I’m in my thirties and starting to feel I might be alone for life. I don’t have the same motivation I had in my twenties. Work feels like an endless cycle of effort and climbing levels, but what’s the point? It sometimes feels like just feeding consumerism. Still, I want to believe there’s more—real connections, simple joys, or meaning beyond all this. Have you felt like this? How do you find motivation or purpose? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

It's not about her anymore. It's about yourself. Release your boundaries and give yourself more space and freedom to find your happiness. Let her go.

sorry to hear this story. My parents divorced when I was a teenager and I live with my dad. I would say this affects me a lot and I don't want to have a kid with this unhappy experience.

Hope all the man here could have a peace in mind and a strong heart to go through this process. And don't be pressured in judge yourself. What should happen will be happened. Will update my story after all, hope it will help others too.

I'm struggling too. Your comment reminds me of the song I keep replaying recently. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5-yKhDd64s

Thank you so much to come up with the advice. "never be afraid to fail". I used to give this advice to my friends when I was 20x. I used to change, learn, and challenge my limit a lot. Then I found I totally lost myself because of too much pressure in live, and my overthinking stuff killing me also.

Appreciate your comment. You are right. We both don't want to have kid. I never thought this will happen. After year live together and investing in this house and this relationship, it is hard to move out and start over.

If you still can, try to help someone. Always have someone need your help with, talk to also. Find a person like you to share it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
