It’s short sighted. The nature of people requires an understanding by exposure to what you idealize in comparison to your reality that alters your perception.

We play the mission impossible soundtrack at work when my boss is being insane.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/25 08:25 PM

My mom is like that. I’m pretty sure her mom was similar.

I remember that. I think she buys him something for his watch, but he sells his watch to buy her a comb. So their sacrifices of their most valued item end up rendering their gifts useless. The sacrifice for each other was the gift. You unlocked a memory for me.

I don’t want to get married I see nothing wrong with men who feel the same way. My stepdad got half of what my mom spent her life building when they got divorced. Won’t be me.

No it isn’t. The male equivalent is you letting men penetrate you whenever they wanted.

I mean, I’d take all that a lot more seriously if conservatives/RP didn’t consistently fall into the same trap exposing hypocrisy via projection every time they are challenged on their application of critical thought. It’s emotion masked as logic every single time. Weaponizing ignorance is a convenient tool to keeping people that way. Especially considering they get triggered consistently and it makes them so easy to expose by those who see their blind spots before they do.

It is always interesting to see someone who believes the problems of the past are the solutions of the future. That kind thinking is the definition of insanity and the very reason history keeps repeating itself. The world won’t be better for future generations until we stop reverting to what we got wrong in the past as if it’s the answer to the present.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/25 02:58 AM

You know. The thing men claim is their reason to do anything - sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/25 02:32 AM

Yes. It was in support of lowering standards to men with part time jobs making 12,000 a year. All those men need is a little feminine influence to reach greatness.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/25 02:26 AM

A man in another thread said that you just need to use your feminine influence on him and he will be great.

Thank you for this insight, really helpful. Are there specific male only spaces that you see as most important for men to have access to as well as maintained by voices that support?

“men struggle to socialize with other men when women are involved” Do you mind elaborating on this? “men teaching women how and why to cooperate” And this?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/25 07:44 PM

Those men aren’t the biological father who signed away his rights in exchange for his full paycheck. Those men don’t have the possibly of emotional attachment the same way when coming face to face with your little mini and immediately falling in love. This has nothing to do with any man other than the biological father. His choice has consequences. Just like when women have abortions and risk complications that lead to loss of relationships, financial burdens from procedure, physical and emotion…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/25 03:29 AM

Because humans and relationships are complex. Men think they can make a permanent decision like abortion and still have both options to see the kid freely? No. He chose to remove all responsibility, she can let him see the kid if she wants (unlikely), but she and the law can change that at any time. He had an abortion and that should be enforced as his reality. When women have abortions there is no child. They don’t get to take it back. If men want the options that women have, they get the conse…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/25 03:09 AM

If he chooses to financially abort the child it should automatically give her the right to place a restraining order into effect at any time. Perhaps with some specific conditions that allow him to stay where he’s living and stay at his job, but conditions can be easily removed if he violates the order in any way.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/25 02:57 AM

The mother should be given the option to easily get a restraining order at any time to keep him away from her and the child as well.

No you’re not taking accountability. You have the right to protect yourself. If she won’t sign or date you because you want to protect yourself via a prenup then she isn’t compatible with you. If you’d rather choose to do nothing to protect yourself when it’s already a fear for you - you’re insecure and untrusting that women would want to be with you for you. You just want to blame women in either scenario when you have every right to enforce boundaries before getting married.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/25 11:19 PM

Men accusing women of being entitled and untrustworthy in either scenario is men being insecure and untrusting.

Gross. Men should utilize prenups to protect themselves if they are worried about divorce.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/25 10:12 PM

When they say “she’s someone’s daughter” They are saying she matters because she is someone to someone else. In other words because she matters to a man and what happens to her affects him, she’s worth caring about because it’s in reference to his pain. Not hers. Not that she is simply someone because that alone isn’t enough for it to matter. It’s said in context to who she might be to others because without that insight people see her as worthless because her identify is based on her being an o…

Women are currently at risk of losing their rights. Women have recently lost rights in several states. The SAVE act was passed which affects married women’s ability to vote. Would you feel the same way if you had the same risks where your rights could be completely removed because of who you did or did not choose to date or marry?

