I get that. I'm just saying they have already done that research. Millions and millions of dollars of it and know exactly which products maximize profit from shelf space. The assumption that changing that would be a good thing makes no sense. Retail shelf space is one of the most heavily analyzed metrics in retail, and the split reflects the population somewhat. I just don't see how we can assume that they must just have it wrong and could make more money if they just changed.

There is a reason the shelf space is already split that way, it's not a hole in the market it's representative of the 13% black population. 13% of the shelf space, that is the free market.
