I see his point but most (all?) people experience some sort of anxiety/fear for situations outside their comfort zones. I think it's more productive being able to deal with fear when it arises (and other emotions) and let them be there, without a need to push them away or cling to them, instead of trying to push it away or make it go away completely. Yeah, I guess. I found it a bit endearing though, to be honest (of course, how you intepret his post is probably largely dependent on his age. I'd guess he's quite young). Sure, if he does this too frequently, it'll probably loose the effect that he's after (I'm assuming he's trying to signal his love to her and her having a positive response to his post), but one time? But I might be wrong, my experience with this type of stuff is very limited, but I hope I'm not.

I agree. If they already are in a relationship, what's wrong with showing some love for your partner? People are different as well, maybe she appreciates this kind of display.