I’ve seen men blame women for Trump being elected, calling it punishment for women’s standards being too high. I’ve seen men who say women should lose their voting rights to fix the dating market. I’ve seen men post fantasies threatening femicide if women don’t start dating men they aren’t attracted to. Obviously not all men are saying this, but I have seen an uptick of that kind of commentary since the US election. I wonder if you’d see the relevancy in debating the topic if you women were advo…

Yes, and it’s funny because astrology is contradictory in the most convenient ways. But it’s not about any of that or about accuracy IMO. It’s about emotional context. It’s adding a layer of complexity to you which strengthens her emotional connection and curiosity which is going to increase her sexual attraction to you the more it lines up with her preferences. It also makes her feel like since you’re compatible you’re more likely to have the capacity to care about her the way she desires to be…

Why would she be more likely to sabotage the relationship (waste her own time) instead of breaking up with him and exploring other options? She’s the one with options he’s the one without them. If she can cut off the more attractive option for his behavior she could just as easily cut off the less attractive guy. Is it because he has been attempting to manipulate her and diminish her confidence and self worth into believing she’s not worthy of finding someone better who makes her happy? Because …

Yes that’s true. He threatened to kill us a lot. That’s why I call if psychopathic because that is like a tame story about my dad, and that post reminded me of something he’d do. Lots of abuse. About a month before he died he bought a gun and he was going to kill us. I have no doubt if he didn’t die when he did, none of us would be alive.

Same. My dad actually used to tell his affair partners that me, my brothers, and my mom all died in a house fire. And he did this for years. When he died two of his girlfriends who didn’t know about the other one or his living family showed up to the funeral. I think they only knew about the funeral because the morning he was killed it was all over the local news. It was a funeral to remember that’s for sure. It’s psychopath behavior from my experience.

Omg yes to a clothes line ☀️. How long do you usually stay in the US? Do you stay here to see family or another reason? I’ve never been to Thailand but I would absolutely love to go someday. I bet it’s easy to get homesick. I travel a lot for work and have spent months in other countries for projects and there’s always little things that make me homesick for the first month or so that I don’t expect to miss as much as I do.

I find cleaning therapeutic a lot of times tbh, I like it too. I need to get a bit better at cooking, he’s definitely better the better cook. Have you ever sent your laundry out to a laundromat for a fluff and fold? It’s usually pretty inexpensive (like $1 a lb in the US) and so worth it for anyone who doesn’t enjoy it imo.

My bf just started doing it, I never knew it was something I wanted before. He keeps his cars strictly immaculate and he just added mine to his rotation without me asking. I’ve never had someone do that for me before but I find it so adorable. What’s your fav chore and least fav chore?

I really appreciate a man who will take care of my car maintenance. It’s so thoughtful. Making sure I have gas, oil changes, gets it washed for me bi-weekly. I will happily exchange this for doing all of the laundry and all of the grocery shopping, or any chore really that he doesn’t like doing that I can take care of that makes his life easier. I hate car maintenance. I love laundry though.

Is that unconditional forgiveness and loyalty? Or do they have limits? It’s interesting because women are conditioned to prioritize men and the needs of others over our own from a very young age (at least I was and many women I’ve known were as well). When you mention men’s conditioning of unconditional love for women do you mean providing for and protection? Could you please elaborate on that?

