| 1 | I (male) was expected to risk getting infected by being made to run errands while my sister was excused because she had 'prior commitments'. I've just found out that the prior commitment was a visit to a nail salon.Wait, you have a family of your own, but you're staying at your parents to help them out because of Wuhan Flu? What about your own family, who is watching after them? And if your sister lives there too (I'm assuming...), why is *she* not tasked with helping out? I'm assuming again, but I think the answer to that is: she is too immature and self-centered to be expected to help anyone but herself. And OP is the responsible one. Personally, I think OP should be home taking take of his own family, a… | /r/MensRights | 15/03/20 04:43 PM |

| 3 | Trump to change domestic violence and sexual assault definitionsFirst paragraph: of course that was sarcasm. I thought it was obvious. Second paragraph: serious as a heart attack. Woman running the local DV shelter actually said that to me. And she was serious. My response to her was pretty much exactly what yours was. | /r/MensRights | 03/02/20 01:25 AM |
| 2 | Someone is literally in tears, because their request for preferential treatment based on their gender was denied. If the one team is "like 80% guys" then I'm assuming that means 20% women. So having a "second team of all girls" means that there is *not* an "equal representation of men and women". It would be majority women. It would be fair only if one team was only men, per rules. Which it is not, they allow women on the team. To have a team that is only women per rules, is by definition, discriminatory. What an utter lack of awareness. And math. | /r/MensRights | 02/02/20 06:59 PM |
| 1 | Taylor Swift song called ‘The Man’, which is about how her life could be “different” if she was a man. (Posted because the 2019 song is re-emerging)Reading that hot take actually hurt my brain. It's a friggin' pop song, not a sociology thesis. | /r/MensRights | 02/02/20 06:49 PM |

(Posted because the 2019 song is re-emerging)If she were a man, she would be an unknown because no one cares about mediocre songwriters unless they are cute teenage girls. | /r/MensRights | 02/02/20 06:44 PM |

| 4 | Trump to change domestic violence and sexual assault definitionsBecause everyone knows only women are victims of DV. If a man gets hit by his wife, it's because he did something to deserve it. Source: woman at the local DV shelter, who told me this when I called in need of services. | /r/MensRights | 02/02/20 06:25 PM |

| 4 | Petition to Remove Judge who arrested a man for criticizing her after she gave custody to the mother and the child was found dead under her careFrom my personal experience with a very similar situation, this judge is clearly violating the father's right of freedom of speech. | 1 | Why do women always get the kids?I replied to your OP, something isn't right in your case. Sounds like the agreement needs to be reworked and/or is not following statute. If your lawyer is advising you to take a bum deal, it's because he/she doesn't want to take the time or effort to take it before a judge. Not a Lawyer, but I advise you to not sign said agreement! (And, possibly shop for a new lawyer.) | /r/MensRights | 16/09/18 12:06 AM |
| 5 | Why TF is child support so damn much? Not a Lawyer, but in the state I reside (the law is fairly typical, your state may vary) child support amounts are determined by two things: 1; number of overnights with each parent, and 2; gross income of each parent. It's an algebraic formula: the number are plugged in, a dollar amount comes out. That's it. If your overnights are 6/14 (42.85%) and your income is close to hers (based on provided pay statements, I assume) there is no reason why you should be paying her a third of your income.
