just because you’re courting her doesn’t mean she isn’t required to show effort as well. how does that set things up for the future of whatever you two are working towards? to me that shows you’re going to be doing most of the work in all aspects and shes going to contribute the minimum

I figure you thought that lol no worries. does she ask you questions about yourself in general and express interests in your day/ life? she sounds a little needy in my opinion. how do you break things off with someone for no effort when it sounds like she really doesn’t either.

yeah us women can be just as flaky as men. do you two talk on the phone? honestly the fact that she doesn’t initiate much may just be her personality but I know that can be a little frustrating when you’re interested in someone and always feel like you have to make the first move. men deserve to feel special too. unfortunately you might not be able to change that about her

do you think you may be over thinking it? lol like it sounds like you guys have been doing fine with how you communicate so far

I think it’s a tricky thing to do… I would just suggest not texting back as fast? let some anticipation accumulate between texts. there aren’t a lot of ways around this because like I mentioned before if you change your communication habits drastically it could come off the wrong way to her (this has happened to me where we would text a lot and out of now where the conversation is barely there and i’m wondering what’s going on) i’m a strong believer to go with how you feel you should approach th…

I disagree with this comment. maybe keep in touch less and don’t have as in depth conversation, sure. but I feel like making it so she reaches out and then you reply only when she does is asking for her to stop talking to you all together. especially if you’ve escalated your courtship and she’s digging that it might give her the wrong impression.

Totally agree. I guess my issue lies with feeling pushy or coming off desperate. I’ve mentioned already that I am wanting the real thing and it got ignored lol so I feel like we aren’t on the same page. But maybe he is waiting for me to be more direct

It definitely sucks in the moment tho. Makes you wonder what’s wrong with me or what could I do different.

I see where you’re coming from. I don’t think it would be desperate. You’re just looking for a direct answer. It puts her in a position to not be a coward. I once talked to a guy for a while in another state, everything was all good I even flew out to meet his goofy self and then when I left he just started acting weird and pulling back. I came straight out and asked him and got my answer. I guess everyone is different.

Have you ever tried straight out asking her?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