/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/25 01:27 AM

I think they call themselves dating coaches these days because the entire point of influencer pyramid schemes is to sell someone on the idea that they can be just like the men they worship. Each course, book, webinar, or podcast is marketed strategically to lead them to the idea if they buy or engage with X they will get Y. And if/when they don’t get what’s promised they shift gears and give them a reason to blame women so that they never lose their influence over the men who fail because the me…

He’s really deep into TRP. He buys all the courses and is a “dating coach” on the side. Sometimes he coaches other guys on the live who come up to him because they notice what he’s doing. Then they double up so they can more easily approach groups and do the same thing to an entire group of women which singles out if any of those women are interested vs doing it 1 on 1. It’s a time saver. He also does experiments. He once dedicated a weekend pretending to be deaf with his friend translating sign…

There’s a Red Pill guy on TikTok who goes live showing himself cold approaching all over San Diego. His formula is this: Approaches making a comment about something he noticed about them. His goal is to feed into her emotions as it gives him leverage to incite an emotional response in return. The responses tell him what she’s actually feeling vs saying. In the legal world, you don’t offer someone 10 million in exchange for a non-disparagement and a release of claims if they don’t have substantial evidence backing them. It is extremely rare to get that kind of offer, just look at how much less politicians have paid for silence. If this was worth 10 million to Sharpe to settle out of court it’ll be very interesting to see the evidence if this goes to trial. I doubt it’ll get that far considering she has Buzbee.

No, I don’t think demonizing it is necessary as long as the person joining with that intent is respectful. I’ve never used dating apps I prefer to meet organically. I may be an outlier here but my first LTR was a cold approach in a bar/restaurant. My second and current LTR was a lukewarm approach. You never know who you’re going to meet so I don’t think blocking the option is beneficial. I’ve known women who joined hobby groups with the intention of meeting someone too.

Yeah, agree but it’s not really that difficult to maintain an immaculate house (unless you have kids who aren’t old enough for chores). Don’t make huge messes and clean as you go. I’ve known a lot of men who are immaculate who don’t spend a ton of time they just have couple of things they do for daily and weekly maintenance.

Gender roles were about more than survival, they were about control. Survival did not require women to be legally considered “property”. Survival did not require women to be forced into providing free labor for mens benefit under the guise of gender roles. That part of your response is an example of main character syndrome. You asked women to answer a question and then you minimized and misinterpreted what I said without noticing, I said both genders do this, but men don’t notice it the same way…

SOME men have main character syndrome without realizing that women do as well now that we have rights to be independent. But for some reason SOME men demonize women for doing so while justifying themselves because it’s been ingrained in our society for such a long time which created an imbalance in their capacity to empathize and limited their self awareness to a degree that they cannot see their own selfishness and hypocrisy. They want to be the hero and the victim in every scenario. A lot of m…

AWALT = All women are like that. Red pillers believe all women are hypergamous.

I think secure RP men sometimes use submissive as a synonym for respect. I feel like respect is the biggest thing for a lot of men in general. I think that insecure men want submissive women because it feeds into their front of masking their fragile masculinity. If you need someone to be less so you can feel like you’re more you probably should learn to manage your own emotions.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 03:04 AM

I am well aware of how many men I’ve met and how many of those men were safe. The point is that I do not trust freely, it is earned. I have done the work to discern the difference in therapy. To be fair you are a huge victim of a propaganda yourself. You also spread it consistently. I’m not really sure you grasp the difference between propaganda and what you personally agree with. Didn’t you vote for Trump? Your opinion doesn’t have a lot of merit when you voted for someone found guilty in a court of law of SA.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 09:48 PM

I think one thing that’s important to consider is a lot of this comes from the men we are closest to. For example, my stepdad. When you have those experiences from men you should be able to trust it has a big impact on how we see the world around us. Add in statistics and the fact that most women do not report their SA because of how they are treated when they do it becomes very obvious why women would choose bear.

