Seriously. I am no lumberjack or anything; I am quite feminine, fairly traditional/old-school but also happen to be educated, have a good job and good income, a good personality, and the purdy eyes and DD’s. Where are the damn men??? Lol

Have you always had an inferiority complex? You bring plenty of value to your relationship with your husband. The only issue that I wonder about is his low libido at 46. Yes, that is much older than you but at 46, seems like he’d be wanting to go at it often.

Absolutely nothing, and I would also emphasize how important loyalty is.

Good list. Quite similar to what I would write for mine.

You are male, right?

I suppose that the FDS’s ideal man is just as unrealistic as TRP’s ideal woman.

Not in a third-world country or in the past and my ex-h was a prolific cheater while I trusted that he was as loyal as I was, and I never put myself first.

It’s really hard to nail down. Looks wise, mentioning celebrities just to illustrate types: I love Henry Cavill but I also really like Jackie Chan! Every man is different and has his own qualities and vibe. I definitely prefer brown hair and either blue or green eyes. Not skinny, obese or overly-muscular. Around my height. Intelligent, funny, confident, gentlemanly, insightful, a good conversationalist (this includes listening), sentimental, generous with his time, chivalrous, sexy (to me), sele…

FDS for women serves the same function as TRP does for men.

Just please try to remember that those igits on Instagram or just IRL do not represent all of womankind. My daughter is the same as I am.’

But the thing is, what happens when the makeup comes off from either getting sweaty or from showering together? I just don’t understand the need for all of that to begin with.

Lol no

Maybe so. But as far as myself, I am definitely wired that way and always have been. No judgement for those who are not; everyone should just be honest about it.

No problem. Enjoy your day. One disclosure though regarding my failed marriage: he cheated. (And he was not as good-looking as I am but I did love him. He is just not wired for monogamy, at all.)

Lol they haven’t. My long-term BF passed away two years ago and if he were still here, I would be with him right now instead of on Reddit. I hope that things turn around for you. Your frustration is quite evident.

Interesting viewpoint. You do realize that only some women do that, right? Personally, I do not and have never done so. I have never been anything close to high maintenance; wouldn’t want to deal with that all the time plus, it’s similar to false advertisement IMO.

I have neither dated out of my league nor settled. I have always been in serious committed relationships, except for one fling with a younger man after I broke up with someone and that was years ago, and it was by choice.

Thanks for your take on this. This has never been my experience.

If that’s the case, this sounds like this is really about how women are having the nerve to try for men as attractive as they are but really should settle.

“All a woman has to do is choose a man less attractive than her and then filter…” Why choose less attractive???

Maybe just from curiousity? Maybe the same reason men look at FDS?

Excellent question because I have encountered a few men who have done just that.

I’m demisexual and have never wanted to be with anyone other than my partner; I’m just wired that way and always have been.

Ahh but what you didn’t know was that 80% of those gay dudes have major ED, and the rest of them are whiny bitches who project too much. Regardless, I’ve already spent too much time on this question and I prefer reality, which is pretty good. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Game? 🤢 Neither you nor I can speak for all women but as a woman, I would say that looks do matter to some of us, at least to some degree.

Okay add that men also lose one inch in height, their hairline recedes one inch, and they gain one wrinkle. Result: they do not look DiSTiNgUiShEd; they look old!!!

Make is so that men who cheat lose penis size each time. Sally on Tuesday: one inch gone. Sheila on Saturday: another one gone.

My last boyfriend cried while telling me about his father who had passed away a few years prior and I felt for him, listened to him and consoled him. I think that it would be terribly heartless for someone to be rejected or punished for showing some vulnerability. Editing to add: Showing vulnerability would never be a turn-off; I would feel closer to the person and thus even more attracted.

I would James Kirk/Kobayashi Maru the hell out of that as I need both desire and love. That is the only acceptable solution.

LMAO Not all all. Did you even read the entire post? He happened to look like that but it was just a bonus as I already liked him, for him.

My pre-tax two cents: I met my Mr. Perfect online and had the best three years of my life with him until he passed away. I had never met anyone online before but that is how we met. We started texting before I even knew what he looked like. I liked him from the start because of his humor, wit, personality and outlook. He was so pleasant to talk to and we just clicked. He then sent me a pic and although he was somewhat attractive, he was not the best-looking man that I have ever dated. He was no …
