A lot of incels I met on various forums really don't like sex workers and think the profession should be banned. That hasn't been my experience. Maybe some want sex work to be banned, but I don't think you can just assume they all think that way.

Neither, and when I've said I want a girlfriend, I've gotten many responses accusing me of acting entitled.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 11:52 PM

I have no idea which people you're referring to, I never read that.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 11:39 PM

People intentionally misconstrue "I want a girlfriend" with "I am owed a woman."

wanting a relationship is called "You aren't entitled to a girlfriend"

They intentionally set up an impossible goal. Let's say you did get to the point where you could "be happy without a relationship." Then what? You wouldn't try to get a relationship because you're already happy, a relationship doesn't make your life any better. And, since all relationships come with some kind of costs, you'll actually be made worse off if you get a relationship. you want a relationship: you can't until you achieve goals X, Y, and Z first, so it's fine to deprive you of a relatio…

As far as I can tell, blue pill dating advice for men is: your interest in finding a romantic relationship is why you have a bad personality. You can't start dating until you've decided you are not interesting in dating. Sure, once you can date you'll choose to not date - now that dating isn't something you want to do - but that's besides the point.

That doesn't make any sense

For straight men, that kind of physical contact with other men has zero appeal. It just doesn't do anything for us. Snuggling with a woman on the other hand does. That's what I mean by how it is not a replacement for men.

No one ever seriously said there was literally zero chance. There's always "hope" in the sense that there's always hope that you could win the lottery with a single ticket. Sure, it's 1 in a million or even worse odds, but there's a non-zero chance. It's just that there's so little you can do to bring it up to a probability where it might seriously work out for you. That's how it is for most men these days.

We get it. Y’all don’t get much from emotional bonds and intimacy with other men lol No, most men do, I do. It's just that it isn't a substitute for romantic relationships, emotional bonds, intimacy, and sex with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 10:03 PM

It's irrelevant because we're not talking about general quality of life, we're talking about dating/sex/romantic relationships. We aren't talking about platonic friendships. Yes, I read the link. For example, touch from intimate male friends is not a replacement for touch from women. A hug and snuggle with a male friend is not even wanted, at least for me. I have zero interest in snuggling with a man. I do with women. So, snuggling with a man does not at all address, to whatever extent it's a pr…

It’s more about having rich accumulative bonds to add relative gains to one’s overall QoL. Okay, that's fine, but what about finding a good romantic relationship with a woman? What about having the kind of sex the man wants? This isn't a platonic friendship debate sub, it's a dating one, so sex and romantic relationships are the topic here. It isn't that you're wrong, it's that your point is irrelevant to the issue at hand.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 06:58 PM

The point where you go wrong is assuming that "rich intimate friendships with other men" is a substitute for a romantic relationship with a woman. I'd also say that men do have "rich intimate friendships with other men," it's just that it looks different compared to those kinds of friendships that women have with each other.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 06:48 PM

So much entitlement from that woman.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
