I just finished a novel that I really enjoyed. The title is "The Strange Case of Jane O" by Karen Thompson Walker. I enjoy stories that have twists and unexpected turns in the plot. This one didn't disappoint at all!

Past the prime age to have children Not really. According to several doctors I've talked to, it depends on your overall health and your reproductive system. The same goes for your partner. I know plenty of women who are older than you, myself included, who have successfully gotten pregnant and had healthy children. So if having children is important to you, then part of your vetting should be to make sure your prospective partner is also healthy

Thank you for your response. I don't quite agree with your statements on gaslighting, simply because they don't quite sync with the professional psychologists and other professionals that I've spoken to on this topic. As for definitions, they can change over time. There are other details in her post that caused me to raise an eyebrow and agree with the other commenter that gaslighting could be taking place. You have made some interesting points but I see no value in debating this point further. …

I don't understand this comment: Fortunately she has described 0 gaslighting But OP wrote: I thought it was funny that the historian and the porn star had similar names so I brought it up in a joking way, and he denied it. *The proof was right there.* He said he got hacked… I was like why would someone hack you and look up this person, and nothing else? This looks like gaslighting to me. He attempted *manipulation of reality* by denying the proof in front of them and then tried *scapegoating* by…

Whoa! Fortunately she has described 0 gaslighting Is this a typo? Because I beg to differ. OP wrote: I thought it was funny that the historian and the porn star had similar names so I brought it up in a joking way, and he denied it. *The proof was right there.* He said he got hacked… I was like why would someone hack you and look up this person, and nothing else? The italics are mine. An example of gaslighting given by the Newport Institute is: *... behaviors are denying something the other pers…

I will have to look for that particular document, but this conclusion comes from Briffault's Law. This, and hypergamy is what Red Pill is based on. Their idea is that men by nature want to spread their seed far and wide. However women are by nature monogamous to one man at a time. Therefore if she cheats she's already gone. There is some merit to this. I've seen several times on the infidelity subs that women feel more monogamous to their affair partner then to their husband or SO. Sometimes to …

The Red Pill documents specifically state that a man should be forgiven for cheating but the woman should not be forgiven.

That's not been my experience. People cheat for validation and attention. Look at the infidelity subs and it's the same thing over and over.

I'm a woman and I'm in a committed relationship with a man. We also have a baby. I think the Red Pill idea that a man should be forgiven for infidelity is absolute nonsense. Why should I waste my Sexual Market Value and possibly be exposed to an STI because my male partner can't keep it in his pants? In my opinion infidelity is a deal breaker regardless whether the cheater is a man or woman. No one should ever feel compelled to stay in a relationship with someone who can't honor their commitment…

Is it possible that because you've up your game that he feels he needs to keep up? IDK. Some guys are just plain competitive and maybe he feels like this has turned into a "best dressed" competition? Please don't get me wrong: I'm in no way trying to discourage you. I think what you're doing is wonderful. I'm just trying to think of why he's reacting this way.

A while back I also started dressing nicer. My husband responded positively and complimented me on my look and style. At first he would ask what the occasion was. I just told him that I wanted to look nicer around him. He also started dressing nicer. Have you told him that you want to look more feminine?

I don't really keep track of what RP men are up to. Can you please give an example?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
