell her I'm protecting her from government mind control rays. | /r/seduction | 15/02/16 11:03 PM
Should I 'own' nerdy things, or try to hide them from women?Keep tasteful nerdy stuff. Be yourself but a lot of nerdy stuff is tacky. Have posters? Frame them. Make sure they are generally artistically and aesthetically pleasing and they match the room. Hiding a part of yourself is always going to set yourself up for failure. But a bunch of naked anime girls are going to be a bit tacky and abrasive to lady guests. Check /r/malelivingspace for more specific advice. | /r/seduction | 11/08/15 03:11 AM
I lose so much wit and intelligence when I'm nervous. What needs more work? My composure or my wit?Your confidence needs more work. Working on your 'wit' usually involves trying to memorize funny one liners or clever responses to common questions. It's dumb, it never works the way you want it to and the people it works on aren't worth your time anyway. "Working on being clever until no one could possibly say no" is nowhere near as good as "Working on being confident until you don't care if someone says no". Confidence is really all that matters. If you're comfortable you'll be naturally funny… | /r/seduction | 21/08/14 09:27 PM
How do you respond to the "I have a boyfriend" without using the same old "well he's a lucky man"?This is really the best option. Any time I read a canned response on here I can't imagine it being executed well in a real life situation. It just seems artificial and I think most people would get nervous trying to remember the line. Stammering something clever but fake is way worse than just saying "Dang, I thought we hit it off." Then part ways saying it was a nice chat or something. You don't lose face, you don't have to remember a silly line, maybe someone will have watched you leave amicab… | /r/seduction | 14/04/14 06:13 AM