Therapists tell men and women that their emotions are theirs to deal with. They give them tools to identify those emotions and ways to process and communicate them. Some people really don’t like to hear that in a relationship dynamic. Usually the person who doesn’t want to continue therapy is the one who doesn’t want to take that advice and gets very upset at the suggestion.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 05:45 AM

I know it’s not supposed to really poke you. If it’s poking you a lot maybe mention to your gf to check it with her doctor. They will check if they need to cut the string a little or move it for her. It’s supposed to wrap up around the cervix to the side. It’s very common for it to get hit or settle in the wrong position when it’s healing after the trauma of insertion. A lot of women need it adjusted a couple of weeks after they get it put in and it’s healed.

His pelvis can stimulate the clit because he can insert his penis all the way comfortably. For example if a girl is on top and she starts grinding rather than going up and down she’s doing that to stimulate her clit. A guy can do something similar when he’s on top. That’s why we tell you to learn to move your hips and not just jackhammer away.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 12:33 AM

You will love it.

TRP tells you what to believe, to be true RP it is not left to your interpretation. That is purple or blue pill. TRP is an influencer pyramid scheme, it is grounded on manipulation to keep you tuning in, engaged, and of course your endless supply of free advertising to their target audience. TRP cannot be a philosophy by definition as it has influenced politics globally and drastically in the US towards fascism, another ideology using corresponding theories. Women’s rights are in danger. I disagree, when people don’t walk away they make bad decisions to try to fix the relationship instead. They’ll get married, have a kid, expose those kids to unhealthy relationships, those kids will repeat the pattern in their own relationships, etc. People should be encouraged to vet better with an understanding that sometimes that means walking away before you make life altering mistakes.

No, it shapes your entire personalities and you project that onto women. Most of you are begging women to care about your dicks as much as you do.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 10:32 AM

Men care about penis size more than women. Men talk about and think about penises way more than women. You’re absolutely obsessed with dicks in a way women are not. Vagina canals come in all kinds of different shapes and sizes, just like dicks, which means women genuinely have different preferences based on the curve and structure of their own sexual organs, not just yours.

You aren’t stomping out emotions. Neurotransmitters are signaling your brain when you have emotions. When you don’t process them they aren’t going away, you’re just creating distance from them tricking yourself into believing you’re in control. It is important for women to be aware of what men who partake in the manosphere are saying. It doesn’t pertain to every man, but enough men to know once you recognize TRP speak it isn’t very uncommon. It has amplified since the election IMO. I mean the SAVE act passed in congress yesterday. I am not saying it is all men, but for women it is relevant to know what red pill is teaching men about women.

Healthy porn consumption and porn addiction aren’t the same thing. You’re saying it doesn’t exist because you have a healthy relationship with it. And yes, there are men who have lost everything to porn addiction. There are a lot of flaws within the DSM6 in diagnosing various mental health disorders that are widely known to therapists. It is not the best or only method necessary for diagnosis in terms of treatment - it is what insurance companies enforce for billing purposes which keeps it relevant. I hear you. I think we need more funding and targeted research for mental health support for men specifically that is also accessible and more importantly - attractive TO men. More male therapists are also crucial IMO. Men who have been told since they were young boys to shove down their emotions need options that target the way boys are socialized. I’ve had both male and female therapists, in my experience men need men in those roles because it is very common for women (especially older) to tre…

I didn’t always think this, there was actually a thread a while ago on this subreddit that changed my mind. I understand where many women are coming from too. I just think it’s a good example of how healthy relationships require empathy to go both ways.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 02:55 AM

I didn’t call you a name it just seems rather hypocritical to call someone’s sexual boundaries exaggerated or neurotic while promoting something that crosses sexual boundaries for others which could easily be considered an inappropriate influence of feminism.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 02:50 AM
8

This is interesting because I’ve observed a lot of men that act like they are owned respect from women simply for being men, but when it comes to men respecting other men it has to be earned.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 02:37 AM

You’re literally in a sex cult that tries to appeal to vulnerable men on this very subreddit
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 02:16 AM

A lot of women are told to avoid men in the military and police officers as partners for that specific reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 01:35 AM

You didn’t explain it. I did.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 07:25 PM

