And the UK was a very small and insignificant part of medieval europe until the 100 years war. You can make a survey or data represent literally anything if you stretch what is actually being taken in as 'data.' For example, beer companies could stretch data to say that beer is good for kids, due to taking a specific set of data that explicitly supported such findings.
