Why do we use Clooney as an example? I've never thought he was hot. Then again I'm mid 20s so he's just old to me. Maybe we use one of the Marvel Chrises 😂

That's the weirdest part. I've heard the wall was anywhere between 18 and 40. Like you reach whatever 'milestone' but then it's moved so we still feel the pressure.

Not romantic, but I met a girl who I'm friends with (4 years and counting).

They want us to be grateful that they found something 'worthwhile' in us, since it's such a hard task. I mean look how hard he worked. /s

She's 17. Who knows how old he is. Also I feel like he has to know it's not actually okay, most people get that abdominal surgery is serious. It's more like he doesn't care, or cares about his dick more.

Gifts for him categories -sex -sports -tech & tech accessories -beer -bbq -tools -beards/mustache/shaving -whiskey -outdoors (camping/hiking/fishing) -guns Beer and whiskey are separate categories since beer seems to be about making it while whiskey seems to be a collectors thing? The weird (gross) thing is that if your search 'gifts for dad' it changes from 'sex' to 'I don't want my daughter(s) having sex. But otherwise it's the same.

My little sister is 5'11 and at 113. Which is up from 97, recovering from an eating disorder. Her doctor wants her at 130. She's so thin, I've seen models who seem healthier compared to her. They legit want women with eating disorders since it signals self esteem issues. Also smaller/thinner women are easier to intimidate or straight up force with violence.

I've found that the more conventionally attractive the girl, the more men will interpret literally anything as flirting/interest. Seriously, some man (looked to be in his 40s) was trying to hit on my little sister (20 now, 17 at the time). She could be a model, both due to bone structure and she's just so skinny. After she was dismissive and tried to ignore him for 30+ minutes, and I even told him to back off and leave her alone. She finally told him she wished he would just fucking die because …

The nail salon near me plays HGTV and Hallmark movies, but that's a place that's geared towards women. The gym I went to before the plague had a mix of news, sports, and soap operas.

With humans repopulation would need like 500 to avoid inbreeding, and a few thousand to continue the upward evolution trend. It was never avout 'repopulating'.

I've had guys use the mental health/ADHD excuses for bad hygiene. I have mental health issues and ADHD. I know out of sight out of mind is a problem for me. That's why my bathroom counter is cluttered and so is my shower shelf. They remind me to do all the steps. I set alarms to make sure I manage my time in the mornings and evenings. It's not that hard.

Most of the ace people I've met have been on the autism spectrum or have ADHD. So I think there may be a link there. Like overstimulation would be a negative so doesn't want a physical relationship with anyone. Generally hard to connect with people since communication styles are different. Etc.

We think this is due to hunter gatherer days. Hunters (men) typically had better depth perception, while gatherers (women) had better color vision because it helped to identify which plants were edible vs poison.

I blocked and deleted him, plus several friends of his. I don't have a big social media following, so anytime someone new follows me I look thru their profile to see if anything reeks of him. I also moved 3 states away and he doesn't have my address. I was 19 and moved with my family, not to get away from him. It just worked out that way. The messed up thing is when this was going down I was only angry at him since he cheated (IN MY CAR). Later, after much therapy, I started realizing he was abu…

I think the legend is kinda sus too. Like Hera the goddess of marriage and family makes a man kill his wife and children? Like if she killed Hercules or his mom for Zeus being unfaithful that makes sense. Also Hercules 2nd wife supposedly killed him on accident by using centaur blood as a 'love potion'. If they're already married why does she need a love potion? Unless she meant to kill her husband or he wasn't acting right? Kinda sounds like Hercules was abusive to wife one and their kids and i…

I saw this post on Tumblr a while back. About how cat lady isn't an insult to women. Companionship comes in many forms, so if you don't see a man around it's because she's done the math and a Hitachi and an animal who shits in a box scored higher than a man. In this case it's horses. Horses are better than men.

