you're putting her on a pedestal bro. Also, i dont blame her. Relationships built over the internet are just plain wierd. Why the heck are you talking for 2-3 hours over video call?? dont you have anything else to do? just wait it out and ask her on a date in real life

I think you're right, but I would feel weird doing it. I think the silence is a 'no' you just changed it to a 'yes'. I'm not the insistent type and I'm not a salesman.

Haha yea man you're kind of stuck. Don't pay for a plane ticket if you take that route, say you'll pay her back for a plane ticket so she doesn't flake and leave you out a couple hundred dollars. Yea that would be wierd flying to see a person that you haven't met. If you really like this girl and you're ok with being a wierdo, you could say you're gonna be in the country for some other reason and ask if she wants to hang out. She could say no and even though you wasted time and energy you would …

Its hard to build a real relationship over text. You might just be putting her on a pedestal. As a rule of thumb, to check if a girl is interested, escalate and if she's ok with it then you have the go ahead. If she isn't ok with it then back off for a bit and retry or just move on. Idk how you'd escalate from a country away but if you lived close I'd say the next step from an online relationship would be meeting in person. You probably should just find a new girl.

You lost the argument. The term 'evolutionary biology' is correctly applied and even if it wasn't. The term doesn't matter its the meaning behind it. You have not provided a counter argument so I'm gonna stop replying.

The brain is a part of the body. Evolution effects the brain. Evolution plants in us beliefs that make us more likely to reproduce. Evolution gives us our fear of heights because it makes us more likely to survive. But not all people are scared of heights. Evolution gives us a fear of the dark, because it makes us more likely to survive. Even though everyone isnt scared of the dark. Evolution also effects the things we value in a sexual partner. Women don't usually like needy men. Neediness sign…

You said that "men do the same but they're not shamed for it". Society obviously treats promiscuous men and women differently. You agree with this. I'm not arguing about whether men are or aren't sluts or whether being a slut is a bad thing, I'm merely explaining the source of the difference is connotations. Evolutionary biology implants in us a propensity to view male and female promiscuity as different, yes this discriminates based on gender, I never said it didnt

NGL you sound like this post struck a nerve. Does it make the guys sluts? Yes, but a greater number of sexual partners has different implications to a male than a female. Its just basic evolutionary biology. Slut is an ugly word, yes. It doesn't mean a person that enjoys sex, everyone enjoys sex. It means different things to different people, but generally it means a person who has many sexual partners and sleeps with people without knowing them well. Men are not shamed for it because, as I said…

of course it does. If people in the thread disagree, they're just dumb. The real question is: are you ok with that? Many people see no problem with a partner's past sexual history, but many do. As a religious person, I do. But you don't have to. As a general rule of thumb, it is definitely not wise to pursue long-term relationships with women who have slept around. (to find statistics, google "female sexual partners divorce", or "female sexual partners marriage stability")

a general rule of thumb is that you can let them have second chances or maybe even third chances. Like if you ask her out and she cancels on you, you can ask her out again, but if she cancels on you again then you take away your attention. Furthermore, you have to give them an avenue to win back your favour. Like after they cancel again you can say "ok. text me back when you're free" if they dont text back, move on, if they do, yay you

Yea that's wierd. Either 1)he ghosted you in which case just move on 2) he's busy in which case just wait it out 3) he dropped his phone in a lake see if he's active on social media I guess, but these things sometimes happen, chances are he just ghosted you

are you fucking retarded? if you are attracted to her and she asks you out, say yes. if you are not attracted, say no. what kind of shit-ass-retard mind games are you trying to play, why do you have to be so needy, psycho, and manipulative. goddamn, you're acting like a woman. "if i reject boys maybe theyll be more attracted to me wait wait! no why are they leaving after i reject them"

Better yourself 2. Don't directly make fun of him, literally everyone will see right through that and it probably won't be funny Make a joke that pokes fun at how often he does the things he does (as long as he does do them as often as you say) juxtapose his behaviours with situations that don't fit it. It has to come naturally, it's hard to think of examples that come naturally. For example, he talks about getting pulled over by a cop say something like "why didn't you serenade him with your gu…

I'm not reading this. Going off the title alone, you know how some guys get offended after they are rejected and they insult the girl? Those feelings could just as well be used to block your number.

youre acting like a woman, overthinking and generally being annoying. your post was annoying. Be a man, dm her and ask her out to coffee. if she says yes, woohoo. If she says no then cry it out and get over it. You shouldnt waste your precious energy wondering if she likes you or not. take action. take risks. good luck

dumb question, there isnt an absolutely objective ranking on male attractiveness or female attractiveness so you couldnt compare them. it depends on you man. i dont particularly care about the shallowness of the question but the fact that it sounds like its coming from a place of insecurity irks me

Ignore some of the other posters in the thread man. Theyre talking as if the gym is somewhere that you can't hit on girls. As if brad pit could come up to them in the gym and theyd tell him "sorry im working out maybe some other time". Maybe this chick rejected you, who gives a fuck, it wouldnt have been different had you approached in public. Maybe she didnt even reject you. "Girls don’t generally like being hit on at the gym...we’re there to work out lol and it’s distracting" put any fucking l…
