You're looking at it completely wrong. It's about talking to each other about stuff. Everybody has celebrity crushes and it's a prett innocent thing to talk about. If you can't talk to your SO about something as normal as that then you must be insecure.

We never eased into it with rules though. I think if you are with someone who you feel comfortable with then you don't feel threatened by comments like that. It's normal to be attracted to other people. I don't really know how to articulate exactly why it is ok to say this stuff about celebrities but not friends but I think it is. Maybe it has to do with the fact that Brad Pitt is already a sex symbol and obviously many women would fantasize about him.

I mean in her defense it is a lot different. My wife and I talk about what celebrities we would fuck and it's totally cool. If she said she wanted to fuck one of my friends I would be hurt and she would be hurt if I said I wanted to fuck one of her friends.