Music wise I think male country music can be included. There's a lot of get her drunk, this is how a woman should act, sexualizing, defending shitty behavior, and straight up abuse. Mainstream rap/r&b is definitely problematic but a lot of lesser known artists and female artists are great. Admittedly I listen to a lot of top 40 and tiktok popular songs tho, music helps me tune out the world so sometimes I don't even hear the lyrics. 😅

Question, what about when they give you an option. I'm chatting with a guy who asked me to dinner or 'we can also meet up for coffee in the daylight first, so you can feel safer'. I had mentioned that I'm cautious about giving out my number before meeting and getting a feel for the person, and then a few hours later he offered. Is that okay?

Is it bad I still think it's cool? Of course I only ever go with my nephews now so I may be biased. Still love my giant brownie with the sparklers.

See I did the poly thing and for the first few months it was great. I have abandonment issues and having multiple people to go to for attention was good...for a while. The deeper bond, the feeling of security, those never surfaced. So, in the end I just felt used.

I'm told to be afraid of getting older cuz sexual desirability and all that. But like...that doesn't factor in. Mostly I'm worried about getting older because that means I'm closer to death and the great unknown and all that. I am looking forward to graduating college (finally) and hopefully being financially secure in the next few years.

There's also a chance they looked it up and saw that it can vary between women and based on any birth control she might be on. Asking seems to be a safe bet.

We don't know a lot unfortunately. It seems that it was typically thrown for the groom to be by his military friends, since military service was mandatory for Spartan boys. There was a dinner and toasts for the groom. We think the significance was going from boy to man, ready to have a family and raise the next generation of soldiers and all. However we don't have any primary sources that address this, so there's a lot of guesswork.

Like if both soon to be spouses have a night that's about being with your friends and doing your favorite things, as an acknowledgment that you'll be moving forward into being a unit and won't have as much time for those nights as you go on to make a life with someone, that'd be cool. But this fixation on strippers and drinking excessively to be 'free' of someone you're supposed to love? Hell nah.

So the tradition behind it makes sense. It was Spartan in origin and it wasn't about a last night of freedom, it was more acknowledging the mile stone. It was a dinner with toasts. We think it was a celebration signifying another step from changing from boy to man. Ready to support a family. Then some dude in the 1890s had a party thrown for him, with an 'exotic' dancer and it became a new kind of tradition.

Maybe because it's an ego boost? Paying for sex means they're not desirable enough to get it for free.

For people who can't listen it's a spoof of a woman asking if she's the asshole for calling her husband a dick after he murdered her whole family, set over some seahorse art.

You said middle school and I thought the couple also knew each other since middle school and maybe it was an inside joke and then there was a real ring later. But no. Hopes dashed.

Bella in the books doesn't have much of a personality besides loves Edward and wants to sparkle. Which I think was intended to help market to teen girls, especially middle school girls. Many of us didn't have the budget to do whatever hobby we liked and many of us were lonely in some way looking to connect but having trouble. So we retreated into books and the internet if it was available. Seeing this supposedly cultured immortal love this blank canvas we projected ourselves onto helped our self…

I like medium dicks. Too small and you can't feel it, too big and you get hit in the cervix over and over which is NOT pleasant. I told one ex that he was too big and he basically said bullshit since the vagina is meant for pushing out babies and his dick wasn't as big as a baby. 🙄 On the other hand I was honest when one ex asked how it felt and I told him I couldn't feel anything. Cuz he was like 2 inches and like dime sized around. He got so pissed.

Sometimes us bi people, especially when we've just come out, feel the need to prove ourselves as being into both and don't realize how fucked up the concept of being a unicorn is. So we go along with it. I know I did at 19. Now at 25 I just feel used but can't change the past.

Exactly. 'What were you wearing?' The first guy who molested me was in his 20s when I was 9/10. I was wearing a boxy glitter t-shirt and ladybug and butterfly bedazzled capris and carrying my Bratz backpack. 'Well you've always been tall for a girl, maybe he thought you were older?' People mistook me for 11/12 when I was 9. I still looked very much like a kid. Also he was my mom's boyfriend's son. He knew how old I was, he was at my 10th birthday party. Thank God I'm so tall now. Being 6'4 has i…