Why were they posting images, videos, and even live streaming themselves raping their mothers, sisters, daughters, and partners in the chat? Why were there so many confessions about who and how they raped their victim for other men to do the same? Why were they posting links to purchase sedatives for their victims disguised as hair products? Defending this says a lot about you.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 06:37 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 10:26 AM

Why restrict abortion if the result equates to more of it?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 09:04 AM

Is it just me or is that mass censorship campaign been doing a really bad job?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 08:51 AM

Women are bleeding out in their cars as evidenced by states with abortion restrictions. I wonder why there’d be an uptick in those numbers when you could just die of sepsis in your third trimester instead, don’t you?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 07:43 AM

Banning abortion has this consequence, it’s not a fun fact it’s a very well known fact. Which is why it’s never been about the fetus and always been about controlling women. Abortion will happen regardless but there will be more women who die from them or lack there of which consequently kills the fetus inside of her that pro-lifers claim to care about.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 07:37 AM

Yeah I see it all the time, several times a week. You also reminded me about that telegram chat room with over 70,000 men sharing tips about raping women that made the news. Feel like there’s been a lot of it in the past few months.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 07:23 AM

Because it’s mostly based on manipulation with the bulk of TRPers. That’s why there’s so much anger expressed towards women’s preferences. If you manipulate someone to get what you want you can control them by enhancing their self doubt over and over again. When they say accountability they mean punishment. They mean devalue. It often verges on emotional abuse.

I use a duvet I just never thought of it as rendering the sheets unnecessary but you make a valid point here. I love the idea of two separate duvets I’m so doing that. Seems to be for some women, I think there is a mixture from what I see from women I’ve known. For men I do think casual sex is the most predominant validator based on what men are saying. They want the instant desire that some women may get from simply posting a photo online. If that makes sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/25 08:22 PM

Because you are responsible for the decisions you make and if you’re worried about getting someone pregnant wear a condom or don’t have sex. Just like women should be on birth control to reduce their own risk and not fuck men who feel oppressed by rubber and believe they don’t have any responsibility for their decisions if they don’t like the outcome when post nut clarity hits. I have never heard of that being the reason. Rape kits are incredibly invasive, painful, and take hours upon hours. I do not think it is a common occurrence for someone to get one without merit. In fact I’d wager most women don’t because they are very expensive and everyone has different trauma responses after those kinds of tragedies. They literally dig out tissue, they can see bruising and tears internally, draw blood work and do a full panel, they are interviewed by hospital staff, case worke…

I feel like men are really good at compartmentalizing who they are in relationships and are very different within the man friend groups. I’ve heard a lot of guys say they were shocked when a friend of theirs was outed as an abuser (legitimately) because they never seen that side of him, he’s not like that around his friends. Part of the abuser trait is usually that they are masters at this. Do you think that is a valid interpretation from what I’ve observed? Genuine question btw.

Men created the demand for it, for profit, and it works by keeping men angry, for profit. Edit: I do think some RP users here make valid points, but it’s a small margin.

Majority of Red Pillers have no idea what influencer pyramid schemes are or how they work and are actively participating in them because they don’t understand how the money is generated through affiliate contracts as well as all the free marketing they provide to the ideal demographic of lonely men.

A lot of guys on here criticize women who don’t sleep with these men right away claiming they have so many options that they need to sleep with them to even have a shot because they’ll just move on. Which is the opposite of what you should do with men who have a lot of options as my previous bf and current bf are what a lot of you would name “chad” or whatever. There is so much contradictory advice to suit whatever subjective take that is the wrong advice.

I do 🤷‍♀️

I’ve read that a lot of marriage problems start when a couple has their first kid because of this. Some men can become very jealous of the baby when the mother has to devote attention and affection to their newborn.

