It’s tough, play a long game though. I know alot of dads whose kids became distant after divorce (and the mums encouraged it), but those dads who made an effort, weren’t pushy but kind of hung in there - the kids always came back to them.

Children are collateral damage in divorce. Just back off for a bit. Nothing you can do, particularly if you start running around like a bull in a china shop, is going ti change the situation. Just give her some breathing space - she might change her mind about you. But yeah - men don’t just divorce their wives, they often unwittingly divorce their kids as well.

Maybe you don’t feel like crying because actually you’re OK about the divorce, but you’re just feeling exhausted. There’s no particular reason you need to cry about it, just try to adjust to your new life.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
