I’m bad at Reddit too sorry. I’m constantly letting myself be disappointed and shocked by the conversations I have on here haha. I think I’ll leave these subs and stick to cats and namenerds all this is a bit too disheartening for me :/ I don’t think my dad had a lot of trouble to be honest he had girlfriends before my mum too. Actually he cheated on my mum throughout their relationship but she stayed because she loves him. He left her for a younger woman. She wasn’t reliant on him financially e…

Which women are you asking….? I don’t date but I do have preferences that I suppose id look for. My friends are the same - they have specific types that they find attractive and seek that out. Maybe when speaking to insecure guys who ask if I value appearance I’d downplay it so they don’t get upset but I am honest amongst other women and amongst men I know. My

Well we are women though. I have sisters and cousins and aunts and friends who are women too. And I wouldn’t have believed people actually think this before I became active online. My dad is 5ft 6 and (now) shorter than my mum - I wouldn’t even be alive if this shit about all women liking chiselled adonis men were true. None of the women in my life are with super fit guys and they don’t care.

Not than a scrawny 6ft guy. Ever heard of Manny Pacquiao? Connor McGregor isn’t considered very tall either.

How do you know that?

It’s not AT ALL nigh impossible honestly. MOST women do not orgasm during penetrative sex. There usually is no communication. Women don’t want to offend their sexual partners by making suggestions or saying that don’t enjoy themselves so most fake it. Men don’t want to bring it up at risk of sounding inexperienced or simply because they don’t consider their partners’ pleasure. It’s absolutely a lack of communication. ‘According to a 2015 internet-based survey published in the Journal of Sex & Ma…

No we aren’t still getting pleasure! I never said there is pleasure involved for women. They’re using our bodies for their own pleasure is what I said. Most women do not orgasm from casual sexual encounters. And sex isn’t as easily attainable for all women as you lot seem to believe. A pleasurable sexual experience is actually very rare - a consensus amongst women (even those in relationships). It’s not a victory!!! It’s literally a loss! If I am looking for intimacy, connection or even just ple…

Plenty of women understand loneliness. And women of all shapes and sizes are not accepted as easily as you think. I know big girls who have never had a match on OLD. It’s not as easy as you think for us and we aren’t immune to loneliness. I’m lonely every single day. I’d rather be alone and lonely than be manipulated and discarded.

Wouldn’t you rather be manipulated and discarded than simply be left alone? I’d rather nothing happened to me than something that causes me pain.

I live alone. I go days without using my voice sometimes and leaving the house. I crave emotional intimacy so so much. I do not want to be used for sex - it’s not intimate at all. It’s not pleasurable and it feels even lonelier and more worthless afterwards. I’m trying to be content by myself even with the knowledge that I may never find a relationship that I want to be in.

Well put! I honestly don’t have any desire to have sex because of the pain. The pain turns me off so much that even with attractive people I don’t feel like it.

But it’s not a win. Sex isn’t a ‘win’ for a lot of women precisely because they are used and their bodies are used for someone else’s pleasure. And being used for it - gaining no real connection to people using you - and constantly being harassed and molested my men who are trying to gain access to your body so they can use it is not fun. It is not winning.

Fair yeah I think you summed it up by saying it’s all subjective - but... the fact that it’s subjective kinda says it’s not a universal need

Well many people are asexual (edit: I’m an idiot - just reread your comment and see you mentioned that) and don’t need or desire sex so I wouldnt oversimplify it in such a way. Many women also lose the drive for sex as they get older (men too) which would imply it’s, again, not a NEED. Even if the other parter is unhappy that still doesn’t mean that they need to have sex. It’s like sugary food or shopping - something that can make you happier but you can get the social interaction and intimacy a…