Your flair in this interaction 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 09:02 AM

Well, it’s always been my experience as someone who dates to marry and has never had casual sex with anyone and never would even if I was single.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 08:39 AM
4

Yes it is. It releases endorphins, oxytocin, toxins, stress, and soothes the nervous system. It’s a chemical release. It’s hard for me to cry actually, I stuffed it down for a long time and it’s still rare (suppressed due to severe trauma by way or torture to be real). That’s the only reason I ever looked into it. But I won’t argue with your personal stance.

Crying is good for you!

Please allow me to expand on the way it is perceived by someone who disagrees. When someone is insecure they rely on the validation of others to supplement their ego, their lack of confidence needs to be fed somehow. Typically more often than not, they don’t work on themselves. They will try to convince others that they aren’t all that wonderful instead. They do this to break down their partners confidence to a lower level than their own. It gives them the power in the relationship. Men don’t wa…

Not if they are insecure, and that’s the issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 01:19 AM

It’s interesting you say this, because it’s actually a topic I worked through in therapy. My male therapist was the first man to ever express outrage and a similar sentiment to what happened. Over a decade later.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 12:04 AM

That’s how abuse works, you will believe you deserve it the longer you’re exposed to it. The cycle of abuse is a very real thing.

My dad used to threaten to kill us and I have no doubt he was about to attempt it right before he died based on the fact he acquired the weapon about a week before he was killed (possible suicide based on the testimony’s I’ve read, I’m really not sure). He used to tell the women he cheated on my mom with that we all died in a house fire. They were pretty surprised when they showed up at the funeral. No it isn’t. Controlling your emotions is intellectualizing them. Managing and controlling are not the same thing. Managing gives autonomy to feeling, validation for why it’s there, and healthy processes to work through them. Shoving your emotions down is being dominated by them. Your response showed a lack of EQ. You should learn to manage your emotions instead of reacting to disagreement by insulting me.

I’ve seen a lot of men say talk therapy or support groups don’t work for them. Is it more male spaces or is it more research and options for mental health support that provide less traditional low-cost methods for healing?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 08:29 PM
1

That makes sense
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 08:20 PM
1

What if the woman harasses the man by bringing the child to him? I ask because that’s another person that would then be involved and deal with consequences that’s totally innocent and also could have mental health impact on the man. I agree with you, but I’m just curious about what you think in that instance.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 08:20 PM
2

I’ve always been curious about if the mother decided to keep the child and the biological father opts for the financial abortion. Can he change his mind when kid is older? Does he still have access to have a relationship with the child and mother? Can he still parent without providing financial support? I’m not saying this would be common, but what in that scenario what would happen and should it matter? If it does matter does financial abortion come with a restraining order in this case?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 08:56 AM

I’ve never been asked but I have gone shopping with 2 of my male friends who asked me to help them buy clothes to improve their wardrobe.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 03:35 AM

Well in certain cases it does. In other cases you’ll find contradicting statements here and there. But I’ve never pretended I don’t like persistence. I have other preferences that others don’t share too. If someone has a lot of options, so do I. I’d be stupid to be easy because I’m not interested in casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 01:41 AM
4

Well if you only focus on that example, sure. I’m not an average woman, but persistence is the only reason I didn’t deny him. He had to earn that. I said no for about 6 months. I apologize if that was triggering.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 01:08 AM
4

No argument here
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 01:04 AM

Yes, that was just how we met. It took a lot of persistence on his end because I was hesitant for a while. He was an ex pro athlete and very attractive, so I knew he had plenty of options and I wasn’t interested in being an option.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 11:26 PM

Piggybacking off your comment. I’ve had 2 LTR, I met the first at a restaurant when I was out with friends, and the second was a business owner and I was a customer at his company.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 10:34 PM
1

You don’t think men are equally reactive when they face criticism?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 10:12 PM
7

I was looking at the top threads here the other day and almost all of them are threads criticizing women.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 08:39 PM
3

