2	UNO Reverse Card You do need to make above a certain amount - and I agree on the garnishment and judgement thing, but people are kinda assuming this person will be in a position where they make enough money that the garnishment will pay for all of the legal fees and damages in a lifetime. I've been there, it's not such a black and white path as people make it out to be. -1	UNO Reverse Card That's not how it works. You aren't going to sue a person in court, in the US, who has no income, and magically get all of your attorney fees back. If you were going after a tenant with a lease that stipulates that, then would be a different story. EVEN if you got the judge to agree, you still need to collect against future wages. The lawyers will win and you will just end up paying out of pocket for legal fees for maybe a chance to recover damages in the future, except you will have to bring her back to court to collect. It sucks, you don't want to go down that road.
