Why does the first thing we say about something have to be a shallow insult? Are we that desperate to feel superior to everyone? Have you watched the ManWomenMyth video? This way of reporting deaths or tragedies is not isolated, in many cases it could be equal deaths 5 men and 5 women that would be reported as 10 people dead 5 of which are women. Doesn't help that most combat vets where recruited from the poor, most of us where completely fucked before we shipped. During the pre-mob psych evaluations I remember them telling us to do as poorly as possible, that way when we get back and do the post-mob eval it doesn't show damage.

I would be ok with banning clear trolls or anyone advocating violence, other than that it could do more PR damage than these posters themselves if we are seen as anti-free speech. Ha ha, I used Gimp. I didn't do any color correction, the photos where all BW and one colored, or is that not what color correction means? I just started teaching myself to do little things like this, so of course you're right I could use lots of help. Nothing beats free right, :D

The only reason the military cares about this issue at all is that it is expensive. Highly trained(expensive) soldiers getting out of their contracts early? That's stealing from old uncle Sam, and what's worse is dead soldiers can't even be put into prison for their crimes. What a tragedy. P.S. I should admit I am a bit biased against the intentions of the U.S. Military after 10 years serving them.

I am able to understand it on a mental level, but it is so hard to change the programming inside of me. I am confident and wonderful with any men, but my body remembers the pain and reminds me whenever I see a woman. I get adrenaline, sometimes my hands will shake. I am able to hide it and none of my female friends seem to know or they think I am shy.

This is one of the benefits I agree, I have always known that I have already lived through hell and haven't feared anything else. Even in Iraq I was able to use my memories of that hell to stay positive and keep moving forward where others could not. I know mentally that I don't have to be ashamed of my past and myself, but it is so hard to FEEL that. It usually never impedes me except around women, I have that lingering anxiety and feeling of having no value.