You would not think it was a moot point if you were the one to get pregnant though. A lot of times during these discussions men speak like abortion is something simple, inexpensive, or easy for women. To be clear, I do not believe anyone, men included, should be forced to be a parent against their will. I also believe that men should carry an equal amount of responsibility for prevention in that instance so it would be cool if there were more options, however that might look.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 09:48 AM
1

What does that have to do with you using birth control to reduce risk of pregnancy?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 09:04 AM
1

So?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 08:51 PM
1

We aren’t talking about the diversion you tried you use. You’re talking about fixing women to be who you think they should be, because it makes you feel good. Yes, that is using women to make yourself feel good. You help people because you want to, because people only change if they want to change, you can’t fix anyone, you can support them and you should not expect anything in return, because they have to do it themselves if they truly want it. Don’t be dense.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 08:17 PM
10

Can we talk about birth control options for men too?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 07:23 AM

I can see both sides, and I agree one leaving. I don’t think he’s a bad person and I understand there can be a lot of shame in these topics. But I can’t say I wouldn’t feel misled even though I understood why he chose not to tell me it’s still the cause for the breakup he knew about.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 12:26 AM

I am genuine in my questions - it’s not a gotcha. I’d be interested to know how you see it as not deceitful as well from a male perspective.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 12:20 AM

He doesn’t have to marry her though, that takes two. If he wanted to marry her he could have also asked for a prenup. If she refused that would probably be a good indication of intentions. So why did he choose to marry someone who wants to steal his money?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 12:13 AM
0

I don’t know, do you?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 12:09 AM

They aren’t the same thing, this isn’t about porn. In the OP it states he wants to start dressing more feminine, but he hadn’t shared that before talking about marriage. Would you be ok with the same in your relationship? Would you question why you’re being told now when he’s known? Would you understand but also be misled? If your friends saw him out dressed like a woman, would you care?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 12:03 AM
3

Why do you want relationships with drug addicts or people who engage in dangerous behaviors unless you feel like that’s what you deserve? If you do it on the basis of it making yourself feel good then you’re doing it to be manipulative. It’s for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/25 11:42 PM

Can you expand on this?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/25 11:32 PM

You don’t see it as misleading?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/25 11:23 PM

Why do you think women would engage in more violence? What’s the why in why men abuse that is important in your opinion?

That makes sense, I hadn’t thought of it that way

Nuance, it’s not uncommon for people to use insults thrown at them as terms of endearment within their own groups.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/25 10:06 PM

You’re right. It doesn’t seem to stop the men here who use it in almost every argument when this comes up though. At least in the USA.

Men are still required to register for selective service, women should be too.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/25 06:14 PM

It does help the person as he’s expressed in this thread. Why are you policing this conversation about periods? It’s a really weird stance for you to take considering other women said the same thing. You don’t decide what’s helpful for everyone but you do get to decide other fun stuff here :) stop messing with me I’m on my period
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/25 05:58 PM

Why? Wouldn’t that just help support him that he should probably ask his partner instead of assuming random women online speak for her and her period preferences? Especially since we are all saying it depends? He asked the question…because he wanted various answers…like a critical thinker…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/25 05:09 PM
3

We shed our uterine lining lol @ flush out an egg Some women have thicker lining which is why some women have heavier periods or if they skip them with birth control when they have their first one after skipping it’ll be heavier than usual because more lining has built up because the body thinks it’s pregnant

Yeah crazy that all women aren’t identical in what they like and what they think isn’t it?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/25 04:57 PM

No it’s because this has been explained on this sub countless times and posters like you who think you know what is sexually attractive to women more than women aren’t worth the argument when it’s not in good faith.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/25 04:55 PM
2

Confidence is attractive to women and if you don’t know that then I don’t know what to tell you here. This isn’t rocket science and you’re being quite illogical about it if I do say so myself. This isn’t revolutionary information - just information convenient for you to dismiss.

