I think Amy is actually David Wong's Mary Sue character, despite the main character of the series being David Wong... Spiders wasn't bad, but it jumped around in plot a lot, and it had absolutely nothing to do with the previous book. I didn't care for the movie. It was too... forced? When a goofy part approached, it was just full on stupid. I'm against the death penalty all together. It costs taxpayers more to kill an inmate than to keep them alive, and if death is the easy way out. I want people to suffer. Life sentence should weigh pretty heavily on a person. Of course, I'm also for Medieval style prisons: underground, dark, cold. You might get food and water if the guards remember. That's wretched. I know people will tell you "You shoulda got out of there. Warning signs, etc." The same thing I spewed at female friends in abusive relationships (far worse than mine ever got). It's that mental abuse that breaks you down and makes you convince yourself that you can't leave or shouldn't leave. Until you are literally hollow emotionally. She was a horrible person and I feel shame for everyone who believed her lies.

That's just it... the "red flags" were really really subtle and can could be chalked up to just having a bad day. I wish I was average. I loathe my height. When my boss asks me to do certain jobs around the store, she always ends it with "...because you're so tall." Buying pants is the worst. Sure, little people have plenty of options when it comes to pants. All major retail outlets stop carrying pants at 32 length and I need a 36. I have to special order.