For me it’s just like the first few days and then after that I’m game but it varies for everyone. The day before/day I start are the days I just can’t. However orgasms do help with period cramps :) It’s also nice when guys aren’t disgusted by it…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/25 04:36 PM

Anger is a secondary emotion so actually anger masks other emotions making it not just one emotion. Anger skips sadness, hurt, fear, and/or grief. That is why sometimes men show more anger because it’s one of the few emotions that they feel comfortable enough to express without feeling vulnerable or judged (I don’t think this is men’s fault at all btw just the way our society treats many men who show emotions sadly).

You should walk around with the confidence to have high standards for what you want in partner and not lower them because you think that’s your only option. This is kind of what you learn about in therapy, because low self esteem also can attract abusive partners. That’s why it’s so important. It’s not just about confidence, it’s about not letting anyone treat you badly and loving yourself enough to see red flags.

I mean she hasn’t been single long enough in my opinion. I think that a year is the minimum. Otherwise I would see codependency and unhealthy coping mechanisms becoming a potential issue. But in all reality I could be projecting. I’m a slow healer. I cry when I think my dog is mad at me..so.

I see men being much more critical of women’s looks frequently. I also think women are critical of each other’s looks. I see women complaining about how men treat them more often than criticizing how men look. I do however acknowledge the height topic amongst women being hurtful though.

This would be a GOOD thing. The earth is overpopulated and we are killing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/25 04:49 AM

Is it standards men have about looks have or standards of traditional gender roles? I see the latter which is why I’m asking.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 11:39 PM

I see what you mean, I see my own defensiveness/bias being the problem you’re expressing. So I guess my answer would be that actually.

I was asking…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 10:54 PM

Can you expand on silencing of men’s experiences in this context? In your scenario I’d seek therapy so that the validation and opinions of others isn’t dictating my worth and learn to look out for toxic or negative men and women who choose to be unsupportive and hurtful towards me. In this case I think men need more mental health support because I know men don’t have as many positive experiences with therapy even if it’s available to them but that’s another topic. Even if something isn’t your fa…

What do you want women to do about it? It often seems like it’s an attempt at weaponizing incompetence and making it a problem for women to fix instead of men working on men’s issues. I rarely see men validating women’s dating issues.

No it’s because porn is made for men. Most fucking in porn does not look like it feels good as a woman. To be blunt it actually looks painful. It’s predominately visually for the male orgasm.

Or women actually seek mental health support and are diagnosed more often than men. Men are just as emotional, if not more, than women. Anger is an emotion.

Nope because you don’t have the ability to get pregnant. Once men can have babies you can have that too.

Nothing, the world is overpopulated and many people shouldn’t be parents. We don’t need to repopulate so the rich have more workers and we can destroy the planet further.

Because majority of women take ownership of birth control even when unpleasant side affects disrupt their lives. Part of the problem in today’s world with dating for men is quite literally that hormonal birth control makes men less attractive to women when they instinctually look for an attractive genetic match to have sex. It reduces our receptors and drive to reproduce because our bodies hormonally are tricked into thinking we are already 3 months pregnant. If men would bear the side affects o…

Men have the same options to prevent pregnancy and have no risk of dying in child birth or because they can’t get an abortion. If you don’t want any risk don’t have sex. If you don’t want to be burdened by child support then it’s your job to take it seriously just as much as women’s.

Show me your facts that back up your claim that women have a problem with logic. Because you’re the only one displaying that and lack of critical thought in this thread. I’m actually not sure you know what critical thought means.

Yes and our legal system is generally broken. The law and its interpretation sucks cuz legal vs illegal often doesn’t pertain to right vs wrong. Very frustrating.

Last December my neighbor was beaten to death by her boyfriend. He was only caught because he was dragging her dead body to her car and a few cameras picked it up. I live in nice town in a nice community. Those experiences are the things that bring on what you describe - the situations you’d never expect. Definitely changed me and made me more neurotic.
